I would give this location a zero star if I could. The service was terrible as our server never came to our table. I was not informed of the special changing to Thursday for the boneless wings special. I would've been more than willing to have the traditional if I knew of this. When another server came and helped us because my son didn't get his order, I had let her know that the sever hasn't been to our table. He was with a party of 40 is what I was told. I found the ambiance for a BWW's a little bland and the food to be a little quiet. Wait what? I guess, I got that mixed up but I'm bass ackwards sometimes. I've been to BWW's in California, Arizona, Las Vegas, and now Ohio. The food is pretty much the same and the service ranges from bad to great. At this location, I found their service just okay. It was a fairly quiet night and we arrived ready to chow down. I got their Italian Burger, which is basically a burger with a mozzarella cheese stick and pizza sauce on it. Come to thing about it, just the description isn't pleasant. But it wasn't bad at all. Still big enough to be filling and tasty enough for me to finish it. My boss and I shared some spicy hot wings. Again, wasn't bad, just okay. Couple of things I learned about Buffalo Wild Wings regardless where you go. That's if you have a favorite item on the menu, don't go out on a limb and be creative. My favorite is their Boneless Parmesan Chicken and I wish I got that last night. The food and their service was just okay. I live a couple of blocks from a BWW's and during football season I'm there almost weekly. Guess I'm spoiled at my home location with excellent service. Plus, they comp my meals there at times. This location compared to other BWW's I've visited left me feeling cheated. Decor is bland, restrooms are in center of building which basically chops the place in half - bar & restaurant. Servers are not motivated to provide excellent service - almost like this is a self-service sports bar. On a recent late Saturday afternoon (3-4PM), they sat me (party of 1) in the far dining room so that I didn't take up a booth. As I watched 1 of my favorite teams, another party requested a certain game as they were seated at the next table. Host didn't ask if I minded but simply changed the channel. I went to the restroom and stopped in the bar area to watch a series as I couldn't watch the game at my table. The server sent the host to check the restroom while she checked the bar as if I had ran out on my check. read more

Reason number one for 4 stars: I have become a fixture at this place. No kidding. Just look in the men's restroom. There I am, cemented to the wall near the paper towel dispenser. Being a fixture in a restroom is almost exactly as bad as you might imagine. But, kudos to BWW Hilliard for not standing in my way. The second reason for the excellent review: I was so flustered with the cast-of-thousands-per-week approach to bartenders that I just gave up trying to choose a favorite. So, I went to the big Morman temple in the sky (actually Salt Lake City, but it was closer to the sky than Columbus) and had a church elder declare me a no-kidding practicing Morman (this is not a cost-free proposition, like in any church recognized by the IRS). Then I returned to Columbus and married three of the bartenders: Tiffany, Lina, and Mel (please be discreet...my attorney has not fully explained the implications of the non-exclusivity clause to all three yet). Now, as you might agree, this is truly an uncommon commitment to a business establishment, especially a chain restaurant with an animal head as a logo. But I stand by my decision--Tiffany, Lina, and Mel are definitely worth almost anything. My final reason for really liking BWW Hilliard is their covered rear patio that's not really all that nice. I don't smoke, but if I started, I'd have a great place to go and "burn one" not too far from the bar (which is populated by a much higher than average proportion of smokers, myself included I would imagine). My smoking wouldn't disturb too many folks (since it's not all that nice out there, as I already said). Actually, unlike the other two, this is not a very good reason to like a place. So, I retract it. Substitute whatever reason you want. Don't even bother telling me what it is. See ya there! read more

This B-Dubs location has served me well over the past few years. My girlfriend treated me to B-Dubs this year for my birthday, which, amazingly, landed on Wing Tuesday. Aside from home-cooked birthday meals, this was one of my best birthdays in recent memory with the endless, half-price chicken wings with B-Dubs' amazing sauces, a couple tall beers, and competitive trivia. Our waiter would come by our booth and sit down across from us to take our orders. The wings were always hot and well-sauced. The beer was cold. The trivia moderately difficult. This location's interior has a wide-open feel with TVs on just about every support column. If your view is blocked or you cannot view a TV with what you want to watch, you can ask an employee to change the channel on one. It's worked for us before. If you're going to binge on wings, definitely go on a Tuesday. Otherwise you're going to chalk up a hefty bill. The cocktails are expensive but really good; the black cherry mojito is excellent. B-Dubs has a wide selection of tasty beers. Please be kind and generous to your waiter/waitress, especially on Wing Tuesdays. Remember, they have to see people undergoing sauce facials all day and night while making multiple stops at your table to deliver more exfoliate. I do not like writing negative reviews- I am honest and try to share what I enjoyed about places along with what I think can be improved. I feel like I have no choice here though. I've always enjoyed all locations of bw3. We order from this location often, usually carry out. Last Wednesday we got 2 kinds of wings for carry out and one of the orders was raw inside. This is a deal breaker for me- could cause major illness. We called and they offered a credit on that part of our order, not even a refund. I just don't think that is adequate at all. Pretty similar to most BWWs I have been to. They had some nice high top seats here tho. We stopped on our way back to Chicago after a wedding and had wings and loaded fries. I had no idea what I was doing ordering the wings. I had so many questions. Our server, Emily, was very patient with us as we went back and forth on how many, what kind, how many different sauces, etc. (So many choices!). Had a nice experience, I like that the bar is a little separated from the dining area, makes it so people can talk to each other at the tables and the rest of us at the bar area can scream at the game. read more

I was visiting C-bus on business this week and usually find BW3's an Oasis. This location did not disappoint in that the bartenders Lina, and Jake were very welcoming and attentive. They had some pretty good specials for drinks...$2.25 for bottle domestic or $3.25 for 24 oz cans. Not too bad. I like how the bar area is seperated from the grill area where families eat. It's nice being able to celebrate or maybe let a curse word fly while watching sports without having to be mindful of kids that are brought to a bar. read more

I ordered wings from the bar on an extremely busy night, so I planned on waiting 15-20 minutes to have fresh wings. These dry, barely warm wings were placed in front of me within three minutes of ordering. Now, I'm no scientist, but I'm almost positive it take over 10 minutes to fully cook raw, cold chicken. If I wanted precooked food, I would have just gone to the White Castle across the parking lot. I couldn't eat the wings, so I tossed them and stuck to the beer. The bartender was knowledgeable when it came to beer and had said some things to me about how management has changed in the past few months since new owners have taken over. For example, I had asked about one of the store's specialty drinks they had going on for St. Patrick's Day. He was honest and said that it was usually pretty decent, but there hasn't been a complete liquor order in weeks, so they were subbing in things like melon schnapps for Midori and vodkas like Smirnoff or Skyy for Grey Goose and Ketel One and still charging the same price. He went on to say that many of the kegs have been back there well past their expiration date and that he's taken bottles of beer off of the shelves that are from over a year ago, but the managers keep putting them up, so be careful with your beer there. If it looks unsavory, I'd say send it back and order something else. The place looks archaic compared to nearly every other location I've been to in recent memory. The walls and carpet are littered with food and stains. The bathroom was horrible. Carvings saying fuck, pussy, faggot and every other cuss word, racial slur, or sexual offering was displayed floor to ceiling for ever man or child that walks into that bathroom. This will most definitely be my last time to this location, as well as both the Grandview and Bethel locations since they are owned and managed by the same guys. Basically, don't go in. If you do venture into this death trap, be prepared for a full display of Murphy's Law. read more

My brain almost exploded. So many flashing screens all around me was a little over stimulating. I was with a group of 4 and we ordered their pretzels. Most tables there have 4 chairs. Most booth there seat ... well ... 4. The pretzel appetizer had.. (!!!) 3 (!!!)? For this to be shared, means that some math needs to be done which is impossible with all the noise and stimuli of the room. They may want to give 4 per basket vs 3. Or, have only odd number seating. Even if they have the same oz of food were there are 4 smaller items. I know,.. crazy talk but this could work. The food was ok. I think I got the wrong thing. The Jerk Chicken sandwich was ok but was bodged together. I got it with onion rings which were AWESOME. For desert we had the chocolate nachos. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I will never go back! Every single time I go here I have To argue to get the sauce that I order. It says in their website up to four sauces! I order an order of large boneless wings and everytime I get two tiny little sauce containers for 25ish wings. Then when I ask for more they tell me it's an extra .60 each side. We came to watch the UFC fight today as soon as we walked in Alisha was extremely rude to us. Immediately telling us with an attitude she didn't have space to seat us (party of 6). There were tables clearly open but she insisted we could not sit and seemed to rush us out of the door. 10 minutes later she said she could sit us at a booth, but kept saying we may not have our food ready for a while. I'm extremely unhappy with this visit and will probably go elsewhere to watch the UFC fights from now on. read more

A friend and I visit this location almost every week. We've had the same server, Cynda, almost every time and she's great! The food here is consistent in quality and there are options for just about every taste. Almost every time we're here, we get the lunch special. Last year they ran a promotion where for every five lunch specials you buy, you get five free wings. I'm not sure if they're still offering it for 2016, but it's definitely a good value on top of the already low lunch special price. There was only one instance where we had any sort of problem with our service and it was resolved. Like Ashley, we had a bad experience with our hostess. We asked if there was a booth available and she told us "no," and flatly and rudely told we should "sit at the bar if [we]" want faster service. We said we were fine with waiting for a table, which we were later told were eight or nine available. The hostess again recommended we set at the bar in the same dry, rude manner, and told us that we'd have to wait 15 minutes. We told the manager about the situation. Apparently it wasn't the first issue with this particular hostess, as we were told customers had complained about this employee's dry and thoroughly nasty attitude earlier in the day. She was sent home, and we were promptly seated and received the same great service we get. It's the only time we've had any sort of issue with a hostess, and the manager solved it for us quickly and professionally. I used to go here ALL of the time! Until they changed management. Prices are steep and they don't really accommodate you when it comes to watching your games. They prefer to play music while important sporting events are being aired. I much preferred the other options in Hilliard. Average Joes and Nastys are definitely better options. Also there are always lots of children there. I always thought it was hypocritical of places like this to serve booze while the kids are running around playing video games. Awful Awful Awful. I've slowly watched BW3 decimated from a trendy growing cool sports bar into an absolute dump. Well, this was my last visit to any of their restaurants, and I use the word restaurant loosely. Their wings are tiny. The service is snail-like. (Does it really take 55 minutes to deep fry some sh*tty chicken? This particular location was grossly understaffed on a Saturday night- (Hmmmm Saturday nights with a lot of sports on TV may make our location busier then a Tuesdsay at 11:30 AM. Maybe we should staff up???) Our waiter had 8 LARGE tables all by himself- he was actually very nice and trying his a** off. But one man can only do so much. The manager in charge was grossly unqualified to do any type of damage control. This was the last trip for me to this or any crap hole. Luckily for the denizens of south Hilliard, a Roosters is opening just a half mile up the road. I'll see you there. read more

WHEN they get your order right, the food is really good... But that's only about 50% of the time. The most recent three carryout visits... 1) ordered a single patty burger, with pepper Jack cheese. Somehow, NO cheese on the burger, but melted on the potato wedges instead...2) asked for the same as #1, got American cheese, which wife is allergic to...(could have put this info in the "extra directions" for the burger, but it only allows 18 characters!), 3) ordered a burger... I went in to pick it up... The total was a lot less than expected. Apparently, THEY RAN OUT OF BURGERS... Employee says, "oh, did they not tell you that?" Um, NO, we were not told that. Meh. I visit this place much more often than it deserves but it is a great location for UFC/sporting events. Food is good but never great. Service varies widely from outstanding to indifferent. I wrote the gm once about my lackluster service and he responded with a gift card and a promise of change but I haven't really seen anything different. Food is the same as all other BW3s. read more

This is my third time to this location. I've been to BWW many times and they were fairly consistent so it was a good spot for lunch and close to work. This particular location has let me down a little. I can say that the manager was super nice and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. We ordered the fried pickles as we usually do and we got way less than normal and they were extra greasy. The chicken wings were much bigger than normal and much fattier. I don't know if they started using a different brand of chicken or if it was just the batch we got, but I didn't like it at all. The service was really good up until the fifteen minute wait to get the check and then pay. The first two times the service was really good too. I know the waitress and the manager have nothing to do with the things I complained about so maybe next time the food will be better and the service will still be good. So we eat here at least 2 x a year sometimes more often. We were there on Mother's Day and holy cow it was the worst exp I've had at a Buffalo Wild Wings since they became full service. We waited over an hour for our food. (We had time to play 2 full countdown games and then some which is how we knew it was getting to be ridiculous long wait). The food was fine other than one order of chicken was cold we had no time to send it back since at this point it was getting late for our kids. Server was good despite being unable to find at times otherwise kept drinks filled got our box and check in timely manner. I have to say if this was our first experience at this location we would never return. But we are giving the benefit of doubt since this has never happened before. We've been coming here with friends for a few weeks to play trivia. We're always served promptly in the bar but the servers are hit or miss when it comes to refilling drinks (especially non-alcoholic drinks) and some are definitely more attentive than others. But the beer selection is good, we enjoy trivia (even though the host sometimes pulls his information from outdated sources or messes us scoring or question-posing), and the food is ok albeit overpriced. I do appreciate the facelift in the bar especially the new chairs and TVs. read more

I am going to be completely honest here.... I usually am with reviews anyways but I'll be brutally honest instead of the nice person. WORST PLACE EVAR! We went in about an hour before they closed, never in my life have I been here or to any of them, they were about the only place still open other than fast food... So we go in they say sit anywhere... great... not. Almost every table was dirty. We find a table in the back corner it happens to be under a vent even more lovely. To top it off our table was wobbly as hell, so I ask the waitress if there were any less wobbly tables, she shook about 3 others and well they were all wobbly then makes the comment, All these tables are wobbly not sure why they just are. The coleslaw tasted like it was sitting in a moldy fridge for weeks it was horrible. The shrimp were salty and almost burnt. The chicken was dried out on half of it, the other half was fine, the french fries were well french fries the only unsalted thing on my plate it seemed. Service was slow, and very just plain, no smile, no hi how are you tonight, no zip or zing. I used to be a server, it doesn't matter if it's your 1st table or your last, you always put on your best for them if you want good tips, the girl is lucky I even left a tip. The price of the food vs the quality of it is seriously off. The only reason this place gets 2 stars... the sauce. I ordered the hottest sauce available, usually when I do that at any place it's this mediocre lukewarm spice they actually delivered on spice. My ultimate thoughts on this place... Avoid it like the plague. You may love beer and sports with some wings, you'd be better off going to your local bar they not only have friendly service but usually better tasting and better quality food. read more
