I had a bit of my brother's takeout from Wings and Rings one night and I liked their wings. So now I've added WaR to my go-to wings place. Buffalo wings are outstanding. We also got the wings in Korean sauce and the Korean shrimp with a Caesar salad. Other than Roosters, I will go to WaR for Buffalo wings. My wife and daughter liked the Korean wings and the Korean shrimp. They were ok but I would stay with the Buffalo wings. I always get carry out when I'm in the area. Could be as was a holiday, went in about 130 pm on Memorial day, only bar side with tall tables and booths open, luckily we were able to get into a booth, we have mobility and size issues. One waitress working the floor, she did ok, we got the Caulifour app, wasnt described as spicy, had a bit more heat than was comfortable. I got a wrap, it was very good, my wife got the Korean b0oneless wings. Again the description was lacking as the heat was a bit uncomfortable. My soda was kept filled, waitress was very helpful in doing the app for a free app. Service was a tad slow but due to understaffing, a management issue not the waitress. The wings itself were fine. No issues there. The thing that kind of killed it for me was the insaneee amount of sauce. I know I know, too much sauce isn't a bad thing....but it definitely felt like it in this instance. There was a pool of sauce at the bottom of each bowl and each wing was dripping. I was wiping each wing off and was still overwhelmed. So, if you like sauce, you certainly won't be disappointed here! My boyfriend got a margarita, but said it tasted cheap. We had a variety of flavors and they were all good - we had the lemon pepper rubbed wings, the garlic parmesan wings, medium buffalo wings, the honey bbq wings, which would all be worth ordering again. The onion rings were really really good - order the appetizer version instead of the side order with the wings - way better value... We dined in well after dinner rush and well before closing. Our food finally arrived, although cold, over 50 minutes after I had to bring it to the managers attention. No attention from our server for refills or to check in. They all seemed to be blaming each other for their failure even trying to throw a poor trainee under the bus. After all was over, they only had us pay for a beer, coke, and appetizer. Ultimately if I lived in the area I would never bring my family back here. The sauces at Buffalo Wings & Rings are some of my favorites. The chicken (whether it's the wings, boneless wings or tenders) are all great. Something that really stands out to me is the quality of the chicken and how it's cooked. My stomach is often sensitive to fried food and that is typical because of the oil or beef fat that the chicken is cooked in. I have NEVER had a bad experience with the food I eat here and had to ask what stands out with the way they cook the chicken.... the answer....they cook the chicken in canola oil. This is a higher quality oil then you get in many fried chicken places. Also, as of this review, this location is currently going through a bit of a remodel and well needed clean up. With a little TLC to this building and continuing with the great food, I'm hopeful this place will continue to grow and be around for many years to come. read more

Our server admitted it was her first shift working at this place, but did a good job overall. the food was good but was very disappointed in my MVP grilled chicken sandwich. The piece of chicken was so little it caused me to ask about it. Was told that since it was grilled and not fried, it looked smaller. I had a difficult time buying that excuse. This was my first time in house but it my first time having their food. To be honest I haven't come in house because I was "meh" with the food I had had in the past. Started off with the pretzel bites (cause they are my favorite appetizer by far). When they came out I was worried because they looked as if they were drenched in oil, having an orangish tint to them. I was pleasantly surprised. They were warm, fresh, crispy and spongy all in one. The cheese needed some flavor. If it weren't for the cilantro, jalapeño or whatever the red stuff was it would be completely bland. I also needed the salt from the pretzels to make it pop. The burger was dry and lacking toppings but the onion rings were perfect although skimpy in portion. Wings, also dry. They were chewy and hard to get down even with all of the sauce. On top of that I was disappointed that the heat of the sauce completely nullified the Parmesan garlic. I could see the amount of parm on the wings but everything was completely overtaken by the hot sauce. If I would have known they were just adding Buffalo sauce I would have kept them plain. And to make it worse it wasn't even spicy. The only thing that made this trip ok was the size of the wings and the service. Other than that, again I was "meh" with the food. Over this location is pretty solid. I usually order on DoorDash, and it can be a little hit or miss texture wise, but that's what ya get with DoorDash. The sauces and rubs here are top notch! The wings have good flavor i like to get mines well done, because if you don't they are a little soft and i like mine little crispy. I also love the buffalo chicken nachos but this time they put a little to much hot sauce on the chicken but other than that still was good. To me they have some of the best nachos around. Make sure to get blue cheese it's one of the best I've had. Nearly ten minutes went by and a waitress brought food to a table next to ours. She stood and flirted and joked for several minutes then walked past us as if we weren't there. I called her back and asked if she was going to take our order,and she said yea I'll be back. She walked up to the bar and laughed and joked with a guy. After another ten minutes of waiting she took our drink orders. She never brought them too us. She stood at the bar and talked to the same guy for several minutes so we left. Never again. The fish was almost burned--the coating was very dark brown instead of golden. It didn't taste burned, and was okay. Didn't like that there was no option for selecting tartar sauce for the fish. The onion rings were almost too crunchy and scratched my gums a few times, ouch. They, too, were okay. The chicken wings I had were very basic--the fried naked wings with no sauce.
