This is a small hole in the wall on Hilliard Rome Rd avross from Roosters. In general, I like to sipport local but the restaurant has to be good enough for me to return. Sadly, Roadhouse Wings and Grill was not. The place was dark and did NOT scream "Recently cleaned" but still I stayed and ate. And I dont think they had the heat on at all. The dining room was freezing. Iate with my coat on. The good news is that their meny was surprisingly large and they offer weekday lunch specials. We met friends there on a Friday for lunch. Our friend ordered lunch wings with lemon pepper sauce and fries and she ordered an italian sub with fries. Hubs ordered wings with medium buffalo sauce. He ate them and said it was fine but not enough that he wants to return. I prefer a dry rub over wet sauce on my wings so I ordered the lunch italian sub also. The fries were good. We had a bad experience with the manager boss or who ever she claimed to be. I felt like we were harassed when we brought in our service dog that we showed our license and was on a leash and she questioned our dog getting up when My husband went to the men's room. She thought we were leaving and I told her to laid down. Now the dog was lying down the whole time she came over and never moved. She asked Where her vest was if she was a service dog. This is a nice little restaurant located in a strip mall. It has a small dining area and an adequate amount of parking that it shares with the other businesses in the strip mall that it is located. The dining area has a couple of televisions. They had sports playing when I was there. The staff was friendly, patient, and very helpful. They have a typical pub menu with subs, chicken sandwiches, salads and of course wings. They were bragging so much on their wings, I just had to try them. I went with 5 Jamaican Jerk BBQ wings and 5 teriyaki. I got boneless chicken (AKA chicken tenders) for the littles. It took about 15 minutes for us to get our food. The wings were the size of a baby's fist. They were good. I would say average to above average. They came in bowls and were drenched in the sauces I selected. Trust me, a half-basket is all you'll need for two people. A full basket will feed the entire table. The prices were very fair, especially for the portion size. Cheap beer prices, too. The wings here are spectacular. The first few were naked because there was an issue with how they were sauced. Once I sauced them with what was at the bottom of the back, it was a different story. The wings were the length of chicken strips and were generally good except a few wings were a little tough or dry. The buffalo flavor was as good as can be, but they were not as spicy as the "hot" designation would suggest. The fried pickles were tasty with a light breading that let the pickle spear shine. The accompanying sauce was a simple yet effective ranch. I had the lunch special of 8 boneless wings, in their house sauce (as the menu says, just General Tso's sauce.) They were meaty and done just right; the sauce was the usual- sweet, tangy, a little zip. I added a small order of regular wings with sriracha sauce- it didn't have much heat, but it was tasty too. The wings themselves were crispy and meaty. Added celery and blue cheese- $1 more, but there was a ton of celery so it felt worth it. I don't know. The wings are good but not great.
