Buffalo Wild Wings is a great place to enjoy sporting events with food and drinks. They often show the UFC pay per views here. We tried the house sampler which includes nachos, mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, and onion rings. I'm a fan of the wings especially the bourbon and Parmesan Italian flavors. The other sides were ok but the wings were my favorite. The nachos were good as well. The chips were crispy and had a good amount toppings including shredded chicken. Next time, I'll stick to order just the wings though. They have a large menu of drinks which were all good but on the sweet side for my taste. We will be back for the next UFC event. read more

BWW is BWW. Low rating because my chicken wasn't seasoned good although it was very good. My onion rings were stuck together like they were frozen and just fried and didn't care. I was going to give this a better rating but the waitress really made my finally decision. I wish I got her name. Anyway,I had a $25 giftcard and I also gave cash. The waitress took our check walked to go do it, not sure what happened but she didn't process the check, she came back to us with the cash in her hand and asked "do you need change?" I was so confused. I told her "yes we do" Then she looked at my boyfriend and asked him the same thing, like she wanted a different answer, "did you need change sir?" And he was even more confused and looked at me, I told him "now she's asking you if you need change" and he said "ohhh yeah, yes please". We were soooo confused! THAT WAS SOOO RUDE. We were shocked with how she did that to us. To even except us to let her keep the change! I know she wanted us to say "keep the change" because she not only asked ME, after I said I WANT THE CHANGE she went ahead and asked my boyfriend too! But the fact that she really had the audacity to ask for it TWICE. Was beyond me. She came back with our cash change and NO RECEIPT. Potato wedges with queso were tasty, but it's not clear where we should place our order and most of the staff will just stare at you as you wait around for the person who's supposed to help you to show up to the post without trying to expedite the wait in any way. It's too dark in there and they need to be more mindful of marketing so people know what they're eating or would like to eat. Displaying a menu outside or right inside would really be helpful for passersby to get some idea of what is available and the pricing. There's a sign that says buy one wings and get one free but no indication of how much one wings costs. They need to try harder to be more appealing and service-oriented rather than working for themselves. read more

On Sunday February 8, at 1:17 p.m., I made my order with BWW through Door Dash. It was a rainy and very windy day and decided to ride my bike over to pickup the order. I figure deliver would take forever. Wrong! After getting there and waiting and waiting...I asked the hostess (several times) about my order. I was told: "It's Superbowl Sunday. Please be patient. There's like a million people here." Those were her LITERAL WORDS to me. I had to wait OUTSIDE in the windy, chilly rain for my order. When TWO HOURS went by and still no food - I was furious. I asked them again about my order to only be asked to be patient. I called Door dash and they literally had to call the restaurant and speak to the unprofessional Manager. They told Doordash that my order couldn't "be found." After TWO HOURS this was unacceptable business practice. If they couldn't find my order then why was I previously told to please "be patient" due to the high volume of patrons due to Superbowl? Instead of verifying anything, I was led to believe my order was being worked on. I even received notices from Doordash saying my order was ready. So something is wrong and fraudulent that BOTH parties (BWW and Doordash) gave the impression my order was being processed. This is unacceptable as I could have gotten ill by sitting in the rain! Not only that but I left with no food despite my card being charged. That location at Ala Moana is HORRIBLE! Always making some kind of mistake but this one was the worst! When you take people's money, but then lie to them by convincing them to STAY and SIT IN THE RAIN (because there was no other space) is highway robbery, dishonest and unprofessional!!!! Service was bad, slow and inconsistent. The gist of it was we got there seated at 6:30- Service is so slow we ended up leaving at 8:40PM and we didn't even order much. Our Server was no where to be found. They also forgot about our food and our drinks took forever. We didn't even get utensils or napkins or no offer of water. Tables all around us from previous customers weren't clean. They definitely need to hire a busser because about 7 tables would be extremely dirty for a long period of time. Business is located at Ala Moana Center near Target on 3rd floor. My 2 friends and I went here for lunch. My 1 friend had an American burger and ordered onion rings. My other friend had cauliflower wings which was super spicy. She had it with rice so it wasn't hot for her. My order was buffalo tater tots with blue cheese with no spice. Tater tots were crisp and so filling that I only ate half. On my next visit, i would like to try the chicken wings. Male server was knowledgable with answer my question. not sure why this BWW is rated so low. we had a good experience and enjoyed the food. it's obviously not the best, but what do you expect from a chain like this? we got ultimate nachos which were surprisingly filling. the boneless wings we got were super salty so they don't skimp on flavor lol. we also ordered a regular fries on the side which were tasty and seasoned but kind of small for the price. I think in general I prefer a dry parm garlic seasoning over a wet sauce. this one was kind of sour?? weird. service was a little slow for how empty it seemed inside. we waited quite a while to get our food and to pay the check. anyway bww is always reliable if you just want a place to sit and watch sports with decent food. read more

I have always passed by this place whenever I walked around Ala Moana but was never hungry at the time. I decided to go for the first time on Friday night with one of my girlfriends. I have to say, I was kind of disappointed. The hostess was okay. We got seated quickly but didn't seem that friendly. The server was very nice but he hardly checked in on us. Our waters never got refilled. I would've asked for more water but he was nowhere to be found and there were no other servers around to ask. We ordered sides of carrots & celery. It never came! The lady delivering the food told us she was going to check on the carrots...But I think she forgot. I had to ask our server to take out the charge for our carrots & celery. The place wasn't that crowded so I was confused as to why the food was taking so long. Luckily me and my girlfriend were talking about a lot of things to pass the time. But we were getting hungry. When the food finally came, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the American burger and the patty was pretty salty. I usually like salty but it was salty even for me. The fries were good though. Could be because we sat near the entrance and they leave their door open so AC goes out. Service was slow from the beginning. Ordered a beer, Diet Coke and some wings, which took forever. Asked for waters, only gave us one cup. Didn't even give a chilled glass for the beer. Had to chase the waitress down for the check, but couldn't find her so someone else helped. Never asked us at any point if we wanted to order more drinks even though it was clear that we were finished with the first round. Extremely slow, unattentive, apologized for the "wait" twice, with no follow up service. Mind you - it didn't seem like they were understaffed and it was NOT busy. A group of five of us spent about three hours watching the basketball playoffs. We were really impressed with the experience--great drink specials ($5 for 22oz Coors Light, $4 Jameson), plenty of TVs, strong AC, and surprisingly fast and friendly service even during a busy afternoon. Honestly, we were puzzled by the low ratings this location has received. It ended up being one of the better BWWs we've visited, and we even joked about making this our new go-to spot instead of our usual bar because the prices were so much better. Unfortunately, we think we found the reason behind the low reviews. Toward the end of our visit, the manager on duty approached us in a very abrupt and rude manner, telling us that our service dog needed to be on the floor and not on our lap. The dog had been silent and motionless the entire time--almost three hours without a single issue. We informed him that it was a service animal, and his response was, "It doesn't matter, the dog needs to be on the floor." We tried to understand why this was being addressed now, after we had already been there for hours without any concerns from the hostess, our original server, or the server who took over during the shift change. But the manager remained short and dismissive, which led us to ask for the check and leave. Our server was clearly embarrassed by the situation and apologized to us sincerely. It's unfortunate that one interaction--especially one that could've been handled with more empathy or even a simple conversation--completely soured what had been a great time. We understand there's a lot of skepticism around service animals these days, but if the manager had simply asked or shown a little curiosity, we could've explained why the dog was positioned where he was, or even moved to a lower table if needed. There were no posted signs about pet or service animal policies--just a sign advertising that they serve rice. BWW should really consider retraining staff on how to appropriately handle service animal situations, because others might not have handled it as calmly as we did. We left around 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 26th. We have the name of the manager but calling someone out personally in a review is just poor character. We'll leave it at that and move on. Ever since Islands Burgers closed, it left a void in our hearts. For sometime we wanted to dine on burgers. So when Joseph suggested about this place, we said why not? Buffalo Wild Wings falls into the category of sports bar. It reminds me of the now defunct All Star Cafe in NYC. Upon entering we needed to do a temperature check and the check-in. All around Buffalo Wild Wings, huge screens have been set up to feature sports such as figure skating, basketball, and football for that evening. Being a sports centered facility, Buffalo Wild Wings gives a nod to wrestling by installing a cage like fixture above the bar. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come. The Southern Black Bean Burger tasted a bit on the spicy and salty side. The fries tasted a bit too crunchy and falls on the salty side. I needed to drink more water to clear the salt for my mouth. Buffalo Wild Wings can be a fun chain, especially when locations are well cared for. The old one in Waikiki wasn't great; it has since been replaced with this new location at Ala Moana Centre on the top level near the entrance to Target. There is a ton of free parking in the roof area for easy access to the bar without going through the mall itself. I finally stopped in to try a new beer I saw friends have, the Wild Herd Kolsch from Goose Island, which is their exclusive house beer for $3 large pints. It was genuinely good, well worth the price. Our bartender Kathryn was super attentive and friendly all evening. The bar/restaurant has high ceilings with sports memorabilia and huge TVs showing an array of live events both from the USA and around the world. I assume you could request any game you'd like. The menu is mostly chicken and fried food - we didn't have any on this visit but food on tables looked good. Overall it's a cheap place to escape to for a drink; they have a ton of local beer options as well, which is always a plus. My second beer glass was visibly dirty, which isn't a good thing and needs improvement. read more

The place wasn't packed at all. We went with coworkers to celebrate a birthday and during lunch they have unreal lunch specials. I decided on not getting my fingers and face dirty but still get down to business and I ordered the southern chicken sandwich. Can I say I was so pleasantly surprised as to how moist and not overly breaded this sandwich was. You can change your order to other sides for $1 more so I changed regular fries to onion rings. Again, pleasantly surprised they don't coat theirs with thick breadcrumbs but the nice beer batter leaving the onion rings smooth and crispy. The sandwich came with a nice aioli and pickles!! It was perfect. I don't drink soda so I skipped the free drink but my meal was $13 ($1 more for the switch so $12 if you order plain fries). The service was impeccable. I wish I had the server's name but she is a sweet blonde girl with lots of spunk and patience. She was happy and cheerful the whole time and not so much that it's annoying. It was genuine kindness. It's open during COVID, which is great. However, the waiting time is less than stellar. We were told that we would wait 10-15 minutes, okay that's fair. But when you wait 30 minutes and have seen at least five parties leave and see many tables that need to be cleaned, there's a disconnnect. Maybe they're short-staffed right now, but I always appreciate the honesty if the wait time is longer than the said time. That way, I can go check out other eateries if they're backed up. But our server was checking on tables when passing. I ordered the House Sampler and 30 wings. House Sampler was ok, it's simple bar food. I wasn't too keen on the nachos. The cheese wasn't nacho cheese or queso. It's shredded cheese melted under a salamander with limited toppings. And Limited I mean, let's use the smallest spoon to portion out the salsa and refried beans and then drizzle the dish with watery sour cream. At least the three slices of jalapeños added some flavor. When the wings arrived, I told everyone at the table to wait. First I had to figure out what wings were covered with what sauce. And faithful readers know, I count my chicken nuggets so you know I'm going to count my wings. Well after I got the attention of my server, we figured out what was what and WHAT I WAS MISSING!!! I visit this location (Ala Moana) quite frequent because we enjoy watching sports and eating chicken wings. But my visit today must have been my worst ever. Usually the service is decent, but today our waitress never came to our table to offer a refill on any of our drinks. I sat there with my family, eating an early dinner and enjoyed only ONE beer, my kids, no water or soda refill. We were there to watch the Football game and World Series. Stayed roughly about 2.5 hours and only had ONE beer. I could have easily downed 3-4 beers in that amount of time. Possibly more if we were having a good time. But the service was really bad. I tried to stop our waitress but she zoomed by our table so fast I don't think she even heard me call her or she just tuned us out for some reason. ‍ Worse customer service ever! Went in this afternoon for lunch with a group of friends. It's wasn't busy at all, and we were seated right away. When the guy came, he explained the menu to us, then shared that he was the only guy working tables. We felt so bad for him. But he had so much energy and he was on it! He checked in on all the tables, our food came out quick, and made sure that we were satisfied. I ordered the $14 lunch special of 10 traditional wings (Parmesan and Asian Zing) all flats, and it came with fries and a drink. Then also got appetizers, fried pickles and loaded nachos. Everything came out super fast, considering they were short handed. My wings were hella yum, I couldn't even finish it all. Then the appetizers were good.
