I've tried an assortment of flavors all over the spice spectrum, from sweet BBQ to lemon pepper (that's a dry rub) to hot BBQ, mango habañero, and blazin. The spice here is no joke, be prepared with lots of ranch/blue cheese/celery/carrots/napkins/water if you venture into the orange/red part of the spice spectrum. One problem I have is that it's hard to tell from the menu how many wings/sauces you can get from each order, I just know you get 9 wings of up to 2 sauces in the small order. The sampler also came with 4 pieces mozzarella sticks, onion rings, nachos with toppings. All were very tasty and delightful. For the main course, we ordered the large size wings with 4 dipping on the side. The sauce we ordered were mango habanera, Thai ginger, Asian zing, and honey bbq. My favorite was the Asian zing, but if you can handle spice then I'd recommend the mango habanera. It is spicy, but the smoky taste is delightful. At the recommendation of our server, I selected the Garlic Honey sauce . I give a 5 star rating on the sauce, 5 star on the fries, but only a 2 star rating on the chicken sandwich because the breading was extremely dry and tough! My husband had the Classic Chicken sandwich with fries and it was overcooked the same way, so 2 stars. He also ordered the Blazin Carolina Reaper sauce for his sandwich -- HUGE mistake! He loves hot sauce but this stuff was 5 alarm (killed his tastebuds and caused his eyes to tear up). We had some money left over on our gift card so we decided to order the 15 pc Traditional Wings. I chose the Spicy Garlic sauce for them - BAD idea! The presentation did not look appetizing at all, the skin was not crispy, and the flavor was pretty awful. After having a HORRIBLE experience in Linden BWW, we are so happy to say that this place deserves 10 stars. Quick, efficient service. Our waitress was new, AND it is Football Sunday; yet the service today is absolutely perfect and pleasant. Unlike the Linden location, we were greeted with fast, friendly service. Our waitress, and the manager came by to check on us. Drinks were delivered promptly, food came out fast and delicious. Aside from the noise and the games on every TV, we would never have known that this was a busy football Sunday. This Buffalo Wild Wings was the first branch of the franchise I had ever been to. The chain seems to have exploded recently with two branches opening within 20 minutes drive of my home in Elizabeth. Like the branch in Linden this restaurant features tons of screens showing sports and sports related talk shows and a full bar with some restaurant seating. It's really quite the sensory overload if you don't hang out in bars. I went to this restaurant the first month it was open, and you'd think there would be a ton of kinks to still work out in terms of food and service, but no. The staff had their act together like the place had been open for years. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. My drink was refreshed often without me even having to ask and everyone was super pleasant. I had the boneless wings with the Parmesan garlic sauce and it was really tasty. It seems unfashionable to actually enjoy something in a chain gastropub, but in all honestly I would totally order the dish again. I also had a turkey burger which was still most when served (you'd be surprised how often restaurants dry them out). We showed up to watch WVU and at first the bartender explained they couldn't put on the game because it wasn't on one of their "pre-programmed" channels. Poor thing didn't understand you could just change the channel for one of the TVs. We politely asked for the manager, who put on our game in 5 seconds flat, so we won't hold her naivete against this establishment. Right next to an interesting li shaped bank and another restaurant which I will remain nameless at this point, you can make your way into one of the busiest Buffalo Wild Wings that I find in my travels. Parking can become a nuisance at times as there are multiple items all in the same area, and the Buffalo Wild Wings is right by a major entrance and exit into the whole shopping Plaza. Laid out a little differently from most Buffalo Wild Wings if you make your way through the front entrance you will immediately step into the bar area which offers a 180-degree bar with multiple tvs and bar stools and small bar stool tables. To the right of that will find the restaurant area for when you have a larger group of four or more to sit down and order some of the great food at Buffalo Wild Wings has to offer, frequently purchasing many appetizers and making that into the meal on multiple occasions in our travels with Buffalo Wild Wings. To the left and they now offer a slightly outside kind of restaurant area as well which during the seasons appropriate is either open or closed, allowed for more space and a different feel away from most of the TVs they will find floating around the Buffalo Wild Wings area. Food options going beyond their appetizer plate usually consists of bar sandwiches and of course the Buffalo Wild Wings themselves. On this occasion we decided to take on the hot wing challenge which consist of eating 12 of their hottest wings, with no water and no stop within 10 minutes. It is not something I would recommend, as I was unable to one finish it, granted though I am NOT a major lover of spicy foods. Unable to turn down a good challenge though we choke on this seemingly foolish endeavor regardless of the pain that came following for the next good half hour with in my mouth. Much like many restaurants these days they offer the pint-sized glass as well as a tall glass of beer if you're looking to drink a little more without having to necessarily order as often.
