I visited the Elwood Buffalo Wild Wings location, and the service was absolutely disgraceful and pathetic. From the moment we were seated, no forks or napkins were provided, and our server never even introduced herself. We ordered fried pickles and an alcoholic drink, and neither one was ever brought out. My spouse's food took 40 minutes to come out, and mine arrived 30 minutes after his, which left me sitting there watching him eat while still waiting on my own meal. Even after his food arrived, we still had no napkins or forks. To make matters worse, after we finished eating, we asked for our ticket and to-go boxes, and that took an additional 25 minutes. We arrived at 8:00 and didn't leave until after 10:00, which is absolutely insane for this kind of dining experience. What made the situation even worse was that the waitress clearly saw we were upset and never once checked on us, asked if we needed anything, or seemed to care at all. The food itself was delicious, but it does not make up for the horrible service. We drove an hour to come here because we love Buffalo Wild Wings, especially since the Houma, LA location closed, but after this experience we will never be eating at this location again. I was recently hired here as a server. Half the wait-staff is not trained. I fought to get through 5 days of training and while I was being trained there are servers who told me they were never trained...and they were training me. The manager Jackie told me I nitpick too much and complained about everything? I didn't complain about anything except one of the servers intentionally bumped into me because she was leaving her personal food items and Smoothie King drinks from next door in the dining room at the cash registers and I moved them to a table to be out of the way. She should have bumped into me and I should not have complained? Management sucks. And on top of it (why I got fired tonight) a table told me they wanted (fifteen) wings. I heard (fifty) wings and I read the order verbally back to the table. They confirmed by saying, "Yes that's what we ordered." I rang the wings in and other items in and once I brought their food out they said, "Uhm...we only ordered 15 wings." I apologized and I took the wings from the table and to the kitchen to tell Jackie I made a mistake and the table only wanted 15 wings, not 50.. Jackie served the wings to the other guests even though JACKIE SAID, "Once food items touch the table you CANNOT serve them to any other guests. No exceptions!" Good service is lacking at this location. My friend and I were seated and waited almost 20 minutes to even be greeted (came on a Saturday when most restaurants are busy). Our server apologized profusely once she did greet us. She stated that she was on her break (so why does the hostess seat people in sections where servers are on a break?). I ordered the new Bird Dawgs (chicken tender hot dog). Got one Honey BBQ and one Buffalo. The Honey BBQ I would not order again due to just an odd combo of ingredients (honey bbq sauce, ranch, fries, and coleslaw). The Buffalo dawg was good though. I had the triple dip and chips appetizer, the traditional wing with original buffalo sauce and the side salad. The salad was ok, it was just a salad; nothing special. The salsa was thick and tasted more like tomato sauce than salsa. The queso was very good and the guacamole was very tasty. The tortilla chips were very thick and not very good. The wings were the only thing that saved them from a lower rating. The staff was very friendly and polite, my server was on the ball. Service was excellent and the wait for my food was minimal. Despite being a high class sports bar it was family friendly. If you like good wings this is your place. Prices are reasonable. read more

Hi y'all first of all I hate to do bad reviews but even the waiter said ( this place sucks) so not a good start, so ordered a drink with food and got drink quickly so 1 hour later waiter asked us what we ordered , ( hangry) I told my wife we're leaving I went to pay for drinks and leave but we stood at register for 30 more minutes to leave my wife walked out I left a 10 and left ... this is a must avoid at all costs . We initially sat down at TWO dirty tables in the bar area before finding a clean booth. The men's restroom was a disaster. Does anyone clean inside this place? I didn't notice any employees or bussers throughout the restaurant clean anything. The fried food is lackluster and the wings were pretty dry for having a sauce. I enjoy the amount of TVs throughout for watching Western Conference Finals but otherwise we won't come back. Service= TERRIBLE! Waitress had maybe one other table in her section and took FOREVER to get our drinks literally took 15 minutes after being seated for her to take our drinks literally took order. This is all based off of the service. If the service was good I'd give this full experience a 4 star. But when you can't even walk into the place without a mask and once you put one on and you see that same person walking around with hers off it's very disrespectful. Upon my arrival I was not greeted at all. They had 2 ladies standing in the back of the restaurant just looking at everyone coming in. Never said a word to be and another lady that walked in. Then 2 more ladies came from the back kitchen and didn't otter a word neither. Never said someone is gonna be with you, how can I help you? NOTHING! As if I wasn't even standing there. The young that handle takeout orders finally arrived and didn't say she was sorry for my wait. Now on to the food. The wing was very bland, and tough. They had VERY little flavor at at. Ya know, I went there with an open mind and they staff made us feel comfy safe and treated us well. We randomly stopped by not knowing if there was a wait or not but it wasn't bad at all. There's parking outside of the building and plenty in front as well. They are practicing Covid friendly guidelines. So mask up!! My husband just had a horrible experience. Just for reference I used to work this locations a few years back and management would've never allowed this type of service so must be all new people. My husband went to pick up a Togo order today and it wasn't ready until 40 minutes after it said on the order confirmation it'll be ready. Then he asked for extra seasoning on the side and was told it has to be ordered online or he'd have to wait behind all the other people to rung up again....after waiting a 40 extra minutes for our food. Once he got the food only our wings were in the bag nothing else and when he asked where the rest of his order was he was told that's his whole order. Needless to say we won't be back until service is better. UPDATE: order is incorrect. 3 regular fries instead of 3 large, and one is missing cheese and bacon that cost extra as well. Why do I have to live by probably the worst BWW I've ever experienced. I take it back the worst. Because of all the other locations I haven't given up on BWW. There is just something about this location that they can't get it straight. They'll randomly choose nights that they decide they're dine in only. There's hardly ever a lot of people in there I feel like every time I walk in there's only maybe four or five tables full. They're missing out on so much money by stopping takeout. I just don't get it and it's so sad because I love your restaurants I could legit eat wings every day of the week especially yours. But I hate this location with a passion. Said she would get fired for accepting my ID.. Extremely disappointed. Went in yesterday 8/9 to place a catering order after calling all day and getting voicemail. Was told I had to place catering order online. Placed catering order online yesterday 8/9 to pick up today 8/10. Arrived today 8/10 at 6:13 order was suppose to be ready at 6:10. I was told my order was made last night 8/9 , I was a "no show", the order was thrown away and I was charged. Pulled up order invoice with date of 8/10, today, not yesterday when order was made and I was considered a "no show" despite order date of 8/10 and order was made on 8/9. Waited 45 minutes for food to be made. Not one employee apologized. Then handed three large tray of hot wings and was told they did not have any bags to hold my order so I had to ask for napkins to hold so my hands wouldn't burn. Only received 2 of 4 dressings. Terrible customer service. Was suppose to receive a phone call from manager and never did. I will never order from here again. Spoke with Devonte GM, who called and apologized. He couldn't have been nicer and more understanding/helpful. It's ashame a complaint had to be filed but I am glad it was handled properly. read more
