I've been meaning to write this for awhile, been putting it off. But I went to this B-Dubs back when it had just arrived. Totally hyped to finally have one in town, one of my favorite places to eat in Gainesville and Orlando. So you can imagine how disappointed I was to just get assaulted by bad restaurant-ness left and right. Been waiting for this place to open for SO long and here's what we got: - A place so obnoxiously loud that we had to YELL to hear each other at our own table. I love sports bars. As I said, I love (other) B-Dubbs. There is something terribly wrong with the acoustics in this location. It's absolutely deafening on a busy day. - Wait staff that failed on multiple fronts: Slow refills, incorrect orders, nobody coming to check on us so we could TELL them the orders were incorrect, generally running around like chickens with heads cut off. - Management (management of a new restaurant that should, you know, give a damn about their grand opening) that sat around near the entrance, arms folded, watching the TVs and talking to each other about the games that were on. Never once did I see the old farts even bother to go to a table to ask how everything was. Amateur. Terrible. - Our salt/pepper shakers were literally stuck in their metal holder. Like, it was a defective unit from the factory. Three waiters tried to extract said shakers like I was watching some retarded version of The Sword in the Stone before they finally admitted they were stuck for good. - Overcooked chicken wings. Like, icing on the cake right there. Everything else can suck but can I get some okay wings? Nope. Dry, overdone wings for you, sir! This place is HORRIBLE. The waitress didn't come to our table but probably 2 times. Our food took about 35 minutes to come to our table. My food was cold, I asked for a new order of fries because of how cold they were. She's comes back out and you can tell they were thrown into a microwave. They were chewy and not fresh. My friend from Hawaii ordered a salad, asked for a fork 3 times, did not get a fork at all. Wings were very salty and just unappetizing to the human pallet. I love Buffalo Wild Wings, but this is probably one of the worst locations I've been to. The service is absolutely horrible and our waitress was very curt and rude. We were not given utensils, napkins or plates. I had to ask twice and was given with an attitude. Came on a weekday during lunch and there were only a few tables with customers, but we waited for 35+ minutes for our food. We were not given carrot or celery sticks while waiting, so it was very awkward for us since we were both very hungry. When the food arrived, it was warm, not hot! Doesn't seem like it was just made. Overall, the service and experience was awful! Another thing, the table was very sticky and I mean sticky! Asked if the waitress could clean it again, she told me to wait as she will get another person to clean it. And that person never showed up or she never told that person. I ended up taking one of those wipes and wiped the table again. Didn't help much and the booths were sticky as well. Wasn't pleasant at all! An amazing location with great management and a big heart. We were given the opportunity to fundraiser through their "eat wings, raise funds" program and not only was their hospitality warm and inviting, the experience we personally had with our food orders and service was exceptional. This establishment is SUPER unprofessional. There is a "manager" named Mike who is ABSOLUTELY disrespectful. He was absolutely disrespectful to my mother when we were asking questions about the menu. He had the NASTIEST look on his face and treated us as if we were too dumb to understand. I also noticed how he treats certain employees as far as being WAY to friendly with the young ladies who seem to work there. We had a gentleman who was serving us who was absolutely amazing I believe his name started with a J but can't remember what his name fully is maybe josh or John. But, I'd remember his face if I saw him. He was as sweet as could be. He told us he was new to the store and to Florida and was absolutely a doll to have. But as far as the manager I wouldn't come back if I knew he was there. You walk in and his demeanor and face was like he was absolutely disgusted with us coming in. I almost thought he was giving us that look because we are heavier set ladies. If you come to this location I WOULDN'T if this gentleman is going to be in there because he is going to make you feel so Unwelcomed. As far as my server he was just a doll but the other workers there are loud and complain and cuss. The manager would sit on his phone at a booth as if we weren't even there and employees would have conversations with one another about things we shouldn't be hearing. Been here twice in the last couple weeks since I thought it might get better with staff experience. I was wrong. Waited too long to be seated. The place is always crazy crowded. It is very loud also. The atmosphere is neat for college game days. The service was very slow on both visits. Takes 15 minutes to get a beer. 30 minutes for an appetizer. The boneless tenders aren't tenders at all. They are more like big nuggets. Way to much crunchy breading on them also. I will stick with Hurricanes for my wings and beer, and Jensen Ale for other sports bar related food.
