My in-laws requested we join them for dinner and we were all pleasantly surprised at the quality. Unfortunately we have gotten in the bad habit of delivery services on nights we don't cook. I had forgotten how much better it is to eat here in person bc it's an experience and good food. I had low expectations for my country fried steak w eggs, well assumed it would be mid, but to my surprise it was so good. Our waitress, bless her heart I can't recall her name but she was great. We were there during dinner hours and the restaurant was empty while delivery orders were stacked on the counter. We need to bring back going in person to have a sit down dinner, even if it is Denny's. Family style eating is a lost art. Another thing I never considered, when I order delivery I always make sure to tip my driver well. But as I look around at the empty tables the other night, I realized there are servers there that need to make tips to support their family. Yeah I tip the driver but there is a server working to put together Togo orders and not being tipped. Next time we want to order Dennys I will insist we go in person (and everyone put their phone away!) Dinner conversations are a lost art. Go eat here. Our coworker was retiring. Since we work 12 hour night shifts, we needed a place that would be open by 0615. Also, kind of on our ways home. So we decided that we should come here. I called twice to let them know that we would have anywhere from 15 to 30 people and that we would start showing up at around 0615. I was told that a manager was informed and it was no problem. When I arrived at 0615, they had a bunch of tables lined up for us, with the understanding that they could add more if needed. Unfortunately, the only person's name I knew was Pat and she greeted me immediately. Long story short, Pat and her supervisor took great care of us. We had 28 people show up and Pat and her crew were awesome! We had a great time, were probably a little loud. But it was a nice breakfast celebration. Thank you Pat and your coworkers. Found a fly in my cold brew coffee, I'm pretty sure the waiter took it to the back and got me a new one ( she just dump it into a bigger cup and said we got a deal) I put a new straw in and swirl it and a another bug pop up. The base is old, brown, iceberg lettuce, including the heart, barely a sprinkle of cheese, a couple of grape tomatoes, and a whole lot of croutons. I took my daughter here for a late breakfast. We were sat right away no wait time, which was perfect. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. Ashley, our server took our drink order within minutes of us sitting down. That was awesome because my 5 year old daughter gets antsy.
