I don't mean to be judgemental or mean-spirited but if you want to feel slim, this is the place to dine. Everyone here was gigantic. You usually see this at all you can eat buffets but, it most assuredly was a pattern here! Ok, I said it, sorry if I offended anyone but, it was so overwhelming, I just had to mention it. It also was quite busy with a steady flow of guests coming and going our wait was supposed to be 30 minutes but actually ended up being 15 minutes. The Atmosphere: True to its name, Longhorn was decked out in a full western motif. It also featured country music for a soundtrack. Made me feel like I was back in Texas which, is not a bad thing for sure. The Service: Although not particularly chatty, our server was efficient and took care of our every wish. One negative, my lovely bride and I both ordered steaks and the server never asked how we wanted them cooked. The Food: My bride ordered a ribeye which was done to perfection. Her baked potato and Brussel Sprouts were also done just as well. I ordered a T-Bone, which was more medium than medium rare as ordered, was tough and my macaroni and cheese was baked and crispy (instead of creamy). However, my sweet potato was great. We shared a lava cake for dessert. Unfortunately, it was more cake and less lava than expected. Bottom Line: As with all my reviews, the "Customer So What" would I return? Hear me out!! I haven't been to LongHorns in years. Friends and I were out at the bookstore and were hungry after. Longhorns was right around the corner so we decided to just go there. Wasn't expecting anything great but damn was I impressed. Our server had been there for over a decade and you could tell how we talked about the menu and the way he presented himself to the tables. Food was just "ok". Used to be great. Service also just Ok. But the worst was the clientele. It would seem "The Hood" found Longhorn, so the lovely relaxing atmosphere is gone. It has been so last 3 visits at different locations. 15-20 Loud trash-mouth adults, raucous, uncontrolled children, and no care about anyone or anything around them & left unbelievable mess. For my first time trying LongHorn Steakhouse, this place was a blast of flavor. I was referred to this place by a close friend I am no longer in contact with. Ironically, my cousins enjoy this place, so they decided to treat us (my dad and me). I wish I had taken photos of my cousins' and dad's food, although when it arrived, they started to chow down. Upon arriving, we mentioned we had a reservation, and they were quick to seat us. However, we did not want to be seated where the food was coming out of the kitchen, as we did not want to possibly get burned or have food land on us. The staff was very understanding and nice enough to relocate us to a booth away from the table near the kitchen. The waitress was really kind to give us two loaves of bread with butter. She was quite patient when we were reviewing the menu as well. When we were ready, she appeared out of thin air, ready to serve us with a smile. One of my cousins ordered a burger with fries; my other cousin ordered a chicken meal with a baked potato and house salad that came with it. My dad ordered a burger and fries. My two cousins and Dad asked for "lightly salted fries and baked potato." However, I deducted a star since the fries where the opposite of lightly salted. Instead they where way to salty. This is huge coming from me since I enjoy salt haha. Besides this, my two cousins and dad all enjoyed the meals they ordered. My one cousin even needed a take-home box since the food was filling. Now, I, on the other hand, decided to be creative. I ordered a strawberry and pecan salad (side size) and the spicy chicken bites appetizer so I could combine both. Can we also talk about the huge food portions? I was certainly not expecting this from a side and appetizer. The fruity raspberry balsamic vinegar complemented the fresh fruit and salad. The spicy chicken bites were perfectly crunchy and tender. The spicy chicken bites were neither too spicy nor not spicy at all; they had a sweet, middle-ground, flavorful spice level. However, when you combine both the strawberry and pecan salad with the spicy chicken bites, you get a tasty, flavorful combination of the perfect sweet and spicy with just enough crunch. Talk about such a heavenly food coma delight! All the while, having daily check-ins from our very attentive waitress! Plus, the waitress and staff have some hidden menu items as well that they create or just previous items that were on the menu that the chefs are able to recreate which I thought was pretty cool. Our server was Natalie.L she didn't ask us if we want any refills on our drinks. She didn't ask us how our food was. She didn't ask if we wanted any extra bread? She didn't ask us if we wanted any dessert at all. My potato was very poor there. It was mashed potatoes that tasted a couple of days old so she brought another one out and the baked potato was old and I showed my husband the difference of the baked potatoes that he had that what they gave me. The old potato looks yellow on the inside on the sides the skin was hard as a rock. She wasn't a very nice server. She asked us if we wanted anything else. That's all. She said she brought her check over, set it down on her table and walked away. That was the poorest service I ever had in 27 years going there. She was working the bar. Her hair was up in a bun brown hair. She should not be working the tables because she's not friendly and she wasn't kind. I'm very disappointed with the T Bone I was served Yesterday. The service is always good, but the salty food is out of control. When you ask for medium done steak for $33 you want medium not well done. The chef needs to learn what medium means. And we the consumer has salt on the table. Had a dismal experience at Longhorn Jensen Beach. There were six of us in the party, and 3 of us had major issues with our food. One Flo's Filet was so fatty, my friend couldn't eat it, another ordered medium with no spices and got well done with spices. My steak was cold when it arrived at the table. They did remake the steaks, which was good, but this is the second time this group had a bad meal at Longhorn. And, the air conditioning was apparently broken in our section of the restaurant because it was miserably hot. As we left, it was obvious it was working elsewhere. We will NOT be back. read more

We went out for dinner last night and ordered soups and salads. The salad came out right away, but I waited at least 15 minutes for my soup. The waitress apologized and took it off the bill, which I appreciated, but when the soup finally arrived it was cold -- and right behind it came the entire table's entrees. I told them I didn't want my meal anymore because I wanted to eat with my family, not after they were already finished. The manager, Paul, came over and instead of listening, he decided to argue. I mentioned the soup was cold and he told me that was "impossible" because he took it out of the oven himself -- basically calling me a liar. My wife tasted it too. It was cold. I ended up not eating dinner at all, and we left. We've been regulars here for a long time and even know the GM, who is great. But this manager, Paul, was rude, unprofessional, and honestly a terrible representation of the restaurant. His attitude alone was enough to make us decide we'll be driving to Port St. Lucie from now on. Highly wouldn't recommend dealing with this manager. read more

I hate complaining but a server should never ever excuse poor service or food being UNDERCOOKED and taking forever because of high volume or long ticket times. We also asked to speak to a manager because after the steak had been sent back twice (RAW) it was still on the bill and her excuse was "they are 17 pages deep back there we're really busy rn" I repeat, after our steak had been sent back twice. I know how table touch procedures and up/recook protocols are supposed to work, none were ever displayed. Her and the food runner also tried to argue the temperature with me knowing medium is supposed to be a Hot pink center the center was literally still cold both times and was never ran back out by a manager to check the desired up cook. My dad's steak that was sent back also never received his mushrooms and onions he ordered. Alexa was kind of dismissive and we felt rushed but yet service still took 2 hours. Server asked was all ok about 30 sec after our food was brought then we cut in and was overcooked so since she didn't come back till we were leaving hubby skipped eating. This is our absolute choice for steaks for many reasons but today topped the charts. Our favorite steaks are the Outlaw Ribeye and the "Ribeye" both are fantastic choices. One is just larger than the other. My husband always gets the Brussels and I get the asparagus. This week the steak was just ehh... as well as my husbands Brussels completely not the norm so we didn't finish our meals our server at the bar where we like to eat (Jessica) asked us if the meal was ok hesitantly we said no it wasn't the norm... she let the manager (Phil) know and he took care of our meal insisting he knew we were regulars and that this is how you take care of things. Phil you have restored my hope in customer service. We certainly did not complain to get comped a meal but we were so grateful for your attentive action to our patronage. At Longhorn's the burgers are cooked to order, always juicy, with an in house aioli that adds that little pizzazz I am looking for. I usually really enjoy the steaks here. I have been coming to this particular LH since they opened. Consistency has been the hallmark of this franchise...good steaks and sides at a reasonable price. In other words, good value for the money, But this past week I was disappointed. My typical order is the Renegade steak, 6 ounce, medium rare, with a loaded baked potato. The steak was about 3 ounces and so rare as to make it hard to cut and chew. I know, I should have sent it back. But given the size of it, it wasn't worth the wait. No prime rib on the menu anymore either. So, I guess it will be a while before I go back. Maybe Bidenomics is having its effect on the quality of meat. I don't know. All I know is I will not go back to LH for a good long while. read more

I went there for my birthday on March 20. The food was awful my ribeye was tough like a piece of leather it was heavly seasoned with an enourmous amount of salt and other awful spices.. I am only giving this restaurant 2 stars because of the hassle I had with my Service Dog. The food and service is good but...... I have a small Service Dog who is trained to a carrier and his commands are by voice and hand signals. I was questioned if this was a Service Dog which is fine. I was told he had to be on the floor. He is in a carrier and is always next to me on a chair or bench. One wouldn't even know he's there. I explained to the manager that my Service Dog is trained to answer hand signals and if he's under the table he can't see them. I was told he had to be under the table or I would have to leave. I explained again that there are circumstances where the animal can be allowed next to the handler. The manager finally allowed us to be seated but it was the farthest booth from the entrance adjacent to the bathrooms when other tables were open near the entrance. read more
