Food service was much faster today. Come on Sundays!! Service and atmosphere still good. I wished they were always this expedient!

We stopped here for lunch in between orientation sessions. We were seen immediately, but it took a few minutes for our server to greet us. From when we ordered to food arrival time took over 20 minutes, and we only interacted with our server once. Come to find out she was the only one in the whole restaurant serving and taking care of the bar for the lunch rush. It was not crazy busy, but it was a decent amount of people to deal with for one person alone. Overall our food tasted good, but it was annoying have to sit and wait several minutes for a drink refill and extra napkins. Plus, I wasn't a fan of having to track down our server for everything including our bill. read more

I would definitely recommend it. The new remodel is great. This is the second time I have gone in with my dad in the past couple weeks. The staff is amazing. I will say they seem to be more staffed in the evenings. The food was also amazing for the second time we went. I got boneless wings and my dad got a steak wrap. Their new bar is really nice. I grew up in Lincoln and come back home frequently now that I do van life. One of my dad's favorite places is Buffalos Wild Wings. Before the remodel I will say it looked a little dark in there. Now oh my goodness it looks amazing! I love the way the bar looks and everything. The whole setup is great. The thing I do have to say is whoever is in the kitchen needs to get their act together. Well I can't say it's the kitchen. It could have been our waitress. She didn't catch it so I think that's also on her that my order was wrong. I didn't complain tho because I got more that what my dad got charged for. I'm not a picky person, but I do know there are a lot of people that would send orders back. It was wings so I didn't care. Came here on a weekday they were friendly and quick service! The food portion was small for the price! Seems like a good place for gamedays they have a lot of tvs to watch! If you're prone to falling I would recommend not walking on their times it's super SUPER slick. read more

Came here yesterday to meet up with a newer good friend of mine! Restaurant was very clean and quiet during the day! Lots of TV screens to watch sporting events. Our server guy was really nice and attentive. My friend got a Dr Pepper and the server kept coming back with refills of Dr Pepper and water. My friend had 10 hot traditional wings and I had 5 Asian & 5 honey BBQ wings. Both got 2 ranch dressings each. We also shared a large order of fries. Everything was just so good! My chicken sandwich was hot and delicious, but my fries were completely cold. I was given some very hot fries after I asked for them specifically. We were offered no discount or anything for the returned food, my guess is that this is a pretty common occurrence at this place. The booth we sat in was completely falling apart. Every time the guy behind me moved, my seat and the back of the booth moved all over the place. When I got up the booth seat almost came off completely. This exposed the graveyard of trash, paper products and masks which had fallen down there over the years. The manager was bopping all over the place in gloves that I never saw him change. As a server myself, I couldn't imagine giving a customer the service that I received tonight. We sat for over a half hour before getting our appetizer of chips and queso (which we ordered when she greeted us), and then waited for over an hour for our wings in addition to the time already waited. Flew in on a long layover, hit up the local BWW for the usual 6 wing and beer quick dinner. The place was loud, as expected, and had a lot of patrons, as expected, but what a bummer to have dirty glassware (cost a star) and an indifferent attitude by the server (another star down the tube). The beer was cold, and the business was brisk as people came and went - but not all looked too happy with the experience. The parking lot was pretty congested and people were backed up at the front, as the tables were not bussed quickly or very cleanly. My wings arrived cold, (another star gone) but I could tell they were understaffed and I wasn't going to eat soon if I sent them back, so finished them up and paid my tab. I'm not sure I understand the hate this place gets, based on the other reviews. But I certainly don't want to diminish anyone else's comments. I think this place is perfectly fine as far as wing joints go. It's a great college hangout in a college town. The wings are really good, except being the spice puss that I am, I've only ever gone as far as Mild. But a lot of my friends who can do the Blazin' wings love them, so I'll take their word for it. They're a bit pricey, but they also have deals for like 30 wings or something like that. Their wings are a good size too. The alcohol list is about what you'd expect. The ubiquitous Bud Light and Miller Lite, Sam Adams, Blue Moon, those ones. Never tried any of their mixed drinks so I'm afraid I wouldn't know. They've got a whole mess of TV's around the place, and they can usually change the channel if you wanna see football or baseball or hockey or whatever. They also do trivia challenges (which my friends and I ROCK). As for service, well, that's probably the biggest detractor. It's very inconsistent; you could get a really good server, who not only does their job well but also engages you in conversation, if you want; or you could get a really bad server who messes up your order and hardly ever attends you. The only other thing is it's almost always packed, the several times I've gone. We usually have to wait a solid ten minutes, if not longer, to be seated. I phoned in an order for pickup to the location at 1328 P STREET, LINCOLN, NE. The young gal that took my order was very helpful and polite above and beyond what i experience with some other businesses. When i arrived to pick up the order i asked the young man at the cash register if he could locate the gal and have her come to the register so i could give her a tip and thank her for the kindness she exhibited towards me while taking my order. The young man gave me a crude look and then stated "Whats wrong with me, why cant you give me the tip im the one ringing you up?" Now i will leave it to you as the reader to draw your own conclusion as to whats wrong with him and why he didnt get a tip. Tips were originally given as a gesture of thanks to an employee that went above and beyond the call of duty to insure that their customer was happy with their meal and the service. People dont tip just because you showed up for work and performed the task you are paid a wage to perform. This location seems to have an over abundance of self entitled employees who are more concerned about their social lifes than providing a service in exchange for a pay check. read more

Staff was friendly, however it was not a positive experience in most aspects. 1. Person who wrote our name down at the front door completely forgot about us and never tried to find us which we didn't realize until after we had already waited a significant amount of time after the wait time he said. 2. It took over 45 minutes to receive our food after we ordered. 3. They forgot my fries on my order and made my girlfriend's order completely wrong, so she had to wait another 15 minutes (for a total of 1 hour) to get her food. I usually like Buffalo Wild Wings but this is not a very good location. Staff is untrained and the servers don't check to make sure your order is correct before bringing it out. Been here twice. The first time I asked to have a game put on, it wasn't busy so it seemed to be no problem. Not long after that they switch the game to something else. In the mean time I had only seen the server twice. Tonight i sat at the bar and before I really got too much attention the workers were playing grabass...when I got my food I didn't have silverware until about 10 minutes after...if it was not for the blonde working another section I would have gave no stars.. not too bad of eye candy but the service just sucks. read more

I have had family work at Buffalo Wild Wings before and I know how things run. They worked there for a long time at one of the Omaha locations and had great reviews at that time. Now, I come to this Buffalo Wild Wings and get terrible service, insane food wait times, and even crazier wait times on getting just a beer. There is one worker in there that when we told him what was going on he immediately expedited all of our food and drinks and didn't charge us for the first round. This place is not safe to go to during the pandemic. I had to ask three times for my order for pickup and had to wait 20 minutes longer than the time the online ordering system told me the food would be ready for pick up. My frustration at the wait would have been really minimal, except for the fact that waiters were either not wearing masks properly and one of the hosts was not wearing one at all! So I love Buffalo Wild Wings. I love going to my Omaha location all the time. However, this location in downtown Lincoln has consistently given us the worst service of any restaurant location I've ever been to. Their consistently poor service actually has become a running joke between myself and those I know. Their staff just doesn't show up to your table. You can go the entire night without getting a refill. They don't seem to be understaffed either, their staff just conversation with one another and comes to the table only when you wave them over. Often times the boneless wings aren't even thoroughly cooked. That's happened over half the times I've been there. The last straw for me though was when I came in with my girlfriend at 11:30pm. There was half an hour till close, so understandably any restaurant employee would naturally probably wish we hadn't come in. But after waiting to be seated for a few minutes, while watching some employees talk to each other by the back counter, their bartender, this bigger guy with a full beard, comes up to us. He very obviously checks his watch right in front of us to make it known he's not happy we came in this late and says, "So you guys aren't here to eat in right, you're here for carry out?" My girlfriend asked him if we were allowed to eat in. Then this guy, clearly with an attitude, says "sure you can eat in, but don't give me any attitude." Now none of you reading this know either my girlfriend or I, but I can tell you right now, we objectively were as polite as could be. Asking if we could eat in was a legitimate question after the signals this bartender was sending us. But this dude has a history of unfriendly vibes before, and if you ever eat here and he serves you, you'll definitely catch that vibe from him and see what I mean. It was on snow day and Ordered chicken wings with sauces on the side for carry out. I stopped by at the appointed pick up time and still had to wait 20min but that's ok I can wait. Once I got home opened it up and there was no sauces inside. Sticker outside the bag have a list of things to check to make sure everything is correct but nothing initials or check. Ended up eating the wings with my own ranch from the fridge. My kids wouldn't eat them because there were no bbq sauce. Next day I still have a 3rd of my order left waiting to be tossed away. Came here today on Feb 10. 2022 @ 6:20pm. It was a Thursday night and it can be busy as any other popular chain restaurant can be. I had ordered some bogo wings and an appetizer, the wait time was more than I could anticipate but I eventually got my food and appetizer. Our server treated us with respect and did their best to get us situated as soon as possible but as soon as the rush of tables came in, the service declined. Overrall I had a mid experience. Never going back again because one of my friends suggested it but one of the most mediocre experiences to go to. Great food, absolutely terrible service. The staff is slow and never checks in doing the bare minimum. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it took 45 min to get the food. Not only this but the waitress was making comments about the guy at our table not covering a female's dinner which is absolutely rude. I was in town with a group of friends for the SCCA National championships, and beer and wings sounded like a good plan. Being out of towners, it's pretty common that we will hit up a chain restaurant like this, and it being a Thursday, it was discount boneless wings. Sounded like a fine plan.. right? I'll start with this, the food was normal. it's a BWW, if you've been to one, you've been to them all. no surprises here. What was awful, was the service. 6 of us walked into basically empty restaurant at 6pm on a Thursday, and asked for a table for 10, knowing 4 people are a few people behind us, and even more will probably be coming. Instantly, we were shut down, saying that "75% of the party has to be here".. I'd understand this on a busy night but it was empty. i asked if the server would "Settle for 60%?" He agreed, and i pointed out there were 6 of us asking for a table of 10. We were seated about 10 minutes later, in the bar. Yeah, we could have pushed those tables together ourselves. thanks. After that we were repeatedly ignored, and orders took excessively long even for things as simple as drinks, as we observed multiple waiters standing around the bar chatting with the bartender for extended periods of time. our group (which ended up being 15 before we left) will not be returning to this BWW. read more

We waited 10 minutes to be seated, 20 minutes to have our waitress get us menus, 15 more minutes to have our orders taken, and a good 30+ minutes to get out food. At the end of the meal, we had to track down the waitress to get the check... and she snapped at us when we asked. Maybe she was having a bad day, but the restaurant was not very busy. I *never* forgo tipping, but this experience would have warranted it. Food was great but there were several issues with the service. It took almost 20 minutes for the Cubs game to get turned on. That's just for starters, than we were asked if we wanted carrots and celery and replied yes. But, when our food came out we didn't receive any. So we asked again and only received one boat with only a couple carrots and celery in it. So again we asked for more and ten minutes later received another little boat of celery. This was not the best part though. When my 73 year father asked for a beer he was ID'ed and he chuckled for he didn't have it with him. They refused to serve him. I totally understand laws about liquor and agree it is to protect the business as well as the customer but, he definitely doesn't look like he is remotely 21. When the service is so bad that they deserve one star, you know how bad the business is. So this place famous for the insane wait time food which i get it, especially on a the promo night (buy one get one). I ordered online at 5:30 PM, order technically done around 6:15PM, the c ashier guy ask me to stay in the line with the people who ordered in-store ( at first it was kind of ridiculous). I was ok with waiting in the line since its not big deal because there are like just a few people in front of me. When it is my turn cashier ignoring me and talk to the customer behind me and pay no attention to who every suppose to be on the line first. At the time it was 6:50PM. So to ordered and get it done is like 45 minutes , to pay for the order is like another 30-40 minutes. This is why this business is going down hill, no matter how good the food is, bad strategy come with review and disappointment. They should have do two cashier, one take care of in-store ordered and the other doing the online part. As for the attitude , these people got some problem they need to figure it out within their team. If you dont want to wait for almost two hours just to get an online order that made way before that.
