Friday I came in for lunch and sat at the bar. I am new to the area and have been coming into this location for the past two weeks now. I have made a relationship with the bartender, Hannah while coming in and have gotten to know her pretty well, I know that she has been working at this specific location for the past eight years. There was soccer playing but she couldn't get it to come on. Her manager couldn't help. When her other manager arrived in what seemed to be a patriotic outfit, he came behind the bar with his sunglasses still on and approached her with an angry face, and she immediately asked him to help her with the TVs because customers were frustrated that the game was not on. He snapped back and said before he does that he has some things to say to her. She looked at him, and he immediately started yelling at her calling her a liar and other things in front of all of her customers. She had a full bar, and there was several tables full of customers. She could barely get a word out and he continued to yell at her in front of all of the customers until she had to walk away because she had tears coming down her face. She could not even get our beers out to us, her coworker had to get them for us. I asked her who that was, and she said it was the assistant general manager. I asked if I could speak to his boss. She told me that it was fine and his boss was on vacation. Maybe this was his tactic as a high because he's in charge. However, this is completely unprofessional and if this is how employees are treated, somebody else should be in charge at this restaurant. We went in at 11:30pm, with them closing at midnight since our online order wasn't working. She told us that she had just closed everything but asked what we wanted to order, before we could answer she said "Just to let you know we're locking these doors so if you order food you have to stay here." Upon asking why our online order wasn't working she said "We close online orders at 11 to prevent last minute orders like this" in an extremely rude tone. She was snappy with us from the beginning and even the manager said nothing to us when we walked in just laughed, threw his hands up and walked back. I called in the following Monday to place an order just before 10 pm, no answer. So, I checked online and the hours were open until 11pm. So I drove up to the restaurant. I toyed with giving them 3 stars so its more like 2.5. I don't know why i purchase wings from here. The traditional wings are never really ever crispy even if I get them with no sauce. The boneless wings have good texture. Usually order takeout and it is super slow even on days when they are not busy. Really like the cheese curds, they don't give you enough sauce with your order probably should just order more. My boys like their cheeseburgers and they don't really give you enough fries in the to go order. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because I keep coming back. So I've been coming to this BWW since it was built like over a decade ago. Back in the day, I remember good wings and good food. But then the prices went up, and then they went up again, and then they went WAY up, and now I go about twice a year when a friend asks to go. Consistently slow service, and by slow, I mean I'm in a party of 13 who sat down at 5, it's now 6:24, I'm on my third water, and still waiting for my 10 wings that I paid $14 for. If you want the sauce to actually cover the wing, instead of eating a dry chicken nugget that was drizzled with the sauce, you have to pay extra. I can get more chicken AND more sauce, FASTER, for cheaper, at zaxbys. The only difference is there's beer and TV's here. So if you're into beer and TV as the primary attraction, then I guess this is the place. Just wish it wasn't billed as a wing joint. read more

Well, the beer is good and cold and the waitstaff is nice but the wings vary so much in quality we are looking for alternatives.

First off I love the grilled tenders in Asian Zing sauce. That's where the things that I love about this visit stop. Only person at the bar and it took 10 minutes to get a beer. She said, and I quote, "sorry forgot you were here ". Lol. Fries came out cold, sent back, and came out the same. I have used the BWW app for several years and in March 2024 when the app forced users to enter a phone number to verify the account, it would not accept my phone number used to sign up, stating that number was already used. I contacted corporate IT to resolve the issue and finally in May 2024 it seemed resolved. I had to use a different phone number at one point, but my original number worked going forward. Tonight at the Lynchburg, VA location I had 3,315 points so I redeemed a 10 piece boneless wing with fries entree for 1600 points. I gave the server both phone numbers to try, but even though my name came up in the system, it did not give me the redemption. The manager, Tim, came to the table and said he couldn't do anything. I had placed a refund for the points after it didn't work, but he seemed to not care that redemption points could not be used. I told him about past issues and showed him my trail of emails to corporate. I then asked if he would watch while I redeemed ANOTHER 1600 points and he had an arrogant attitude. A good manager would see the redemption points and take the meal off the bill, but not this guy. He was determined to not give an inch. My husband got tired of his attitude and just told him to forget the redemption. So I am now waiting for two 1600 point refunds. And we will never return to this BWW because of the poor leadership. Fortunately we live closer to a more amenable BWW in Roanoke, VA who will appreciate our business. read more

I would give 5 stars for Becca our waitress but the whole experience sucked! My sister graduated from Lincoln university and we traveled six hours to see her walk across the stage. We decided to go eat after and Buffalo Wild Wings was available. Becca was amazing but then we noticed after 45-60 mins our food hasn't arrived but other people were eating. Becca apologized and offered drink specials. My sister starving after getting her masters. Becca then came out with Luke warm or cold food. My cousin asked for his to be popped in the microwave. Ten more minutes later I was then told they ran out of "Nachos" of all the food! When we asked for the manager, they refused to come out of the kitchen. So we refused to stay. Best wing place I've been to in a long time! We came in really late at night to get a bite to eat, and they were still packed at that time. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious! I recommend the chicken sandwich with garlic Parmesan sauce and fries with the chipotle bbq dry rub. I went to BWW a few weeks ago, hadn't been there in forever so I was actually looking forward to it. The waiter tried his best and was respectful and apologetic for the service, so I was patient with him even though there were multiple errors (relatively minor errors and he seemed like a newer server, so it's all good! I always tip very well anytime I go to a sit down restaurant...plus we had a party of 10 people, all the more reason to tip well and to be patient with the server). After a somewhat lengthy wait, they brought out my burger which comes with fries. When he brought out my burger, he said, "your fries will be right out". (I'm not sure why they would bring me the burger without the fries accompanying it, but I thought to myself, "no big deal" since my fries are coming right out afterwards. Anyway, I noticed my burger had bacon on it so I asked him if he could please take it back and bring me a burger without bacon. The waiter was very understanding and took the burger back and replaced it with a burger without any bacon-perfect! I then asked, "what about the fries". The waiter was once again very apologetic and said, "I'm so sorry, sir. We forgot about your fries." So I said, "no problem, can I have them now?" Apparently the kitchen was now shut down and not making anymore food, since it was near closing time....so they couldn't make my fries. This was very disturbing, considering when my burger was first brought to me, they said, "your fries will be right out", as if they were already made. It is clear that they had NEVER made my fries, and they misled me into thinking my fries would be "right out"....perhaps just to buy themselves some more time? If my fries were said to be on their way out, then why were they never brought to me....neither before nor after the corrected burger? Lastly, someone from my party said to the waiter, "we shouldn't get charged for his meal", referring to my meal which was an incomplete meal from what I ordered. The young man was once again doing his best to keep us satisfied, so he went to the back and asked the manager or the cook (or someone higher up) for some type of way to reconcile our issue. When he returned he said, "my manager said we won't charge you for the fries". (I think it was like a $5 deduction). This was the most ridiculous reconciliation whatsoever....it's a no-brainer that I wouldn't be charged for something that I NEVER received. So how is this any type of resolution? How is this any type of compensation for the inconvenience, not to mention the fact that I was misled into thinking something was already cooked and on it's way out. I realize most places are short staffed right now, and it's difficult times for everyone, so I try to be very empathetic and understanding that people are working extra hard. But this was bad business by whomever made the decision to simply not charge our group for the fries, rather than trying to offer some type of way to acknowledge the mistake by BWW and make it right. I don't blame the waiter, as I'm sure he is at the bottom of the totem poll and just following orders. Hopefully my next experience there will be better, but it may be a while before I return. read more

And the part we did get (wings)--had no blue cheese. Called Grubhub and they said they would have the remaining part of our order sent over. And they would make sure we got the blue cheese. Order arrived--still NO blue cheese. The two wraps were right. But the chocolate cake was missing the ice cream and topping. Overall, really horrible experience. Recent renovations don't make this place move any quicker or efficiently. Maybe they're just getting used to the new environment. They can now hold more people and it is clear that the emphasis is on the bar area. When you walk inside the section for regular dining is considerably smaller than the high top area. The bar has giant screens everywhere and is LOUD. So be prepared to yell a little to your date sitting right across the table from you. We ordered thirty wings and has a different flavor assigned to every five. I tried sauces which ranged from Curry flavors, Parmesan Garlic, BBQ flavors, Mango Habanero, and even tried and true Medium Buffalo. I was not impressed with very much. I enjoyed the appetizer of chili con queso more than my actual meal. They might just need a little bit more time to get in a nice groove, but until then... three stars for sure. read more
