In traditional Texas style

Busy Sunday afternoon, with standing room only... right there it speaks a lot of this place! Found a table & seats quickly for this party of six people including children! The wait staff was very friendly and patient! The manager had smoke under pressure! The food ordered for six people all came within 10mins of ordering! Quite commendable as it was very busy! The food ordered was excellent and fresh! It also was a lot that we had to take home half of the food! The flavored drinks were expensive, should have just ordered water! The steaks, vegetables and bread was delicious! Thanks for an excellent Sunday family lunch!

Great lunch experience! Service was excellent (ask for Gabe). This is your standard Texas Roadhouse set up. We only had to wait about 15 or 20 minutes to be seated and this was during lunch on a Sunday! I had the 14 oz Ribeye and it was cooked perfectly!

NY Strip & loaded sweet potato

I'm a fan of the Texas Roadhouse chain, but have been let down on occasion. This location is one of the better I've experienced in a long time. The restaurant sits back off the road, so look for the sign not the building. The lot was clean and there was plenty of room for parking. The lot was clean. A nice greeting from the hostess upon walking in was appreciated. I was asked if I wanted to chose a steak from the case which I did. A NY strip was marked and the hostess seated us. A friendly waitress warmly greeted us and got drink orders. No peanuts were offered. My son and I did not want them. Drinks and a basket of bread was out quickly. My son got a filet and fries and I reminded her of a NY strip tagged and got a side sweet baked potato loaded. The rolls are my favorite part and yummy! The area around us was now closed and was being swept up of peanut shells. Food hit the table around 20-25 minutes. Both steaks were prepared correctly and tasted delicious! The baked potato tasty! Follow up of food temperature and refills on drinks handled. The bill was brought to the table and quickly processed. Without a doubt this was a solid experience and would happily return.

This isn't a mom and pop restaurant clinging to dear life, so I don't feel bad to give one star. I hope this franchise puts customer satisfaction as their top priority and someone upstairs gets alerted of one stars. I travel a lot, and when I see a Roadhouse nearby, I will most likely dine there during my stay. I have ALWAYS been satisfied with their consistency in good service, upbeat atmosphere, food, and overall experience, then this Lynchburg location happened to disappoint. My first time here, the locals said there was limited dining spots out here, but when I heard there's a Roadhouse, I was pretty happy. Came here and had a bad experience. Hostess was giving off a "my job drags, customers are annoying" vibe, she pissed off another customer in front me who was Black, seemed he felt she was ignoring him. Anyways, we get seated, ordered drinks and food. Salad came first and was pretty quick but they got it wrong, then cups of chili, then finally the steaks. That was the last time we saw our server. She did not clear the salad plates and empty chili cups, nor came by to check on us. It's common practice to come by and ask how's the temperature, and usually at Roadhouse a manager will drop by. Also, all the other Roadhouses or at just about any other decent restaurant, it's common practice to clear the appetizer plates n stuff off the table when the main dish arrives. Well look at the time lapse pictures I took where you can see us consuming our steaks down to the end, and the plates have not been cleared - leaving us to dine on a messy table. To add to our fustration, we sat there for a while, food completely finished, table a mess, and look around the restaurant for our server to get our bill. Texas Roadhouse has been a spot that would always over deliver, wherever it was, but this Lynchburg location sucks! They're so busy, they probably don't care who's had a bad experience there. I never saw a manager walk the floor as I usually do at other locations.

Had dinner there with my friend and enjoyed the food. Will do again. It was crowded when we went but it was worth the wait.

We were skeptical when restaurants said they were taking measures to be more cleanly because of the covid-19, but they have!

Lunch with 4 friends was perfect Service was excellent,…read morefood delivered hot and very quickly Four of us got the bento box lunch special so we could try an assortment of things and one, the vegetarian kimbop. Everyone agreed, we'd order everything again!

Great to see representation for Korean food where we would least likely expect it…read more The banchan was tasty but weirdly limited (we were only given four for a whole family), teeny tiny portions (each normal-sized banchan dish was not even 1/3 full...come ON!) , and they never got refilled either. The Caucasian waitress did not seem at all familiar with the menu, so that was weird. The food was very good for the most part but could be better. So many options--nice offering! Strangely, the bibimbaps (we had 3 different ones) do NOT include fried egg on top. You have to ask for it and pay extra for it, which is ridiculous. If the cost of eggs hurts you that much, just raise the price. The menu even LISTS egg as an ingredient which makes it more confusing, but that apparently refers to the scrambled eggs that is chopped up inside the dish. Those scrambled eggs were kinda dry. Also, the veggie bibimbop was missing any flavor..had to add some banchan in there to get it up to par. Chicken katsu over rice was decent. Side of cream soup was ok. Waitress had absolutely no idea what ingredients were in it when we asked, AND she did not even offer to find out for us. We asked her to ask in the back and she never did come back with an answer. The beef kimbap/gimbap was really dry somehow. Like maybe the scrambled egg in it or the meat or both were overcooked and the rice not so fresh. Also it was missing flavor...it did not come with sauce or the pictured fish cakes. No sauces were available on the table. I had to steal some sauce from the banchan bowls to help choke it down. Also they're made just HUGE so it takes two bites to eat each and then of course that makes them fall apart. Really pretty to look at though. The miso soup sides were really good--usually at our local place they give us mild egg drop type soup so it was a welcome change. Would we eat lunch here again? Probably, since we just absolutely love Korean food...but we will learn from this experience and order differently next time. The mochi donuts on the way out..the cinnamon sugar ones were hard and dry and much smaller than the other flavors...so that was super weird. We ordered via the kiosk but when we got home we realized the humans got our order wrong so that sucked (the order is printed right there ON THE BOX, come on people) soooo...check the box before you leave!! The donuts could be way better...we usually get them in Newport News and those are bigger, fluffier, and chewier, but this was a decent attempt anyway. Oh, and the bible verse on the insides of the boxes was off putting. Because of that, we will not buy from the donuts/boba shop again. I feel like this place could do better but they're just not striving to, because they have no competition in the area.

It's next to a small playground and new amphitheater, so I'm sure this place gets quite busy on weekends. One person in our party said her salad had the best dressing she's ever had. The fried pickles were good. The shrimp was good. One bartender was good. Cons - We walked in and basically weren't sure what to do. There was a woman at we thought was a hostess stand, but she never said anything to us. We finally asked if we needed to check in with her to get seated. We did. But it was kind of weird. One bartender was awful. Never made eye contact. Wouldn't take any orders. Acted like she wanted to be anywhere else. I thought the Caesar salad was ok. It came with lacquered salmon. I would have loved the salmon, but not lacquered. It couldn't be made to order. Ok fine. I ordered it the way it was described. There was nothing lacquered about that salmon. It also was shredded on top of the salad and was maybe two ounces. That's ridiculous. Our server wasn't very helpful and not very attentive. I'm sure many people have had great experiences there, but I'm not sure I would take the time to go back.
