Nothing great about this place. Understaffed on a day that was clearly going to be busy, and the food was not good.

The worst wing place in the entire valley don't ever come here waited almost an hour for my pick up order. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have two different reviews, because I have dined in once and also ordered to-go. When I dined in the only thing I could say was [BAD], was the cleanliness. I loved our waiter (I believe his name was Edgar). The food was great also. When I ordered to-go, the food was ready on time and it was hot and fresh. The service was good. Worst Service Ever by waitress Pamela. We go often and service is usually good and place is clean but not yesterday. Waitress was not attentive , asked for buffalo sauce 2x and never received it . Had to get up to pay, rather than wait for the tab and pay because she was taking forever. We were there for an hour, and she probably only cleaned one table. All empty tables were dirty and even food and napkins were on the floor that she would go over it, besides cleaning it. read more

Walked in and we were told sit anywhere. That shoud have been our first clue. Once we sat down, we didn't have a server come by for quite some time. Then one said she would be right with us. We continued to wait. Finally, a different server asked if we had been helped and when we said no, she took our drink order. Didn't seem like over the course of the evening anyone was really in charge of our table. As for ambience, the restaurant was really cold and four or five of the tvs in the bar area didn't seem to be working. The ac fan was blowing so hard, it was blowing my napkin up off the table. The food however was good and we enjoyed it. I got the street tacos and hubby got the loaded chicken tater tots. We would both order them again. Went at 9:20pm to eat and enjoy a night with my husband. The server, Alexia, took 15 minutes to come greet us (the bar side was not busy, where we sat), she just left the drinks at the table and left and never came back. We sat there for a total of 30-35 minutes waiting for her to come back to take our order. We did not order anything since she never came back. Almost ALL tables were dirty when we walked in. My waiter was helpful but I have to say the manager was extremely condescending. I am disgusted with his behavior, and to be frank I am not sure if the reason he spoke down to me was because I was a woman but I would like to acknowledge that he did not demean my male significant other. Horrible customer service. Just horrible. AVOID IT. Read below if you want to know why. My co-workers and I were ignored at the front for about 10 minutes being passed by several waiters and others who obviously saw us waiting to be seated by the host stand (which clearly states "wait to be seated"). Finally one of my co-workers went back into the bar area and asked, and they told us just to pick a place and sit down. We sit down and then get ignored by our assigned waiter while he goes and talks to people he apparently knows who sat down after us for like 10 minutes. Finally comes over and we explain we need separate checks because it's a business dinner. He says he can't do that. Then he says my friend can't order a smaller version of one of the meals, or get the kids meal (just kidding, now apparently he can?). Also told another co-worker that she could order an appetizer, then proceeded to explain that she actually can't because they don't have half the menu in stock because someone didn't order things right. We argue with him about splitting the check and he goes off for 10-15 mins and then comes back and magically he can split the check, but it will have to be evenly. FINE, just let us order our food since we've already been here almost 40 minutes. We put in our orders and he proceeds to bring out the OTHER table's food first. Waiting... waiting... waiting... We all have empty glasses, he hasn't even checked on us, and then he finally swings by and we flag him down and he's like "oh, i'll check on your food". Finally brings it out and we're ready to leave, then brings out the appetizer (which we forgot we ordered) AFTER our meal, so we ask for to-go boxes. He screws up the receipts, acts like a complete dick the entire time he IS at our table (which was rare). Overall, absolutely MISERABLE experience. I truthfully was expecting a lot less from this place based on the two star rating it currently has. I decided to go here during my work lunch hour since I was trying to catch a soccer game. I was surprised to see a large group of people watching the game as well and I got a say the environment was pretty cool which made my lunch that much more entertaining. The only negative part of this was that the staff seemed to not be ready for a large group of people at their restaurant which meant one server was in charge of all the bar area which consists of about 20 tables. My food took a while to arrive which like most people know is not the best thing when you only have one hour of lunch and got to rush back to work because the restaurant service was so slow. read more

Yesterday I ordered lemon pepper wings and ate 10 of them (bad idea) the next day (which is today) I WAS LITERALLY VOMITING AND USING THE BATHROOM FOR SO LONG!! I am definitely a fan of buffalo wild wings simply because I am a wing lover period. But of course, this restaurant could whet anyone's appetite. Anyone can find their perfect sauce from the huge range of sauces that this restaurant makes available, from sweet to extremely hot. And if you're not a wing lover, no worries, because there are many other great menu options, like burgers, wraps, etc. that are really great as well. If you're a sports fan, this a a wonderful place, because there are about 20 HDTVS inside. This a great place to be with friends and enjoy really good food. And if you end up loving it, they even sell bottles of their sauces that you can take home and smother your own food in. I'm on a month long work trip here in McAllen, and my coworker and I stopped at this BWW twice so far.... The first time, the service was terrible, we were seated by the hostess, and then our waiter showed up, he took our drink order and an app order, we both ordered waters, and beers, he brought the beers, and the app, no waters, and no silverware or napkins, we finished our beers, asked for water again, and ordered.....food came out in a timely manner...we had to flag him down to ask for our silverware and napkins. Food was fine, but we left there shaking our heads......service sucked. Went there again tonight, hoping for better service.....I guess we aimed too high....again, a male waiter, took our drink orders, tried to order an app, but he came back and said they didn't have it...so we just ordered our wings and sides, food came out....friend didn't get his onion rings for another 10 mins, he came by once and checked on us, that that was the last time we saw him until we had to flag him down for our bills. I am a fan of BWW, and go frequently during football season to one close to where I live in Oklahoma City, and this is one of the worst ones I've been to....the worst was in Yuma, AZ. I don't recommend this restaurant. They recently closed to do some inside updates-- I'm not sure why because the service is terrible. My wife and I stopped there for a late lunch around 4:00 pm on New Years Eve. We stood in front of the cashier waiting to be seated. The cashier after five minutes told us we could sit where ever we wanted. They weren't busy at all; however, every table we looked at had not been cleared from the previous customers. We finally turned around and left. We called the general manager to complain. If the tables look this way, just imagine what the kitchen most likely look like. read more

Its a decent a hang out place. The wife and I were there last night to watch the bulls game. The good: great bar food! Wings are usually always good. I'd say about 85% of the time you got a winner. Every now and then you'll get food that isn't done right. The bad: service is most often bad. It takes forever to get service. I got our own refills because that was quicker. Got to finally put in my order via phone...took em an absurd amount of time to even pick up the line, As I was walking in to pick up my order, waitress was like uh....me 1st, n just barreled by me to drop off an order. No excuse me or even any sort of acknowledgement. Customer in front of me was livid bc she'd been there 4 over 15 minutes without any acknowledgement from the staff either. I would have complained to the manager if I thought it would make a difference but the place is clearly run by someone who doesn't care at all about customers. I have never made a Yelp comment before but today I decided to give it a try because I could think of no better way to address the seriously bad experience I had as a TO-GO customer. I wasn't even a dine-in customer and I still felt the need to Yelp them! I have to agree with the other reviews about the putrid smell when you first walk in. Once you make it passed the disgusting entryway, you're greeted by No One. The dining area had less customers than servers and they still took several minutes to attend to the line of people waiting at host station. I interacted with three different employees and none of them bothered to make eye contact with me. I still wasn't planning on putting in a Yelp because I expected to go home and eat delicious wings, which is really all I wanted in the first place since I know not to dare dine in at this location. My husband and I decided to go here since we've been to buffalo wings and rings many times. We decided to give this a chance. Once we arrived we waited in front of a group of waitresses and they ignored us. A manager came and sat us at down apologized for what happened. Our waiter was really nice, brought our refills when he saw our glasses getting empty , brought our appetizers fast! As appetizers we ordered fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. THE FRIED PICKLES WERE IN THE SAME BREADING AS THE MOZZARELLA STICKS. Which was very odd. So our fried pickles were spicy and crunchy, when they should be lightly coated. I ordered wings and my husband ordered a burger, he didn't complain about it. My wings were super dry on the inside. Never again read more

Wow!!!! I was so excited to come here because I hadn't been to the new location but boy was I sooooo disappointed. First of all the place was filthy dirty. I don't know if we had just come at the wrong time or what but either way it was just not acceptable. Straw wrappers and food crumbs all over the floor and unclean tables that looked like that had looked like that were like that for a while. She checked on us once and when she did she scooted off before we can ask her for something else. I had to get up 3 times: once because she or they forgot my drink, 2nd time I had to ask for utensils and then 3rd to ask for our check!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE! Lighting is too dark in the evening. Service is very poor. We had ordered appetizers which came to our table very quick, but then it took over 30 minutes to get the entrees to our table, which arrived at an unappetizing temperature. i had to hand the waitress my cup to indicate i needed a refill since she never bothered to return to our table. we asked about our order and she told us it was being prepared. when she came back to our table in less than 2 minutes with our entire order, the chicken strips were cold, the burgers were cold and so were the fries. If our food was being prepared, then it should have arrived piping hot. we reported to the manager and the waitress would not leave us alone after that asking if things were OK. we asked for a discount being that the food was very unsatisfying. very disappointed in the N. 10th location. We had previously been to the location by the convention center during the noon hour and received much better service. will definitely not be returning to BWW. the family sitting behind me had a kid bouncing off the walls, i thought there was a team of raptors in the next booth. i finally had to turn and tell them to settle their kid down before i called in Wrinkles the Clown to come down on him. read more

I've always loved Buffalo Wild Wings, the food is good ol bar food and they serve you until they close. The drink specials aren't too shabby either. The last time we went was during a UFC fight, oh goodness!! There were people everywhere but the wait staff kept up (round of applause for good staff!). I'm happy they'll be opening a new one soon near the convention center so I'll get more space for myself and the gang on fight nights. Keep it up Buffalo Wild Wings, I love ya! read more

I agree that the service is horrible. But what can you expect from high school kids? Our waitress took too long and she was upset because I asked for more ice. My daughters order was cold and my lemon pepper wings were heavily flavored on one side and bare on the other. After waiting almost 20 min for our ticket,we found out our waitress had already clocked out and was not waiting on us anymore and forgot to assign a new person.
