My experience at Buffalo Wild Wings at the Block of Orange is something I will never forget- worst experience ever..... I work for a cooperate office minutes away from this location, so I decided to go with a close friend mine after work. It was a long week, and we really needed just to vent to finish the week looking forward to the three day weekend... This was around 4:30 PM, We thought it was a good time to go because it was thier happy hour. We were there and ordered our drinks, and of course, their sales pitch;"We have half off on our appetizers, would you like anything from the menu?" We decided to get a few appetizers, and a few rounds of drinks. Each order the bartender/server would ring up a new bill and kept on presenting us with a new receipt. I made sure to pay attention to the total as I always do, most places I go. After a few drinks, I saw the total at $20 - $26, so I thought good, we are doing well. My good friend then orders two shots of patron and a couple more drinks. Now it's time to check out. I am now thinking that our total is no more than $50 - $70.The bartender presented a bill that was over $100, so I had to question the bill; "Can you please explain this bill?" The bartender then said that is all you ordered. My friend then asked to speak with the manager on duty. While speaking with the manager, the only thing he was able to ask is; "Did you order all those drinks on the menu?" We understood that we order everything but with the fact that both me and my friend kept on checking on the tad, we knew that the bill should not be that high..... While speaking with the manager the bartender intervened and stated that I was drunk and I do not know what I am talking about - I am actually writing this an hour after the altercation. Go figure! Why would you even tell a customer that? He is buying and supporting your job!!!!!! One other employee also asked why do we even bother go to their restaurant. Really? The manager was not trying to explain to us why our tad was at that price , so he decided to call the cops. The cops came and we explained everything but in the end we had to pay whatever they wanted to charge us.We were not refusing to pay, we simply needed an explanation of our bill and the charges..... No citizen should go through this kind of experience, and I was very shocked about the whole ordeal..... I really hope everyone that goes to this location pay close attention to their tab, and make sure that they are not being over charged... I have come here several times, with my family and kids and I am 50 years old never been carded. This person asked me for my ID. Didn't bring it and tried to see if I could get around that, He refused called Manager spoke to older lady she was no help kept related the same thing , so I asked her for her Manager and she called this Manager guy name Esteban, who is a short Latino man with a short haircut. Told him all I wanted was a beer and said it was the law. They had to card me. I said I've been served over 15x here as I was a regular said had he known that he would have fired them. All 15 servers. I told him that' this didn't make any sense because a lot of other businesses don't automatically card unless they suspect you are under age. Said they would card a 60 plus person regardless because he said that if they left and got into an accident they would be responsible. This is a lie!! I said so if some one goes to a sports bar and drinks and has an accident how is him showing you the ID going to prevent that person from an accident !!! Or from barring responsibility. It doesn't so his whole reason was a very weak nonsense reason. I felt belittled and embarrassed and upset of the way he handled himself. He was very arrogant Esteban and said if I don't like the policy I can leave. Asked him for his Supervisor gave me his name of Ryan Miller, and said what I said would t matter because he meaning his boss won't do anything because he. Ever does. Said the report will simply come back to him and that's it. Talk about no accountability and no care for patrons concerns. I will say this place is not worth the service they provide. I will not come here again. The service is not good and it seems like they need to get all on the same page because how do you have 15 servers at least not knowing this policy that some like to follow when others don't!! Don't come here unless you are okay with getting talked down to and if you complaint you will have the manager Esteban telling you if you don't like it go some were else!!! What a dush!! Today I was at this place. Big shout out to Kim she did an amazing job. As a current manager and seeing all she did by serving all tables by herself and still going to do the bar to do the bartender job because apparently him and the other 5 associates couldn't do more! As a manager I would have put them to go help the other side and do more than just standing chatting and not doing anything while other employees attending more than 10 tables herself still doing a bar tenders job. Then I notice a manager was there yet she was no help could not even get a guys box to go she had to call the server to do it!! What!! What kind of manager is this?! She came all upset to our tables telling us it was time to finish yet we got our food and drinks late! Not because of the fault of the only one server. Hell I know better this was no the servers fault but the manager for not doing her job and adding more support to the serving side yet not telling the other 4 and the bar tender to get their job done right and fast. This location needs a better manager that can guide and move people as needed to serve the people that come here and show support to the employees that are working their ass off. I use to like B-Dubs more back in 2004ish when they were exclusively in the midwest. The first time I encountered B-Dubs was while living in Mankato, MN. It was the hip happening place to be. Fast forward to current day, I like it a little less because service is not always consistant here, at The Block or at any other location. I did notice a trend, if you go during the beginning of the week like Monday-Wednesday most likely you will be greeted with their "B-team" service staff, but if you come in on a Thursday through Sunday the service staff is much better. As for the food, it's pretty good and basic bar style food. I'm a minimalist when it comes to wings. My list of requirements for wings are this: crispy, non battered, not too saucy, and the flavors I always go for are mild and honey BBQ. B-Dubs mild wing sauce is a good sauce that allows you to feel some heat and taste what's in the sauce. Anything above that you are just eating fire. You might as well eat hot coals, because it's just all heat and not flavor. The honey BBQ sauce is nice, it had a bit of sweetness, smokey flavor, and little spice. B-Dubs has blown up since 2004 and it's still a pretty decent place to go eat, drink, and chill. read more

From start to finish, Liz (our server) was attentive, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed. She really took care of us. But what really stood out was Robin, the manager. She noticed that the vast majority of our group--and the restaurant--was Latino, and without being asked, she switched the broadcast audio from Fox to Telemundo. Yeah, I tried to come here with my brother (he has aspergers), and we got this server who was old. I believe his name was Julian. We came for the boneless meal deal that happenes on Wednesday and Monday and we waited over 2 hours for our food when it arrived it was cold we requested different flavors but he told us we couldn't change it which sucks cause I started off with buffalo ranch. Julian kept trying to sell my brother fentanyl not as a joke because he showed us that he was carrying some, and I told him to knock it off. When I went to use the restroom, I came back to find Julian being persistent on trying to sell fentanyl to my brother (he has aspergers). I was furious, and it only got worse as I asked another server for a takeout box, and Julian grabbed my food and yelled at me for "betraying his trust." The only highlight was when I told the manager Linda about my frustrations she was very kind and helpful as she took off the soda from my meal! Wow, what a huge disappointment we didn't want to wait for the dining room so we sat in the bar, walked past at least 6 tables that needed to be bussed. We sat and ordered a beer and a cocktail it took awhile which was surprising because it wasn't busy, we ordered appetizers and a cheese burger the appetizers were ok but the burger was dry with no flavor It tasted like a dried up DQ burger I really was expecting more for a $10 burger. The real problem was the service, once we got our food we were forgotten our waiter didn't have a problem taking care of the tables around us, he never asked how our food was or even asked us if we wanted another drink and if he would have asked we would have ordered more, he walked by three times without checking on us I had to stop him for him to do his job. The best part is when we were leaving there was 7 people standing at the host counter chatting it up and didn't even acknowledge us or thank us or come back again, nothing. I am appalled by the blatant disrespect I received from a manager who referred to herself as both "Christina" and "Kristy" during our conversation. She was unnecessarily rude and aggressive when addressing my concerns about a previous to-go order they completely messed up. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, she spoke to me with hostility and showed no regard for customer satisfaction. What's even more concerning is that she claimed the store doesn't have a General Manager, stating that she runs things however she feels, suggesting she operates this location based solely on her emotions. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable and reflects a lack of proper leadership at this establishment. The food quality is already horrible, but the poor management makes the experience even worse. We were really looking forward to checking out the new bar area at your Orange location. When we got there, it wasn't super busy - just a couple of other groups. We waited a little while for a menu (about five minutes), which felt a bit long, even though I get that sometimes things get hectic. Then, we ordered 10 traditional wings and fries - pretty straightforward, right? But wow, it took over half an hour to arrive! With only three tables in the whole bar area (two tables of four and us two), we were surprised it took so long. It felt like our server could've kept a closer eye on things. My son and I were actually thinking about booking a private event there, but after this experience, we've changed our minds. My go-to place. I love B-Dubs in general, but this location is the best one in my book. I'm smart enough to not get near this place on weekend nights, especially during big games. So normally you can catch me here any day of the week around noon, or early on in the evening. By going during their down-times, the service is great. Friendly, and quick customer service. The food is always amazing, especially compared to the location in Brea where they for some reason or another barely sauce the wings. This location has a huge number of TV's and screens like any other BWW, as well as a self-seated bar section with a happy hour menu. If you're just there for the food, go early in the day. If you're all about catching a game with a fun environment and food then come here as well. No going wrong with boneless hot BBQ wings. read more

Put name on their list waited 40 min which is fine since they look busy. Got seated and it took forever to get our server over to our table so we can order. 30 min after our order server came back and ask for a credit/debt card to hold. I was planning to pay cash but if it there policy then fine but what made me mad that one other tables that came in after us was not ask to hold their credit card. I know everybody loves this place, but this place is not worth the long wait. The service is slow, the staff walks by and looks and knows that you have not been helped yet they still ignore. So after waiting an hour to be seated you have to wait ten minutes to get a drink. The margaritas are gross, they taste like soap. The food is greasy with no flavor, I have visited the place multiple times because my family likes BWW but the flatbreads are super greasy, the fish tacos have no flavor and the last time that I went the wings gave me food poisoning. If you want to try it out for yourself go ahead but if you end up with a horrible stomachache and and visiting the bathroom all night. You were warned. Worst BWW you can go to. Went there for a football game and the Hostesses accidentally crossed our parties name off the list. We asked why there were parties that showed up with the same amount of people being seated ahead of us they apologized and put our names back at the bottom of the list. While we ended up waiting an hour for a seat I got the honor of stomping on a pretty big roach in the waiting room. I regret taking a picture for Yelp but oh well. After complaining to a manager about our wait he then finally seated us and took us to a table that was still dirty. It was pretty amusing to see him mutter under his breath "I thought this table was clean" and him apologizing to us for another wait. But I won't go here again. I worked at BWW for 10 years I know what its like to grind in this place and I know what its like to be tired. But Daniel was horrible, I asked a question and he threw the menus down and pointed to where I could answer my own question. Then instead of telling me they don't do the pick four which takes up half the menu he rudely told me I should have read the sign outside. Learn to engage, smile a little bit, and if you hate it bro fake it till you make it. Simple kindness in my book gets a 25% tip. Sorry you are stuck bartending at Buffalo Wild Wings but don't take it out on the people you expect to pay your rent. I've never tipped 0 in my entire life. But I'm about to.
