Five stars are not enough for this place! I have never been disappointed with California Pizza Kitchen. The food is always delicious, consistent, and enjoyed by everyone in our group. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and well prepared. What impressed me the most was our recent event. We brought 130 international guests who were attending a convention nearby, and we chose CPK to host our group dinner. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our guests loved the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience. A special thank you to the manager, Ronny, who took outstanding care of our group from start to finish. His communication, cooperation, and professionalism were truly exceptional. Organizing a large group event can be stressful, but Ronny made the entire process smooth and easy. I would honestly give him 10 stars if I could. If we return next year with another group, there is no question that CPK will be at the top of our list. First time eating here the other day and it was a great experience. We were greeted upon entering and were sat down right away. The menu has changed over the years but the staples remain such as the kung pao spaghetti, the BBQ chicken pizza and the chopped salad version, spinach artichoke dip, lettuce wraps, etc. I was quite sad to discover that they got rid of the Italian cream sodas that I always used to get. We ordered the Neapolitan burrata pizza, Burnt Ends bbq pizza, spinach artichoke dip, bbq chicken chopped salad, and Kung Pao spaghetti. We also got free bread which came with butter, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It didn't take long for all the food to come out and everything tasted great. Everyone knows it's not the best pizza in town but when you've been eating here almost your whole life like me, the nostalgia of the food just hits different. And having a friendly, attentive server who constantly checked on us and delivered everything we needed definitely elevated the experience as a whole. The food was actually really good and tasty, so credit where it's due. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. It wasn't even busy, yet everything took forever. There's a 1-hour parking limit at this location unless you want to pay, and we easily could have been in and out within that hour if the service hadn't been so slow. Because of the delays, we missed the window. To make things worse, they did validate our parking -- but somehow gave us an invalid validation, so we still had to pay for parking anyway. The avocado egg rolls were perfectly crispy, super filling & honestly one of my favorite things because they taste absolutely amazing with the ranch. I love their ranch! The chicken lettuce wraps were just as good & always super consistent. The BBQ chicken pizza had really good flavor with a nice crisp & the chicken piccata is still my all-time favorite because it always satisfies me when I'm really hungry. My toddler tried the mac & cheese for the first time & actually loved it which surprised me in the best way. It had been a while since we have been here and we were craving pizza. We brought my grandpa for happy hour and we couldnt have been more pleased. The Meomi happy hour pinot noir is fantastic. For $9 you get a personal pizza and a beer. What a deal! My grandpa had the bbq chicken pizza and it was great. My husband and I shared a regular sized neapolitan burata pizza with pepperoni. It is our favorite item here. It's so delicious!! It rivals some of the fanciest pizzas we have tried. The burrata cheese and pepperoni are top notch. I think we had 1 waiter for about 6 tables to the right. However, he was nice, attentive and got our order input quickly. Appetizer was brought out to a different table, someone at said table then asked to see what the food was and the food runner proceeded to show them our food... He the gave us the food and asked if we wanted small sharing plates - we said yes. 5 minutes later and still no plates - keep in mind we can literally see he standing in the open concept kitchen. He then comes out with our entrees and ,again, takes it to the wrong table. Felix our waiter was very kind, humble and very smooth on the service. We even tested him to see which coloring he liked best from the kids menu drawing my daughter and I did. They could not rearrange the table to accommodate our party size, but they were kind enough to seat us close together. Her words were nice but her actions got me questioning if she was okay. No biggie I guess since none of the food actually splatter just loud noises as the food were being dropped off at our table. Sorry if you had a bad day! The pizza had a bit of a kick of spicy-ness to it, the tortilla chips that came with the dips were delicious, just like the spinach and artichoke dip that it came with. Prices are similar as well as quality of food. But, the SERVICE was totally different and disappointing. When entering we not greeted and had to look for a server to be seated. Next, the server reminded me of a used car salesperson. She would zip by with a smile and then go to a table where other workers were have an impromptu meeting. Spending more time there talking than attending to the customers. Food took way too long to come out of the kitchen and when she delivered them, she didn't apologize for the longer than normal wait. Today was my first experience at this CPK location at the Anaheim Garden Walk. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted immediately and ready to be seated right away. I chose to sit in the bar area. Maria was the bartender on duty and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the Weekday Lunch Special of the Burnt End Pizza and Smashed Pea Soup. The food was delicious and a great value for a lunch special. In fact, I was very impressed at the customer service that I ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza to go. The manager on duty, Erik Robles, introduced himself and was very helpful asking if there was anything that I needed. Erik went above and beyond to make my experience a very positive one. Here is a tip for parking. If you park in the parking structure, you get one hour free from Garden Walk and if you get your parking ticket validated, you get another hour of free parking. Stopped by here for dinner before a concert with my family and it was alright. Haven't been to CPK in years but was excited because they brought the tostada pizza back which is mine and my mom's fav and the main reason we went when I was a kid. We all got happy hour cocktails, they were sadly out of one of the mixes. We shared a Cobb salad and tostada pizza, and the rest of the table for the burrata pizza with a bbq salad. I enjoyed my food the most but they all said everything was weirdly salty to them. Both pizzas apparently had an overly salty taste so we ended up not taking any leftovers home. I came here yesterday around 6pm with bestie and we were very happy with our dining experience! Our server's name was Daniel and he really contributed to the 5 star experience. He was super fast with orders and came by to check up on us multiple times while we were there. For our entrees we chose two pizzas: habanero carnitas and thai chicken, both on cauliflower crust. As someone who is gluten sensitive, I was so relieved that they offer cauliflower crust, and it still tasted delicious! I was pleasantly surprised with the habanero carnitas. The pork was so tender and the flavours were rich. The spicy sauce came on the side which was a relief because it was so much spicier than I expected. The thai chicken was great too, and I could really taste the peanut sauce. I was enjoying everything so much I had forgotten to take photos of anything Out of all the CPK's I have been to, this one honestly blew my mind. The store seems a little smaller than normal, so do expect a wait. But the food quality was amazing as was the service.
