Never a bad time here, just good vibes and lit entertainment. Sitting at the bar is dope because the TVs are there playing the NBA games and the employees are so cool and fun to talk with. They have a variety of flavors to choose from. We ordered the Cajun wings, Fish Sauce wings, Buldok wings, and Butter Parmesan, and the Lemon Pepper. My favorite is the Butter Parmesan and the Fish Sauce one. Both are packed with flavors and the wings are crispy but also very juicy. Cravings wings and lots of it one night. Seen this restaurant around recently and they had so many different flavors so I couldn't resist! We also had a few appetizers of the Flappy fries and Tot's! I rarely ever look at Yelp's suggestions since it's usually just notification-spammy BS, but Flappy's definitely caught my attention for a few reasons. First, the unique flavors! My first time here I actually avoided the chili crisp because it looked drier than a bone, but last night I said screw it, let's give it a try. It actually ended up being probably my favorite flavor to be honest. It's basically Lao Gan Ma on wings and it's so good. It made me want to eat it with some rice! The Thai and Nuoc Mam flavors are good if you like sweet. Second, they do $1 wings here every Wednesday!!! This is my new wing spot on Wednesdays now for sure. I used to go to Bigs in Fullerton and I only went because it was close to home and had a full bar, but the wings there are actually awful. In fact, I only got them plain because the sauce was so bad there. Flappy's has better quality and flavors by a long shot. It's not even fair to compare the two. Lastly, I got tired of the wing duopoly going on around here!! Wing Stop and BWW only do their stupid promos for "boneless wings" (chicken nuggets) and their promos for traditional wings is actually pretty pricy per wing. I would much rather support a local business. Only complaints I have are about the restroom and the space. It's honestly so small and cramped. When it gets busy you really have to squeeze your way past the tables and people sitting at the bar. Also you kinda have to sit close to people which doesn't bother me, but I would prefer to have a bit more personal space. The restroom is unisex and there's only one for the entire place. You have to be strategical when breaking the seal because good luck when you really need to go and there's a bunch of people waiting. Actually another complaint-complement. The mozzarella cheesesticks were good, but damn bro. Really? 4 of 'em for $7? A buck 75 each piece? And they're not big either, just standard size. Definitely not ordering that again. I'm ecstatic to find a local wings (and apps) spot that also serves up an awesome array of beers and soju. Over the last several visits, my favorite wings flavor has to be the bourbon bbq. I love drizzling ranch on my wings but the bourbon bbq is good without any sauce added either; the bbq sauce is perfect! A tad sweet with a touch of that mesquite flavor. The other flavors are good as well! All of the wings are super tender and juicy. The best part is the cartilage!! The size of the wing itself isn't as large as other places, but I do notice that the places with larger wings don't have cartilage like the wings here at flappys, which are so fun to chew and crunch at the ends of the bones. I also really liked that they had fun seasonal flavors like the strawberry sriracha. It was very delicious and had a nice sweetness to spice kick ratio that just worked. Total wing geniuses. Everything looked and tasted like freezer food. The music was blasting on a Tuesday evening like we were in a club. My friends and I couldn't hear each other speak. We ordered 36 wings and tried 6 different flavors. The ones with dry rubs were extremely under seasoned. The wet sauces tasted batched and flat. The only one we liked was the chili crisp one. The bartenders here have no real knowledge of how to make cocktails. I ordered a margarita without agave (the sweetener traditionally added to margaritas). The bartender/waitress looked at me confused and asked if I want a virgin cocktail. I should've seen the red flag there. The margarita tasted like the mix you buy from Costco. Came in on Sunday and it was filled with football fans. The inside is small with limited seating at the bar counter as well as tables lined up against the wall. There were large groups and I noticed not all were able to sit. Theres a few arcade games against a small wall to keep you entertained but mostly everyone was watching football. We ordered 2 flavors of wings for the 2 of us and a couple beers. Wings came out freshly cooked and juicy. Flavors were good: fish sauce and chili oil. Beers came out cold from the tap. Service was good initially but slowed down. My friend ordered a beer and they forgot, even after ordering from both bartenders. Waited another hour to order again and was brought one on the house. If you're looking for something like Wingstop with better flavor you came to the right place. i'm at the owner. It seems they've only been open for about a year, but I hope it's open for the rest of my life. The videos of their wings look pretty good, but the thing that got me interested to visit was their $1 Wings Wednesday. If you like a local sports bar, this place is good to visit. Since it was $1 Wings Wednesday, we got 3 different flavor to try. Since it was our first time, we ask the waitress for a suggestion. And the three wings we got were Thai Mango Chili, Korean Buldak, and Chinese Chili Crisp. Thai mango chili wings were alright, tastes more like a sweet sauce without mango. Korean Buldak- tastes exactly like the sauce from the crazy spicy noodle, but without the intense spice. It wasn't too sweet or sour. Chinese Chili Crisp - tastes like the chili oil at Dim Sum or the Crispy Onion Oil from Trader's Joe, but without the oil. It was more like the oil was drained from the Chinese crisp chili and coated lightly with oil seasoning the naked wings. I actually like this wings. Also, had one of their beer and it was only $5.
