I collected the office order for lunch today. When I called it (11:15am), I was told that they did not have ANY salads today. I paused, thought about it and kindly asked why, hoping the lady was kidding. She bluntly said that they were out of romaine lettuce..... I have always liked the food here. Today I placed my order online. It was ready 3 minutes late which I actually like. I would prefer to wait a little and get it hot rather than it being ready when I arrived and not as hot. I ordered 10 boneless wings. 5 with their "HOT" sauce and the other 5 with the Reform Blazin sauce. This is a new one. The wings were not properly tossed in the sauce. It actually appeared that the sauce was just drizzled over the top of the wings and not tossed at all. The 5 wings with the blazin sauce were over cooked, dry and hard while the other 5 wings were cooked perfectly and were tender, juicy and tasty. The blazin sauce is the first sauce I have ever had that was too hot for me. It brought tears to my eyes and I had to wipe some of the sauce off. But if you like it hot this is very tasty sauce. Im really disappointed with the my order. I ordered 2-20 piece wings, one in original and the other in zesty asian souce. The neither one had any sauce at all coating the chicken and all the sauce was sitting in the bottom of take out container. The business Buffalo Wild Wings is a sports bar that serves drinks and food and has a multiple amount of tv's. The sports part should be pretty easy, turn on the multiple tv's. The drinks, keep them coming and make sure the taps are cleaned and the coolers are stocked, not too difficult. Now let's talk about the food. Even in the name, Buffalo Wild Wings, wings it's food, so you should have this food thing down. I ordered a California chicken sandwich and a water with no ice. The server took our order and shortly it appeared, just as our server did when he asked us if we needed anything. I should have responded that I needed something besides water, the water tasted awful, I'm not sure how something so bad could be served to me, are they not aware that the water they serve to their customers is not drinkable? A little heads up would have been nice, I think the water in Mexico might have been a better option. The water was that bad, it looked and smelled fine but tasted like it was well, not good, at all, not even a little bit, I would have been better off drinking water straight from a garden hose. However I asked for a menu because the sandwich was supposed to have come with a sauce that really sounded good. The server quickly returned with a menu when I then pointed out that the sandwich was supposed to come with a sauce which was missing, I asked for a side of the sauce, but by this time my sandwich had already been chowed down on and only had a bite or two left. Not sure how that oversite compares with this action by the server. I was done with my meal, I had eaten all the food that was served to me. However, my friend was still eating his food when the server walked over and took my basket, as that is how the food is served, and at that time asked if we were interested in dessert, we weren't, and the check was brought to us as he was still eating. BWW's wing sauce is pretty consistent across their chain. I had simply hot wings (10) with celery. The celery was not fresh, unfortunately. Since it was the closest thing I had to a real vegetable, I ate it anyway. The wings were undercooked. I did not have time to send them back so I ate them anyway. Sloppy (as they usually are) I asked for and was given a few hand wipes since I was working on my laptop while eating. When I pick up my son at Midway Airport during the holidays, we always seem to get back to Orland Park late. Tried both Dave & Busters and Tribes Alehouse over the years for these late-night eats and was disappointed at both places. Tried BWW this time and must say they were open and serving up wings and beer ... something the other two couldn't seem to manage. The only problem with BWW is consistency. When their kitchen is on, they have nice wings and fried food ... and they always have the beer thing down. The seasonings (I like the dry seasoning instead of the wet sauce) is usually spot on for heat. While I don't like too many of the national chains, BWW does a pretty nice job. I think I'll start a list of BWWs around the country - a great excuse for having even more wings. By the way ... the address for this BWW is 159th and LaGrange ... it really is in the strip mall at 159th and LaGrange. We had dinner here at Buffalo Wild Wings and it was just meh. Let me start by saying that I have been a HUGE fan of B-Dubs in the past. For a point, I was coming to B-Dubs on a weekly basis. But lately I feel as though all locations have gone downhill a bit. Everything about the place (physical location) is fine, it's a decent-sized location that is split pretty 50/50 b/t bar and dining room and standard for a B-Dubs. But the food is what I'm upset with... I just feel like the wings (usually I get boneless) are never freshly prepared and come out luke-warm in temperature. These in particular were just that and, on top of that, they were just slathered with sauce in an attempt to cover up the fact that they were not fresh. And that's what upsets me, you go to B-Dubs b/c you know what you're getting. But lately, and this location is no exception, what you're getting is a sad excuse for the B-Dubs wings I remember. In addition to the lackluster food at this location, the staff was rather lackluster as well. We sat in the bar and the (nearly entire) staff was more concerned about cokin' and jokin' with themselves at a table in the back of the bar than attending to their tables. I've been coming here for years, I can never get enough of their wings! My go to is either mild or medium, I like to try different sauces though because they do have so many. We arrived at the restaurant and we had a thirty minute wait, which was fine but the hostess acted strange about us wanting to wait outside.
