So... 3 out of 5 ain't bad, right? (It is.) Got our apps eventually--without silverware, napkins, or even a "sorry." I guess finger food just means literally use your fingers. Meanwhile, a poor couple sat down near us at 6:15 and were told they couldn't place a food order until 6:50 because the takeout screen was full. What kind of nonsense is that? Dine-in guests told to wait for takeout to clear? Make it make sense. Honestly, the staff looked like they were in survival mode. This location is clearly understaffed, overwhelmed, and about one chicken wing away from total collapse. The food here is usually good and the servers are always nice, but the overall experience can be really frustrating. It almost always takes way too long to get a table, and once you're seated it still takes a long time to get drinks and food. The staff seem friendly and are doing their best, so it feels more like a management issue than anything else. I give them one star because the bartender was really nice and the beer was clean and cold. The wings were absolutely the worst I have ever had in my entire life. If I hadn't had good wings (including my own home made) I would never order wings again for the rest of my life. It was like trying to eat pieces of garden hose. This was actually the best BWW I've had for a long time. I got some chicken sandwich that was pretty good and the kids went to town on their chicken and fries. We ate outside on a nice day, but the seating area seemed to channel the wind (so our items blowing around got annoying). I know that restaurants are having a challenge hiring and maintaining enough staff to take care of customers. The wait time after ordering was about 2-3 times greater than usual. I feel that the wait person should have told me (and my party) that there would be a time delay in preparing the order. I'd like to start off by saying I used to be a server in college, so I always tip other servers very well, especially if they are working hard to keep up when they're slammed. Today was not the case. Our server was managing three tables. It took him ten minutes to greet us and ask for our drink orders. He only returned to the table to give us the bill. He basically threw the food on the table and walked away and did not leave any silverware. I got up from our table twice to ask for silverware and refills because our server kept sneaking away to the back of the house. I lied, I got up three times because I had to find another server to close out our bill. The sever I found unfortunately found our server to close out the bill rather than doing it herself so that added another twenty minutes to our stay. So hope you like your $2.00 tip bud you certainly earned it. I cringed at even giving you that much. Super rude and not attentive at all. You either need more training or need to find another place to make money man. read more

This is the highest rating I've ever given to a Bdubs. First off the service is pretty decent. 4/5 The biggest bonus is the fact that they will actually put sauce on your wings. Pretty sad experience here today. The last two times here have been subpar with no one paying attention to people waiting to be seated, to the point where the servers avoid eye contact in order to ignore seating people. Very slow service, very long wait for food. Despite that the wings and food are still BWW quality so we come back. Today though, we actually got a good server Michelle. She was attentive from the beginning and continued to assure us for a full 45 mins of still waiting for wings that our order is coming.... When the food finally came it was obviously not BWW regular quality crispy traditional wings. The first bite was just sad. They were not good. They were fatty and wet and soggy. After the first few we began finding uncooked centers. Yuck! Told server, she was nice about it but only offered excuses. Complained that the manager should be the one addressing this and she just profusely apologized. As we were leaving the manager did come over and was nice offered a $25 gift card so that was at least something. With all the issues there I think I'll pass! We may try this place again next winter because if they can't handle the level of business they have now this summer will be a disaster. Good luck Petoskey BWW. I like the wings at BWW, but here was horrible! I couldn't believe how careless the staff is about their customers. We had to wait 20 minutes just to taste 3 sauces, then she disappeared on us for another 20 before we could order. Get our wings, and they give us boneless when we ordered traditional. Top it off, we want to pay and go, took my fiancé 30 minutes to find her, he asked someone else for the bill and he said only our waitress can, and he doesn't know where she's at, no he won't get her!!! Needless to say, for the first time in my life, no tip was left. This isn't what BWW is like, but apparently the one in Petoskey doesn't care. I visited the BWW in Petoskey for lunch and it was a mistake. The service was not good at all. It took forever just to get my drink and then is was super weak. The syrup needed to be changed in the pop machine and they just kept serving it. My Pepsi looked more like ice tea. During this time a group of filthy, smelly people came in. It was repulsive, the wait staff placed them right next to us. Our requests to move to a different table were denied. When my food finally arrived it was not that warm. I have to wonder how long it spent on the counter in the kitchen before the waitress was bothered to bring it out. During this my friends and I used the online music service but the wait staff kept cancelling our songs and playing whatever they wanted. We were not reimbursed for the songs that we requested. Where do you start? This place is a dump, the overall food quality has never been great, now it is overpriced. They have raised prices 4 times in 2 years. I ordered to-go and when I came to pick it up the girl who helped me was amazing. She was super nice and friendly and was a possibly the best I've had when picking up a to-go order from a restaurant. I'm not from the area so I didn't know what the place was like and the reviews are fairly limited. While the service was great... I possibly had the driest chicken I've ever had in my wrap. A week ago I had over a 90 minute wait for a take out order, and half of it was never made. I pointed this out to the employees working, who proceeded to blame it on their ordering system. Once they verified I had paid for everything online, they went back to the kitchen to have the missing items made. I had to wait 10+ more minutes, wasn't offered a drink while I waited, and when I got home found out they made my order wrong and still left stuff out. I filled out the complaint form on the website, and as of today haven't heard from anyone either at the local BWW or from corporate. I don't know what all the complaining is about. I stopped in on a Wednesday and had no issues at all. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer and a side of wedges. The wedges came out hot and quickly. I ordered a second beer and shortly after placed my to-go order. My wings were ready to go before I finished my drink. Maybe all of the negative posts have more to do with the actual patrons and not the establishment. Or there could be new management with a better focus on customer service.
