This is the Maurice salad and Michigan classic absolutely delicious.

This is one of my go to places! There's literally not anything on the menu that is not delicious as a girl from New England I love the Mary's lobster roll. My husband loves the Bolognese, and the pastas and the Maurice salad is out of the world. Check it out - you will not be disappointed.

Side of made-in-house onion rings. They are exceptional.

The Paper Station Bistro was a great lunch choice. The food and service provided by Tom were exceptional. The Hudson burger was just as tasty as if I had gotten it at the Hudson Cafe in downtown Detroit. They also have the original Hudson salad. We saw one at another table and it looked fantastic. The fries and onion rings were cooked to perfection. The windows open to the sidewalk seating which enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend Paper Station Bistro.

Such a cute place! The menu had a variety of options and it would be perfect for anyone to find something. The food was decent but nothing special. The service was good! Our waitress was very kind and helpful. If I was in the area, I would come back but wouldn't make the drive to eat here.

Tiny restaurant but the food was great! We came for lunch, large party of 9 and we were seated in less then 10 minutes. I tried the salmon bowl and it was great, a tiny bit dry, I wanted some sauce on the rice and topping so I asked for some Sriracha. We also tried the "olive burger" and I'll be adding the olive sauce to my burgers at home from now on, soooo good and juicy! The kids loved their chicken tenders, although I must say they are pretty inconsistent with the kids meals. We were charged the same for all kids meals but some of their meals came in smaller plates others in bigger plates, same exact chicken finger meal, so that was a bit disappointing. Some kids got 3 chicken tender some got 4 ‍ Service was pretty okay, only complaint would be that the meals did not come out at the same time. I eat my salmon bowl while everyone else at my table was done eating... Being a tiny restaurant this was pretty loud, still an okay place for families with kids.

Been to Paper Station a couple of times and this time has been the best. Mostly because Haley's service. She was absolutely amazing. She checked on us and was attentive!! Sweet person. Had the bolognese and we finished with the lava cake! On weekend make a reservation and make sure you confirm it!

If the chicken in their ABC dish were any thinner, all you'd be eating is deep fried beer batter.

First disappointment was that the Brussels sprouts weren't on the menu any longer. Bummer, but as a restaurant owner I guess they weren't as popular with others as they were with us.. so we got bruschetta and some potatoes. They were just okay. I got the ribs and wings. Asked for boneless wings but I guess he misunderstood me.. no biggie. I couldn't eat the wings he did bring they were so overcooked. The ribs had too much fat, personal preference so I brought it all home and ended up throwing it away. Sister and niece got pasta. They said it was just okay. Nephew had Mac and cheese with chicken. It sounded delicious but it didn't have much cheese and (maybe he misread?) but didn't expect fried chicken tenders on top. The other two got burgers and again, they were just okay. Overcooked for sure. Another favorite burger is gone too, maybe the Texan? We ordered special martinis for dessert but they were more like a tiny milkshake. Very little if any alcohol. Being a restaurant owner I hate giving a bad review. Maybe we've just been spoiled in the past and the kitchen staff has changed? I don't think we will keep it on our list any more. Too expensive to bring guests and be so disappointed.

I got a few vodka sodas, a fountain coke, and my husband and I shared the giantest (yes it's a word) dish of nachos in the world. They were great. Our server wasn't overly friendly but she wasn't rude either, just wanted to get the job done. Would definitely go back for nachos and a drink!

Yes, as a…read morehometown local I'm a little biased for sure but there is something very genuine and honest about the Pub and the people there. No pretension, no putting on airs or trying to impress anyone, everyone coming as they are. You'll rub elbows with local blue collar and service industry people, trust fund kids, wealthy summer residents, everyday folks of all kinds etc. I think a lot of reviews here are from visitors expecting The Pub to be like the Perry Hotel or one of the more tourist oriented places that bends over backwards and caters to summer vacationers. One even mentioned threatening to "Go ski somewhere else" for not being coddled I guess, which I found hilarious. They also seem to mention food a lot. For what it's worth the food is pretty darn good here, though my experience is usually over some appetizers later at night shared with friends over a few drinks. Solid burgers, can't go wrong with the fish & chips and their cheese curds are surprisingly good, easily rivaling anything you'd find in Wisconsin. That said I've always seen this place as a bar first and a place to drink with friends that just happens to have good late night food too. The service is good and the people working are top-notch and good at their job, but sometimes the Pub can get a bit too busy as there's just not a lot of competition that truly rivals it downtown. That's what happens when barely anything is open late in the post-covid world and businesses seem to be closing left and right. If you can keep your ego in check you'll find a pretty rare and valuable thing here which is a local pub welcoming to anybody and truly reflecting the full breadth of the local community.

The main issue was that we were really hungry, having spent hours waiting on auto repair. The brisket tacos did not satisfy but to alleviate hunger. The flour tortillas were what my sister called 'raw'. They were not heated at all. The brisket meat was lukewarm warm. The cabbage slaw was raw. There was a dab of chunky plastic jar salsa already placed in the middle of each taco. Chips and salsa: the salsa was in a very small plastic thimble. We couldn't even fit a chip into the salsa. The best part about our dinner: the server asked if everything was good. I told her that it was definitely not my favorite EVER. The wonderful thing about this was that she asked me to explain. She did not show an animosity and was truly inquisitive about our dislike of the food. She said that she would tell 'him'. I am assuming that 'he' would be the cook. I appreciated her concern because the bill was about $40 and when my sister can't finish her meal that's a problem. It was about 430 and I hadn't eaten all day so I did finish mine but I couldn't say that I was not pleased with it. Although nothing was spoiled and it certainly could've been worse. I don't know if I could trust going back. I think that they could do a real light marinade on the cabbage to soften it a bit and if they fried the tortillas and maybe offered corn or tortilla in the beginning, it would be an improvement. Or how about if the salsa so called and in such a tiny vessel, it wasn't tasteless but clearly store-bought. Any restaurant should be able to do something with this information. I don't mean to be negative or demeaning, but I do intend to given an honest review based on my impression. Good luck Breakers. I was actually very happy to see that something was open during this flooding season. Unfortunately, I would've driven 50 miles further to have a better dinner.
