We have visited the Prattville BWW location a few times, and our overall impression is that it's...okay. The service has been good every time and the staff friendly. Just stopping in to grab a bite of lunch. It was around 1 o'clock, so hopefully the lunch rush had died down. We stood waiting to be seated for about five minutes and we could see really no one. I only saw one waiter in the whole area to our right. After being told to sit anywhere, she was quick to grab our drinks and menu. After she helped me out with some flavors, we ordered an appetizer and our meal, unfortunately the appetizer came out as the same time our meal did, which was disappointing. Overall, I really like BWWs. But this location is problematic. The issue lies with the service...frankly, it very poor. Slow... unbelievable slow!. Workers, and I mean nearly everyone I observed, seemed to be more interested in BSing with one another, than providing good customer service. This review is based on three visits over the last couple years. Each time, hoping to see if the service "wasn't" going to be an issue. Unfortunately, it hadn't. In my experience, that points to a problem with management. The food is consistent with other chain locations..and the only thing that keeps this review from being one star. Easily the worst Bdubs I've gone to. To start with, I placed my order at 10:30 PM for pickup at 10:50 PM. I arrived at 10:45PM and waited until 11:20PM for the food. I ordered one SALAD, that's it. And the late salad order ended up missing items. No croutons, no green onions, I don't taste any honey bbq sauce, a sprinkle of ranch on the top. When we did get sat, it was at a dirty table that they had to come back and clean (the restaurant was not busy), and then proceeded to wait for our waitress. Once we received those, they were super sour (strawberry margarita) which I sent back for another drink. The food was nasty and cold. As you can see in the pictures the mild wings on both trays are clearly just seasoned salt sprinkled on top of the chicken. We stopped here to watch The Steelers/Falcons game on the way back from the beach. Their location is great, right off of interstate 65, which makes it very convenient for travellers. There were plenty of TVs so we had no problem seeing our game. Even though it was a Sunday, we had no trouble getting a table and were seated immediately. Also, our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable. Regarding the food, my husband loved the mango haberno wings and the sweet BBQ wings. I'm not a wings fan, but I enjoyed the chicken soft tacos minus the ranch sauce. There were three tacos. I ate two and shared a side of onion rings with my husband. This was plenty of food for me, and I had a taco to take home for lunch the next day. My husband ordered 18 wings ate half and also had food for the next day. There was a lack of selections on the menu that didn't contain meat hints the name buffalo wild wings so I chose to get the crispy jumbo shrimp and a side salad. That night the house salad was a winner. My shrimp were definitely crispy but not at all jumbo they were more like popcorn shrimp with a lot of breading. They use the same sauces for the wings as they do the popcorn shrimp, the sauce I chose was horrible so I asked to try 2 others and those were a tad less distasteful but still not good. My boyfriend and his son enjoyed their wings but didn't seem to eat their fries at all. The prices do not justify the kiddy portions and mediocre food. Overall, this is a great place If you are looking to watch the game, have a few drinks and everywhere else is full. I'm not a fan of chains and this is now my least favorite. I have read several reviews of this place that were less than favourable. I am surprised that many people seem to expect so much from this place. Buffalo Wild Wings is the epitome of a sports bar. All I expect is some wings and beer while watching my favorite team on one of a hundred TV screens. My expectations are low because I have been to many Buffalo Wild Wings around the Southeast and they are all the same, wings and beer. Anything else off the menu is not their forte, they do wings. Their wings come with a myriad of flavourings that range from sweet to too hot to enjoy. My favorite is to get the 18 wings platter, half Mango Habanero and half Sweet BBQ. Oh yes, and of course a beer. Then leave me alone to watch my game. Then we sent back the tenders that costed us another 20 min wait and also got the garlic parm my friend ordered. Yet another problem comes up my friend ordered the 15 piece but literally got 5 PIECES like cmon now. Then the chicken tenders were fresh but to fresh they weren't cooked well at all.And the last and biggest problem the literal reason I came here my gift card that I know 100% was activated before didn't work(somehow an error came up?) I've ordered from this location twice, for delivery via Waitr (which is awesome, by the way). Unfortunately, these wings are an absolute salt bomb. Let's walk through a few flavors: Parmesan Garlic? Nope. Salt. Honey Bourbon Mustard? Nope. Still mostly salt. Chipotle Dry Rub? Salt. Jerk Chicken? It's salt! It's particularly sad since their boneless wings are a near-ideal balance of chicken to breading. They don't skimp on chicken content like other places do. They could be great, but instead they're using so much salt the ocean will soon become freshwater. It's absolutely insane. Oddly, the only thing I've had from here that doesn't seem to be over-salted is the french fries. I'd really love the chance to have some great wings delivered to my house. My husband wanted to go here for his birthday, and was extremely excited for the selection of food he found on the menu when looking online. Let's just say, you can't believe everything you see on line. We understand that Covid has changed a lot of things when it comes to the restaurant industry, but the menu was seriously nothing like we expected. The food choices was a fraction of what he found. (I forgot to take a picture of the two sided menu ). We decided maybe the selection was reduced so they could focus on their best sellers, which would have been great, if that had been the case. I had the pulled port tacos and he had the buffalo chicken sandwich. Mine was 80% bbq sauce and that was the only flavor I got. It was seriously had to eat knowing I was going to be drinking most of it due to it being the sauce. My husband was not happy with his sandwich, stating the flavor was no where near what he expected. He got the check and paid. Our two plates plus one beer, with a military discount cost is pennies away from $30. When I got home I actually looked at the check and the waitress charged us twice for one beer. That was his fault for not looking at the bill before paying, but that was another $7 wasted. None of the crew knew "Purple Rain" was a movie A handicap match is any match where one wrestler or team of wrestlers face off against a team of wrestlers with numerical superiority such as two against one, three against two etc. & that's what I watched as Bdubs wasn't very busy until late in the evening. The weather was expecting to be bad so most of Prattville was boarded up. Being watchful of labor cost, most of the Bdubs staff had taken off after they had achieved their assignments. With just a skeleton crew, I watched a "handicap match" featuring Katie & Sadie. Customers kept piling in on & around the bar counter. The champs were extremely out numbered but they made sure that every customer was well taken care of. Katie & Sadie are also good in single matches as I've seen them working hard to make sure they give great customer service. I feel blessed just being a witness of their work. read more
