The restaurant was clean and there was no wait because it was about an hour before closing. The service was good except for the fact that my burgers weren't prepared according to the order. I didn't realize the mistake until I got to my hotel room. I went back and they remade the burgers. It's probably been 10 years since I've been to Five Guys. I don't think I'll go back. The burgers were fresh but not great. They seemed to be missing something even with the toppings I ordered. I've had all kinds of burgers that were better than this. And some were considerably better priced. Five Guys isn't my bag. read more

Prices are way too high. $17 for just a burger and drink. No sides. Nothing special enough about the food to make it worth that price.

I stopped by this location in Prattville for a quick lunch. I ordered. Bacon cheese burger, regular fries and drink, and the bill was over $20. You order at the counter like at a fast food restaurant. Their is no table service. The bathrooms were not clean. Tables had not been wiped down recently, so not.clean I'm the dining room either. The burger was prepared fresh and was a reasonably decent burger. Not sure it should cost $13 without table service , but it was okay. They give you a ton a fries, but they were Luke warm at best, and very greesy. Definatly not worth $7. They have self served refills, and a good selection of soft drinks. I'd recommend going to Jack's if you want a bacon cheese burger and fries. It will cost you half the price, and taste just as good. read more

Good, friendly customer service. Hot, fresh food, cooked to order with good flavor. Real meat and amazing old school cut fries with the skin. Tastes great with vinegar and ketchup condiments. They still have the freestyle Coke machine. Clean environment. read more

I am embarrassed and shocked at how poorly my daughter was treated. She has a servIce dog due to her disability. They told her too step away from the counter where she was trying to order like everyone else. Even after telling them it was a service dog they continued to press. I get why they might not wish for people not to bring pets into the restaurant, but there is a reason why there are laws against what they did. They might as well asked a person in a wheelchair to leave their chair outside and come back in to order. Ordered 20 burgers for takeout. Wanted to have them so we could build our own. They wrapped each bun in foil, the burger patties in containers and all the fixings to go with it in separate containers. They waited on frying the fries until we arrived so they would be hot and fresh, another good thing. Was ready on time to take out and everyone enjoyed the food. Great job. read more

Stopped on way home from visiting family in Mobile. Burgers were hot, fresh and tasted delicious - fries were as good as always - hot and cooked perfectly with right amount of salt - peanut oil really adds to the flavor and crisps them perfectly. Only complaints were that we tried to do mobile order and app would take order but not check out - asked the cashier and manager and they were - yea we have had few issues today - need to turn off mobile orders if it's not working so people don't waste time - and 2nd was the coke machine and the cornucopia of flavors coming out no matter what drink you select. read more

:( I've always heard good things about five guys, but man, what a letdown. Overpriced for a burger. I paid $16 for a drink, regular size fries, and a regular burger. And, it was by no means gourmet. I was bewildered at what was supposedly so great, but moreso at the fact that I added so many toppings that I know I love and yet the burger wasn't even good. It was an unnecessarily large mess of ingredients. Two large patties does not equal a good burger. And, just because they cook the patty in front of you does not mean it's fresh. In-N-out is FRESH. I don't even really like In-N-Out, but it blasts five guys out of the water for sure. Their "Cajun" fries were underwhelming. Simply putting Cajun powder on fries is not really quality...... Yeah, it's a clean venue and they give free peanuts, but the burgers just aren't good- at least not at this particular branch. Blech. I'm a burger girl but I would honestly have preferred to get twice as much food from McDonalds and would've enjoy it five times more. Waste of $16. Won't be returning, and wouldn't recommend for a burger buff. read more

UPDATED April 20th, 2016. We decided to go again. Even with several "mediocre" experiences... we all love the food. Staff was much happier, friendlier, and hot our order correct 100%. And... most importantly.... we all got crazy-large orders of fries.... which is what I missed the most. The previously lacking 5guys "experience" was significantly improved. New management maybe? Well done. Bumped from 3 stars up to 4.... thanks 5guys! (Original review.. left a couple months ago) I love 5guys..... but one of the things I love is how it's "common practice" to give you a rediculous amount of fries..... every 5guys I've ever been to does it. ..... except this one. Been short-changed on fries twice now. The food is good.... typical 5guys. The staff seems uninterested to be there..... they are generally slow by comparison to other 5guys.... there are often errors on the burgers..... and you need to order an extra order of fries to get what you'd get at any other 5guys. These burgers are awesome! I love being able to watch the kitchen staff cook, dress and serve my burger to me. There is no extra charge for grilled onions or mushrooms and the hand cut french fries are amazing. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly. Went yesterday for lunch. Had a couple of things not go as well as normal at Fiveguys. Nothing major but just not the high level of service I'm accustomed to at this location. I didn't say anything at the time since they were hitting lunch rush and honestly it wasn't a bad experience overall. I did reach out via their "contact us' system. Manager reached out and apologized and is giving me a free meal. Really nice customer service. Really nice manager. Look forward to another great burger soon! read more

One of the best burger joints I've had the pleasure to frequent. The "regular" burger is huge. The last few times I visited this place. I ended up getting the "little" cheeseburger and small fries. The portion sizes are much larger than the names imply, so be warned. If you leave this place and you aren't full, then you need to be checked for a tapeworm! read more

The staff was fast and friendly. The location was nice with lots of other shops and restaurants nearby and wasn't too far off the highway for those traveling. Terrible service. I guess it's possible that everyone working this morning was BRAND NEW. We got there at 11:03 and received our food at 12:15. Yeah, I know. Who waits 1 hour and 15 mins for their food at a fast-food joint? Well, we had already paid and there was a line of people still trying to order. There were a few people trying to get their money back. Food went to the wrong people. The worst thing? Watching bags of food going out the door with Uber Eats. I guess the way to get a 5 guys burger is to park in the parking lot and order with Uber Eats. Someone from Corporate needs to come see this show. Surprisingly good lunch. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Service was prompt. The burgers were much better than your typical five guys experience. Highly recommend if you are looking for a burger. read more
