When my boneless wings arrived they looked presentable ....but the proof was in the eating!Oh boy....pure fried salt is what came to mind ...despite the dipping sauces. Never again! Definitely feels way overpriced for what you actually get. The fries came out lukewarm, which didn't help, and the service made things worse. I had a very disappointing experience at Buffalo Wild Wings. I ordered a simple 10-piece boneless wings order and ended up waiting over 30 minutes without ever receiving my food. What made it worse was watching other customers who arrived after me get their food before I did. Even my friends, who ordered more items than me and ordered bone-in wings, received their food while I was still waiting. After waiting so long with no updates, I completely lost my appetite and had to cancel my order. The service was extremely unprofessional, and the whole situation was very frustrating. I also spoke with the manager, Merna, but unfortunately nothing was really done to resolve the situation. Overall, this was a very poor customer experience and not what I expected. First time I tried BWW was in Vegas years ago, before they came down to SoCal. I was excited they would be opening locations out here soon because wings with different flavors for sauces? Yessss ! They have so many flavors and different levels of heat. So you can have mild or super spicy Bar area is great for happy hour. They have great deals during the week. It's a traditional franchise restaurant but in my opinion, they're definitely doing it right with tallow based cooking. If you didn't know now you do. Honestly, BWW use to be sooooo SOLID. I feel like over the years it just slowly went downhill. The wing flavors, don't get me wrong reason why it's still 2 stars bc the flavors are good. We got the 20/20 package deal and after several pieces no one ate it bc it was SO DRY it's as kind of inedible. Unfortunately. Service is a hit or miss. The customer service was great and our waitress was very nice and quick with everything. They also were very good with putting on a game on the tv when we asked. Came here for the AYCE Wings deal from Monday-Thursday. We got here a little before 6 so we were able to capitalize on the happy hour drinks. All of us chose the bone-in wing deal. For each person, they let us each choose up to 2 flavors for 10 wings for the 1st round. Note, if you choose AYCE, everybody on the table needs to also order AYCE as well. Wings were decent. Enjoyed the lemon pepper and Sweet BBQ sauces. Normally comes just with fries, but carrots are also included if you ask. For the 2nd round, they let you only choose 1 flavor for 6 wings. To be honest by this point we were all pretty full already. Also note I specified bone-in wings at first, but felt like doing boneless with the 2nd round and they were ok including it. I called ahead to confirm they allow dogs on the patio, was told yes, but when I arrived they acted like my dog was a problem and made me wait 15 minutes to be seated -- even though the patio was completely empty. Once seated, it took another 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us. We asked for three waters and only got two. Our entrées came out before the appetizer, and the extra sauce we requested didn't show up until the appetizer finally arrived 20 minutes later. It was the worst experience. My family and I came to celebrate my son's birthday. When we arrived, we were seated and waited 10 minutes, and that was only because the hostess was passing by. I asked if they sing a happy birthday song , and he said no. I said okay, thanks, and told him where we were located. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for the ice cream to arrive, and o surprise , it was just a scoop of ice cream with nothing on it. I asked him if the ice cream he sent was the loaded ice cream, and he said that they don't do anything for birthdays, that he sent the scoop of ice cream out of courtesy, but he didn't tell me that when I asked him. He could have told me from the beginning that they don't do anything for birthdays. Anyway, I said fine and asked about the dessert I had ordered, and he said it would take 10 minutes and that he was going to check. He left whit attitude , and when he came back, he told me there was no dessert on the check. I told him that I had ordered it to the server about 15 minutes earlier. He told me he had already put it in and that it would take 7 minutes. This was 6:45. We said okay. 7:00 came and it never arrived. I got up to pay and asked another manager there for the corporate number. She has blonde hair . I told her what had happened and said it was the worst night we had ever had. While I was saying this, a waitress next to her started laughing. I got even angrier. I asked for the corporate number again and she said they didn't have one, that I could call the store and speak to the manager. I asked if it would be Fabian, the same manager, and she said yes. I said, "You know what? I'm leaving." I was really upset. I wanted it to be a special and beautiful night and it was the worst. Just to be clear, the manager, Fabian, never apologized or tried to fix things for us during the entire process. He spoke to us very annoyed and he had no sense of respect or training he seems to be the manager here and he was very rude. The waiters are nice and the place is okay at best. My daughter got the mac & cheese and got insanely sick after she started throwing up and having diarrhea everywhere this has been going on all night and all to the next day. It seems like it's never ending. I called the location to complain and to see if they can give me a refund because this is outrageous. My daughter's three years old she's eaten this meal multiple times before at different locations and never got sick. When I called the manager, he said it's a frozen mac & cheese. I totally understand that it can be busy on a Saturday night and we were lucky to find a spot at the bar while the game was on, but service was awful. We sat at the bar for at least 10 minutes until the bartender took our drink order and we had to ask multiple times for drinks that were missed in the order. We had to wait awhile to make our food orders and even though the game was finished and the place emptied out, it took over 45 minutes for wings and burgers. I'm not sure about everyone else's food, but my fries were cold and I had a ton of jalapenos on my burger, which were not supposed to be on the burger. So, all said and done we were there for about 2.5 hours with no interest in any game that was playing--if it was a Sunday morning that might be different if the right football team was playing. I really doubt we would come back to this location and I can't recommend it, but if there's another BW3s that you're considering, I'd recommend the burgers and wings in general. read more

How awesome it was for me to finally be able to find a BWW location without bad service and bad food? My past experiences at two other locations were SO bad that I had almost given up eating at ANY of their franchise again. I stopped by here today for lunch (Sunday 12:30pm) and the wait was approximately 20 mins - not bad for game day. The place was packed, just like how BWW is supposed to be (please see my review for the Brea location). The host was friendly and my server was prompt to take my order. She checked on my table every 15 minutes and got me refills even without being asked - she was great. So we ask to speak to the manager, and this is where we meet Amber Sanchez the department manager. Amber comes over to our table and already has a condescending tone, but I'm letting it slide because she's the manager of the establishment and I'm going to give her that respect. We ask her why we were rushed when people were still coming in 20 minutes after us. She responds saying she was the one who told us it was last call, so we ask why she said that if it wasn't true. She starts waiving her hands and says, "Do you want drinks or what do you want me to do? What's the problem? I'm busy and have stuff to do." Beyond disrespectful. I let her know the problem is she lied and rushed us for no reason. She apologizes saying she's had a "tough day." Last week was the most unprofessional encounter with an establishment, let alone the manager of said establishment, I have ever had and it's very disappointing. I often visit your location in Montclair, California and have never had a problem anything like this. It seems the management team at the West Covina location may need some additional training because this was the absolute worst customer service, from a manager.
