I like trying different chicken sandwiches from different places. This place has a pretty delicious chicken sandwich, I ordered the one with cajun. My only problem is how messy it can be to eat it because they put more chicken than you'd expect. The reason for that is because one chicken sandwich is already 10 dollars or more. The price for one is pretty high and I think it should be a bit lower. I'd prefer to eat less chicken if it makes the meal cheaper and the chicken sandwich easier to eat. The service was just fine, there were absolutely no issues. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2018 - # 34/100 Located in the food court of the Westfield Mall in West Covina. Here is something different from the usual food court offerings of pizza, Chinese food, burgers and such. Mom got the quesadilla, it was a tad salty but the flavors were good. I got the chicken nuggets. They were made with white meat, these were so good. Also got the sweet potato fries, they were good as well. Mom wanted to buy some more to take home but they sold out. That's how good they were. I don't go to the mall often but I'll definitely get Chicken Now again when I'm in the area. read more

my mon really loved her box of chicken. ive known about this place since i was in middle school since they marinate their chicken overnight, and you can taste that in the chicken. i'm mostly vegetarian so i ordered only fries, they add msg and other seasonings into their fries just as they do the chicken so you know it's tastes amazing. i enjoyed my fries and my mon loved her chicken meal. if you want something nice and tasty that's kind of like canes, try here :-) service was phenomenal too, we were helped out by a wonderful woman. read more

You know when you're at the mall and think you're gonna be in and out so don't worry about eating or anything and then suddenly you realize you made a big mistake and now you're starving? No? Well, that was me and it happens to me all the time! I'm trying to eat..how can I put it...healthyish so I decided to find a salad. On a whim I ended up here. Decent option for a food court. Service was nice and food is made to order which can take about 10 minutes but is well worth it. Chicken tenders and fries were super crispy and piping hot. Generous portion for $10, enough for us to share. Not a huge fan of their sauces so we made due with ketchup. Good option here if you are craving fries chicken. read more

So bombbbb I work at the mall and developed an obsession with this place they see me there so often but everyone is pretty nice! The food is kinda pricey but the taste makes it worth it!! Omg. Rude service. The cashier was wearing glasses, female, and looked pacific islander and was rude to my boyfriend. She sighed when he wanted to add a bottled drink instead of a fountain drink to his order instead. She rolled her eyes at him when he changed his mind when it was 40 cents more for a bottled drink. The food is delicious, but it's not worth it if the treatment is this way. Good luck running business with that kind of cashier. read more

Love their chicken tenders! You don't even need any sauce for it. It's so juicy and flavorful. I must say, the tenders seem pretty small and it's a pit pricey in my opinion. When it comes to "mall food" ... This has easily become my first choice! Chicken now is incredibly fresh , juicy and the batter/coating they use is to die for! I suggest getting the two item lunch box strip meal with the red mashed potatoes a(skin and all) and the plantains!!! O m g I love the house sauce for dipping the strips in too! West Covina location is very fast and very friendly. I would come to this mall JUST for the chicken. Yep THAT good. read more

I think out of the Chicken Now chains I've eaten at, this comes 2nd best. What I ordered was the southwest salad, which is what I tend to stick with everytime I eat at a Chicken Now. What was good: -chicken was crisp and tasted good -spicy sauce was actually good and was spicy! No weird funky flavors like thousand island or anything. What seems to be different: -smaller portion of a salad (but still enough to fill you up, especially if you're trying to eat less) -bread does not come with it. Bummer! The only place that has served bread with this.. was at the Montebello mall. -at first they didn't give enough dressing, but they were nice and gave me another one when I asked.. The price is still up there.. about $6 for a combo meal, which is to be expected with mall foods. read more

Chicken Now is really good. The batter is a bit different from typical chicken tenders. I usually get the four piece w/french fries or mashed potatoes. When they first opened, they had mac&cheese but that quickly got taken off the menu. not quite sure why :/ customer service is fairly decent, the girls who work there are always chatting up w/my brother. go-figure, haha. If you're at the mall & you crave for some fresh chicken tenders, this is definitely the place to go. The sauce that comes with it is AMAZING too! read more

I was at chicken now at the West Covina mall around 6:30 June 9th I was about almost finishing my chicken wrap and there were 2 tiny bones in the chicken, and I bit down on it cause my gum to bleed and almost chip my tooth and I asked for them to make me a new one and the manager told me no and she been on her phone and ignore me and telling me that they can't make me new one for me. read more

I use to buy the 20 piece chicken tenders at least once a month, sometimes more often, and there is usually a line of people waiting to place their orders. Today there was nobody there. When I bought my usual 20 piece chicken order, $23.00, and brought it home I found out why people stopped going there. I couldn't believe it. They cut all the pieces in half. Their chicken tenders are now the size of chicken nuggets. I won't be going there again. read more

Took my sister here for the first time and the chicken came out quick (couple seconds after ordering) which means they probably already had it made. It was really dry, so she asked if they can make her fresh food & all they did was refry the old chicken she ordered. We know because my food was a completely different shade and tasted better. I went to let the cashier know & all she said was sorry about that :/ they didn't fix the problem at all. Never taking her to this location again. read more

This spot charges you for any drink, even if you order a large meal, I asked if I can get Kool-Aid and she said I said lemonade and Kool-Aid costs .50 cents. I guess she didn't hear me right, won't be coming to chicken now any more, I even asked if I can get a large size she did say it was seventy five cents, then said it was fifty. I'm not a complainer but some people take advantage of you and I feel like this happened so I won't be spending another dime, I guess the best chicken now is the one at Santa Anita. read more

Okay, I have been eating at Chicken Now since it came out a few years ago. The cashiers and cooks used to be very polite and friendly. After a few years now they have come and gone but now we have some workers who are not as friendly. The reason I am writing this review with one star is because when my husband and I bit into our chicken tenders, it was pink in the middle. My husband picked up the chicken and put it back into the box it came in to inform the cashier that the cook needs to cook the chicken properly to prevent making someone sick or killing someone. Which the cashier was oblivious and rude to the point where you can tell she didn't care. My husband showed her the pink in the chicken and she continued to act stupid. I will not longer be coming here now that I know Chicken Now doesn't care they are selling raw chicken. read more

The lemongrass Burd was our favorite as it has the best flavor. The classic burd was tender and poached perfectly, but the Krispy Burd was a miss for me, it was the least favorite of everything we ordered. I also ordered the Smashburger combo and I gotta be honest. They're french fries are hands-down the best french fries that I have had in a very long time! My day was kind of crappy super long sat in business meetings where I was invisible. And french fries are genuinely bringing me joy lol! They're crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside perfect amount of salt. My drink is delicious, I haven't even had a chance to touch the brewery yet, but it looks incredible! She never asked for beef. My mother orders the same food every time she goes to Waba Grill so it would be very unlikely for her to order something different. She asked if they could remake it for her but the cashier kept insisting that that is what my mother ordered. She said we don't eat beef so she would never have asked for beef. He kept saying he understood but he repeatedly said that is what my mother ordered. If he actually understood, he would have had the cook remake the order. It was an easy solution! I intervened for her because this could have been easily prevented if they had just given us the correct food afterwards. All they had to do was remove the beef but he simply did not want to. So we asked for a refund. The cashier was then willing to give us a refund but NOT willing to remake the order. I have never witnessed bad customer service like this. Every other restaurant I have been to will always try to fix wrong food orders but the cashier did not want to cooperate with us. He was not wearing a name tag so I couldn't catch his name. He has long hair and it was tied up in a bun wearing a hair net over it. Do better and train your cashiers with proper customer service skills in the future because this is ridiculous...

The food its very good, but service is also a very important part of the overall experience. I hope management takes this situation seriously and addresses it so other customers don't have the same experience.
