Things were not looking good with a 2.1/5 average score. Reading the reviews made us nervous. We decided to take a chance. We are happy we did!!! Was service good? It certainly was. And I'll tell you why. I asked if spicy garlic was good. I got "I don't know. I don't like it. But maybe if you like spicy food." Appreciate the honesty. Hubby ordered a second beer. Never came. But we didn't care because we were having such a good time!! I ordered a beer and server said they didn't have the kind I asked for. Checked and I saw it on the way in on the front door lol. Made us laugh a lot. But overall love our server's energy and overall vibes. Food was fire and nostalgic. Don't let the reviews scare you away. We had a great time and good food. Lots of laughter. This place has the most awesome wings I have ever consumed down my throat muscles. The only complaint I have with this bws is that it keeps making me wanna come back. However at times it feels like the service is a little sub par because they took forever to get my check and I kept wanting to buy more! I am devastated to report this - but overall everything about our experience was poor. I asked for a booth, and regret that. Only because, I would've preferred sitting at a clean table...the ground looked like a small child had thrown their entire meal on the ground, we ended up sitting together on the "cleaner" side of the booth after wiping crumbs off our seats. Our menus were sticky & the table matched. I am praying the table was sticky due to cleaning materials, however, the menus were not clean. 18 minutes later I went to a computer with a few servers and asked that we be seen. They had switched sections & our server didn't know we were her table. We put our food & drink orders in, all which came out quickly, however, I think the wing quality has gone down - near the end of our meal someone nicely cleaned the floor near our table. This is the second time I have attempted to go to this establishment and again the service is so diabolically bad . This time around, I went with a to go order easy enough on the app pick up time was estimated for 4 PM . I got in a little before four waited under five minutes for someone who walked by to greet me and ask if I wanted to be seated. No, I stated I have a pick up order. Great I'll look at that for you. Sat the people behind me checked a few other tables walked into the back never to be seen again. My order finally was brought out at 4:23 PM which typically wouldn't be a big deal except for it's a Monday night. I was bringing dinner home for the family as we had after school events at 5 PM I live over 20 minutes away. Thus ordering the food to go. I think most restaurants understand they have the option for guest to order to go because people don't have time to sit around otherwise they would come to the restaurant to eat inside. In the time that I sat waiting for my online order, I saw four groups of people who waited just to get seated, who eventually just left. I would have been one of those folks and would have gone to the Indian Restaurant that's fantastic in all things in the same shopping center. This place is so hit and miss. They've been missing most of the time lately. Quite honestly the only reason I come here is for the BOGO boneless Thursdays. Last time I ordered it was chaos. A ton of people waiting to pick up their orders because the staff decided to accept some huge order and prioritize that before all the smaller orders. I waited about 45 minutes past the scheduled pick up time. Very chaotic and people were very upset. Doordashers were losing their minds. No real manager to help with the situation. Just a bunch of employees who really didn't seem to care much. Yesterday , I went to pick up my order and after waiting about 5 minutes past my scheduled pickup time, they tell me the oven hasn't been working right so they can't make the pretzel knots. Not a huge deal but more time to wait. They kindly asked what I wanted in its place and the food was out within 5 minutes. They just can't seem to fire on all cylinders. Their only saving grace is the petite, young gal who works at the take out counter. She genuinely cares and seems to be the only one who knows what is going on. I think her name is Ali? As I was getting into my car to leave, I noticed one of their employees walking out to his car as well. His car was parked directly in front of the entrance. I would think those spots are closer to the door would be better reserved for customers rather than employees, but maybe Buffalo Wild Wings doesn't have that as a policy. Whatever. The food was fine. There isn't a QR code to the apple wallet.. for a reason. The Iowa DOT uses the Apple wallet but Buffalo Wild Wings does not. Came in yesterday to have some wings with my family. We normally order out because the service has not been that great in the past years. It seems to have not improved. Our server Leila was very passive aggressive from the moment we sat down. She told us we could order through a QR code but we decided to just order with her since we were all paying together and we didn't know if we could do that through the code. She came to take our order and asked what we are having so I start telling her and she goes "can you wait a moment so I can get my pen and paper to write it down", I was like okay then. Why come up and ask if your not ready. I didn't tell her that but I thought it. My food was good and all but my brothers food had a hair on it and when he went to tell her she just stared and went okay and takes it away to show the hostess. Just unnecessary. First of all just apologize for the incident whether it was your fault or not. It's just common courtesy. She did eventually come back and apologize but the man who sat us came before she did and apologized. No one likes finding a hair on their food it just takes away their appetite. I understand it's a holiday week but it would be nice to be treated nice period. We don't want bad service either just as much as you don't want to be there. Wings are always crispy and juicy though. I haven't been here in awhile due to the horrible service I had years ago however I wanted to give it another try. Thank goodness because this place has definitely turned itself around. The service is absolutely amazing and the food was great. I got my wings right away and was able to enjoy them listening to some great music. Then, 15 minutes later, another woman came over, making sure the waitress took our orders & then again for drink orders. Then, about 5 minutes later, we got our drinks. Then, 15 minutes later, my food arrives, but not my partners. Then 5 minutes later his food arrived. The wings were 1$ for 6, which is a good deal, but they were not good. They were cooked fine but just not good chicken & not good flavor. I took my salad to go & it was fine. The burgers were fantastic. Then, the waitress never checked on us again until I had to flag her down to pay the tab. Do not recommend going after 930pm or on Sunday or the extra wings for 1$. I have been a patron of BW3s for decades and visit them routinely around the country. While I have come to expect my wings to be good but not great, I start all my reviews of BW3's with 3 stars and go from there. This is a nice location, a bit small but clean and friendly. I sat at the bar through a shift change and both the bartenders were nice and friendly. Stopped by Buffalo Wild Wings craving some of their delicious wings and, on that front, they didn't disappoint - the flavors were on point as always. However, the service left a lot to be desired. It felt like an eternity before our food arrived, which is a real appetite killer. Plus, the ambiance didn't do much to lift our spirits; the place could use a serious deep clean. It's a shame because the food quality is there, but the dining experience doesn't match up. Hoping for improvements because I do love those wings! I went to Buffalo Wild Wings last night and was seated quickly. Our server, Mary, absolutely changed the game. Usually, we have pretty bad service, but last night was some of the best service I've ever had at any restaurant. We started with the house sampler as an appetizer, and it delivered. The nachos were amazing, as were the onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and honey BBQ wings. However, the food did take a very long time to come out. Possibly the un classiest experience I've ever had in a restaurant. Not that you expect classy from a bdubs, but I do expect proper service as I would at any establishment. Took our 3 girls for dinner. Waited forever to be served. Finally got our order in and they brought out 1 order for 1 of our 3 girls. 15 minutes later the other 2 got their meals, which by that time our first born was done. Watched our drinks sit at the bar for 10 minutes before we got them. Had to grab our own straws from the bar (we were seated in dining room). When we clearly were dissatisfied, our server began to ignore us more and refused to come to our table. We decided to grab to go boxes on our own and leave. My experience here was not good at all. We got our drink and it took a long time for a server to take our order ( I had to tell him we were ready while he was walking past). I'm not mad at our server but I'm quite frustrated at the kitchen staff. We did not get the the right food. When I got home, I opened my 2 boxes of wings and was disappointed. Are fries so expensive you have to count them in? Maybe I went wrong by asking no veggies but I expected a little more food than this. 2 of the exact same boxes you see pictured for almost $40. Heck no. Maybe I'd give it a try dining in to see if they give a little more food then, but not ordering online again. The quantity for the price you pay really brought it down to 3 stars. I am updating my review from 2 stars to 4. I think they must have recently changed the way they handle things because we have ordered them about 2-3 times since my last review and everything has improved greatly! I also really like the new boxes where everything's sectioned off! Today I called in my order because the app wasn't working and had a 20% off through my rewards. They weren't able to get it to pull up on their either either because of the issues with the app and website, but the manager said they'd honor my 20% off if I showed them my app showing I had it. Which is really great! So, so far no issues with my wings either. I think maybe the new boxes are helping? Idk whats changed but it's working and I'm sooo glad. read more
