Fiery parm never misses and isn't overly greasy. Lemon pepper was solid, just slightly salty. The place is clean, service is great, and while it's a little pricey for takeout wings, it's miles ahead of Wingstop. I came here on a Friday night around 7:30pm and there was no wait for a table for two. We really liked the queso fundido for our appetizer. The lava ranch wings were noted as level 3 spicy, but it wasn't that spicy nor flavorful. On the other hand, the sweet firecracker boneless wings were super flavorful and crispy. My friend and I stumbled in here after having errands nearby on Sunday. They have happy hour all day so we got loaded fries and nachos. Both of which were good and decent portion. The TV viewing in this location is pretty good. Not too much on for a Thursday. The wings arrive and I ask for a second ranch for dipping. The cool ranch with ranch is divine. Either we got different wings or they forgot to add Parmesan cheese to one of them? I'm just confused. We paid almost $30 each for 1 draft beer, 10 wings, the most boring loaded fries I've ever had, and a burger. The fries were $9 crinkle fries that had cheese slapped on top with some crumbled bacon. We've dined in and done takeout a fair number of times. They have a decent happy hour, so recommend for that. As far as foods, it's pretty standard bar food. I like that they have vegetarian options for wings as well. Most wing places don't, so that's a bonus in my book. Extremely solid wings! I had a bad experience at one of their other locations and this visit totally made up for it in every way. The inside had a modern and hip update, and the server was super personable and helpful. He was very concerned with making sure our experience at this location outmatched what we had dealt with before. The wings here were cooked to perfection. Pretty disappointed to write this review. You can see from my previous review that I used to really enjoy this place. I've come here for years and was always singing it's praises but I feel compelled to write this review because of how poor my experience has been. I think everywhere is due a little grace and leniency based on the COVID circumstances and staff issues that places are dealing with so the first time I had a bad experience, I didnt say anything. People are doing the best they can with limited staff and low revenue. Tonight I experienced the same issues again so I need to say something. I ordered take out tonight. A kids meal of boneless wings, wet, sweet and smokey bbq and a 10 piece traditional, spicy garlic butter, extra wet on a bed of curly fries. I arrive, go inside, get my food and leave. I think to myself "I need to check this food. I shouldnt but last time I got screwed so I need to check." I open my sons kids meal and the boneless wings are completely dry. Not a drip of sauce. Straight out of the fryer with no sauce. No sauce on the side. Nothing in the bag. I go back to the host stand and tell them and ask for sweet and smokey bbq. They go to the kitchen and bring a single cup. Not enough to actual cover the wings (especially because the order said wet) but whatever, at this point, my son will be fine. I go home and hand my wife her wings. She opens her wings and there is hardly any sauce on them either. They are literally dry except for some sauce in the corner of the container that leaked through the fries and some drizzled on the box. The wings are dry, not wet, and with hardly any sauce. At this point, we're home in Clifton and there is no going back to get them fixed. This has happened twice. Maybe I'm an idiot and am ordering the wings wrong but I feel like this is a pretty straightforward exercise. This is unfortunate because I do like this place but I'm probably not going to come back and if I do, I'll dine in so I can see the food on the spot. Flat out, overpriced. The wings are tiny. Always. Have gone here for years, they have always been tiny. The sauce selection is great, the wings taste great. But the prices are unreasonably high. The only reason we ever went here was for their wing specials that they do not have anymore. Unless you want to pay $40 a person that is, which is insane for the same thing they charged less than $25 for like 4 years ago. Overall, the food is great but I can't pay $17 for 10 wings **half** the size of anywhere else and do that 5 times over so we can actually order the sauces we love, because, oh yeah, you can't order a 10 count and have two different sauces.
