While I understand this is a franchise, it isn't from Florida, so very different for me!…read more I was very impressed at the full flavor cold brew (and not iced coffee) they had and the assortment of matcha, tea, and lattes for my family. A great place to come back to for any season because they switch out their flavors and merchandise (really loved all of the Yetis on Yeti mugs) Very knowledgeable and friendly staff who were there to chat and help with any question you might have. I was very impressed and was insanely busy and popular... and for good reason! Keep it up! I'll be back before I leave, for sure and grabbed some beans for the road!

Yeti's Grind, what the actual fuck is going on over there?…read more I came in looking for coffee and a cinnamon roll. Somehow I left with five complaints, an identity crisis, and a growing suspicion that nobody in this building has ever met a bottle of leather conditioner. Let's start with the chairs. Those leather chairs are DRY. Not "could use a little moisturizer" dry. I mean divorced-dad-elbows-in-February dry. I sat down and the leather made a noise that sounded like it was begging me to finish it off. Those chairs are one ass cheek away from splitting open like a gas-station hot dog. Buy some leather conditioner. Rub it in. Sensually if necessary. At this point, those chairs need foreplay. Next: the cinnamon roll. WHERE THE FUCK IS THE CINNAMON? Calling this thing a cinnamon roll is like calling a handjob a honeymoon. Technically something happened, but nobody should be satisfied. I want CINNAMON. I want enough cinnamon that when I take the first bite, my Apple Watch asks if I've been exposed to an industrial spice accident. Right now the cinnamon is apparently working remotely. A few other items that need immediate executive attention: First, your napkins have the structural integrity of wet toilet paper. I wiped my mouth once and the napkin disintegrated in my hand like it had just been told it was getting laid off. I need a napkin that can handle some shit. Literally and metaphorically. Second, the bathroom lighting can go fuck itself. I walked in feeling pretty good about myself. Then I looked in the mirror and apparently I'm a 58-year-old fugitive who sleeps behind a Bass Pro Shops. Nobody needs that kind of truth before 10 a.m. Dim the lights. Add a flattering bulb. Hell, install a Snapchat filter. Lie to me. I'm paying for the experience. Third, the tables wobble just enough to make you question whether you're having a minor stroke. Every time I touched my coffee, the table moved. For ten minutes I genuinely couldn't tell if the furniture was unstable or if my nervous system had finally given up. But now we need to discuss the coffee handoff situation because this shit is insane. When you put two drinks in front of customers, isn't it fairly standard coffee-shop behavior to SAY WHAT THE FUCKING DRINKS ARE? Something simple. "Latte." "Mocha." "Yours." "Hers." Anything. Instead, two cups got dropped in front of us like we had just entered the final round of a game show. No labels. No explanation. Just vibes. Am I supposed to smell them? Lick the lids? Take a sip out of both and play caffeine roulette? Have people evolved and nobody told me? Do Gen Z customers now come equipped with some sort of beverage-recognition organ? Maybe I'm supposed to put on Meta glasses: "Scanning..." "Foam density detected." "Vanilla molecules present." "98% probability this belongs to the blonde woman sitting next to you." Maybe artificial intelligence has gotten so advanced that apparently the fucking coffee no longer requires human communication. I might be the idiot here. Maybe normal people can stare at two beige beverages and immediately know their destiny. I cannot. So please, Yeti's Grind: Condition your leather. Put some actual fucking cinnamon on the cinnamon roll. Buy napkins capable of surviving human contact. Fix the interrogation-room bathroom lighting. Stabilize the tables. And when you put somebody's $8 coffee in front of them, maybe tell them WHICH FUCKING COFFEE IT IS. Otherwise I'm calling corporate. I don't know if Yeti's Grind even has a corporate office. But I'm imagining a gigantic pissed-off Yeti in a three-piece suit sitting behind a walnut desk in a mountain cave. And believe me... That hairy bastard is getting an email. Get your shit together, Yeti's Grind. I say this with love. Mostly.

As anticipated, the place was gorgeous...with a slightly formal air. Given that it was in the Vail Village (near the ski slope), my husband was able to enter the place in his rugged ski suit. Despite the ambiance, it was a bit dead. I was disappointed with the lack of French music overhead...though maybe it was on so low, I didn't hear it? There were plenty of breakfast-brunch options, but on the menu, some items were noted as taking 20 minutes (which we didn't have time for!), so I was a tad bummed about that. In any case, my husband chose this Huckleberry Bacon French Toast, and I ordered the Maryland Crab Benedict. For drinks, we both just ordered plain coffee. As expected, the foods were good. I was more impressed with my husband's choice, this super-fancy french toast. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted spectacular! Mine was good, but disappointing at the same time. I really liked the Crab Benedict, but I only half-liked the side salad (basically just Arugula with a few Walnuts and Figs). The total bill for these items ran over 100 bucks... which, was to be expected in Vail. However, for such a pricey breakfast, I felt that I should have absolutely loved it...but it felt short of that. Overall, I just expected a bit more from this breakfast experience. Again, the decor was gorgeous, but the ambiance wasn't fully there (because of the lack of music?). Service felt a bit short-skimpy as well. Foods were good, but mine especially (Crab Benedict) felt a bit lacking. Let's just say that I've had Crab Benedicts as just as good for half the price...and with better sides. Maybe lunch or dinner experience is better here? In any case, am glad we checked out the place...but I doubt I'll choose it for breakfast again.
