Hot table! Fish, chicken, pork and more
    Jim L.

Pleasantly surprised! Ample food, constantly being filled at lunchtime. Buffet at lunch is $11.99. This includes a Mongolian grill, 3 hot buffet islands, a salad island and a dessert table. Service was good, food was good, and great price. I can't eat bird, but there were several options for me, on top of the salad, fruit, and desserts! Yes it's dark, yes the building looks old, but it was packed at lunchtime with workers...a good indication of good food at a fair price

Food is pretty dang good, not super duper write home to mom about but Good. Everything I ate was fresh and tasty about what I expected when I came in, I did not leave a tip because I never leave a tip at a pay before entering buffet!

This place was really disgusting, food wasn't in the right place, the bathrooms were really bad, my family got food poisoning from this place. I walked into the bathroom and there was carvings on the stall door, garbage everywhere, wires hanging down from the ceiling and the mirror looked like it came from a broken down shack. The walls are not done and saw mold coming out of them. There was lightbulbs on the lights that were dead and burnt out and cobwebs everywhere. The sushi tasted like it came out of a baby's butt and it was falling apart on the display. The floor was disgusting and not swept and there was random egg rolls on the counters/shelves. Only reason I gave this place 1 star was because of the service and even then it wasn't the best but it wasn't bad.

    Typical Chinese buffet food

New buffets get me excited, not gonna lie. When I heard this place was new and actually DECENT from someone who's food taste I trust, I was even more excited. However, this ended up being another disappointing Chinese buffet. What REALLY excited me about this place was how there was SUSHI included - and decent sushi I heard. When I went for dinner on a Saturday night, the sushi selection was lackluster. It was good, but the sushi chef didn't use fresh fish. It was all imitation crab meat/an imitation crab meat mixture. The food on the buffet was good, but pretty much like any other Chinese buffet. Nothing really stood out as "the BEST ____ in Tulsa." One plus, though, was their ice cream machine!!! The ice cream was actually decently solid, unlike most other buffets that have ice cream with a diarrhea-type consistency. Service kinda sucked. Our waiter was good at picking up the used plates, but water cups were left empty until I had to flag him down to refill them. There are definitely better buffets out there, but I admit the price was nice - around $7 for lunch and $10 for dinner, if I remember correctly.

Sushi is decent, Mong grill is good

The interior is contemporary. The bar looked fun and made good drinks. The view from the sixth floor is great and sunsets are spectacular. I'd love to be here on a night the baseball team is playing. Let's get to the main event. Edamame was great. What made it different was the salt on the pods. I couldn't place it and didn't ask but it just had a little "something something". Loved it. The recommended tuna nachos were a beautiful maguro cubed with two aioli sauces, jalapenos and some excellent restaurant made wonton(?) chips. Light and flavorful. Interestingly, we had to ask for a nigiri menu while the primary menu had all the appetizers, soups, salads, rolls and mains. Nigiri was good and your standard options. Rice ratio was good and fish well cut and prepared. Rolls were great size and two could feed two people. One person in our group of eight ordered the salmon main and it looked fantastic and she said it was very good. In the Raw Vu, I'm sorry for doubting you. See you next month.

From the corporate operations director to the manager on duty last night, I will NEVER be doing business or dining with them ever again. The manager last night flat out called us out of our names using language I cannot even bring myself to type. In short, all because we asked for our proper change and for our tickets to be reworked. Every restaurant and place of business can do that with ease. That shouldn't call for us to be disrespected. It makes zero sense. Zero. We were respectful, pretty, and paid! We weren't "loud, ghetto, or any (special choice of words)". So with that being said, if you're brown, we're not welcomed there!!! This holds serious weight. This did happen. This will be dealt with in the proper way and through the proper channels. I do not tolerate disrespect of any form.

Yet and still, there are few restaurants that consistently deliver on 3 of the most important consumer qualities: ambiance, food, and service. As a local Asian Fusion restaurant that embraces both cuisine and ambiance, Roka sets itself apart from most Asian restaurants with their cutting-edge menu items, inviting happy hour deals and consistent service. I didn't eat out often growing up but I vividly remember passing Roka & fantasizing what it's like inside given it's one of a kind design. I was first impressed by their fried rice when ordering out in 2015 but this review is regarding my visit on October 25th, 2025. A dear friend of mine invited me out on a Saturday and I suggested Roka, one of the most reliable restaurants in town. We arrived around 4pm and, to my surprise, there was plenty of seating available. We were sat by the host and our server came shortly after. I can't recall her name but she did have great suggestions and delivered quality service. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (reg) while my friend ordered the Sweet & Sour (sm.). The meal arrived in almost record time! I was delighted to look at our colorful, carefully assembled, plates. My meal had a considerable serving size and an even better taste. The chicken was soft, tender and juicy. With compliments from the peppers & rice, I couldn't have been more satisfied. My friend (who is picky) wasn't a fan of the mix of peppers & pineapple but I think she liked it more than she cared to admit. Overall, I had the most pleasant afternoon at Roka thanks to the everpleasing service and most tranquil of settings. It's important to show appreciation to the institutions that you enjoy, which is why I will continue to support/enjoy! Roka provides a welcoming venue, satisfactory menu items and superb service upon every visit which sets itself apart from most other Asian restaurants and above chains like P.F. Changs or Hibachis. If you're in the mood for an affordable upscale dinner with great vibes, this is the place to visit.

Aside from that, they ordered things off the Happy Hour menu and were pleased. Dan and I got the 2 Happy Hour rolls. We would have loved "Some Like it Hot" without the hot sauce. The Dunwell roll is good if you like cream cheese in sushi rolls and many people do. There was a time when Dan and I loved that but now our sushi preference is nigiri and our roll preference is whatever is the closest thing you can get to nigiri. We also don't like signature cocktails. We prefer both our drinks and our sushi to be as close to pure as we can get: martinis and nigiri . We frequently attend Happy Hour at a different In the Raw. We find the service and ambiance better where we usually go. The sake at Brookside was not good. It had kind of a soapy taste. We got domestic beers for our second drinks. We forgot to ask for glasses. Service was slow so we just drank them from the bottle, which we hate to do. The main plus for the Brookside restaurant is the location. During warm weather, the outdoor seating is fun. We had a fun evening with our granddaughter and her wonderful boyfriend. My advice to diners is to ask for the Happy Hour menu anytime you go to any restaurant between 2 PM and 7 PM. This isn't the only restaurant that has a Happy Hour but doesn't promote it. The service is friendly - you order at the front counter and get a buzzer that buzzes when your food is ready at the pickup counter. The boba drinks are good. They have a decent selection of milk teas and fruit drinks as well as toppings. The boba pearls are done right, freshly made so they are soft and chewy like they're supposed to be. Once I ordered popping boba on accident (honey boba on the menu) thinking it was regular boba sweetened with honey and did not like it. They graciously switched it out with regular boba for me which I truly appreciated. My one recommendation would be to adjust the sweetness level if you prefer lighter drinks. The last time I visited I forgot to ask and it was a bit on the sweet side for me. I've also ordered poke and teriyaki bowls from them before and it was ok. The food was fine, it just didn't stand out to me. I usually come here for the drinks but would give the food another try given the good service and atmosphere. Overall I'd recommend Gung Ho as a solid hangout spot that's centrally located with good drinks and plenty of food options.
