If you get a chance, definitely try out this buffet! We have been to many many Chinese buffets and generally Asian buffets because they're not always Chinese food. This one ranks up there with the best that we've had and we've had many across many states. This restaurant first and foremost is very clean. The owner or manager are constantly wiping down the buffet area, and the servers are always wiping the tables down to ensure that they are clean. We've never come in and it's been anything other than very, very clean. Similarly, the food is always very hot and fresh. The staff are always checking the food to see what needs to be replenished and I've never walked up and a pan has been empty and I've never walked up and a pan of food looks anything other than really tasty. That can't be that said for other restaurants because I've been to other restaurants that,while good, the food didn't always look fresh. The sushi bar, which is part of the buffet, is always well stocked also. The gentleman who makes the sushi is always standing at the ready at a nearby station, looking and noticing what needs replaced and replacing it before it's empty. They have your normal Chinese food buffet Staples that you're accustomed to, but they also have different varieties which I have not seen other places... Such as Japanese chicken. I would recommend the teriyaki chicken on the stick... The Japanese chicken... The sesame chicken... And they have fried catfish which honestly is so good that I would go just to get that. If you go, definitely try out the fried fish and they have tartar and cocktail sauces for it over on the salad bar. The buffet comprises of hot food, a large sushi, buffet, soups, lots of desserts, a small salad area, and you can ask for them to bring your hand, scooped ice cream. The service, while generally good, is hit or miss. We've had a server or two which they could've done better but overall it's OK. It looks really nice inside and it's clean and the food is great. The buffet food used to be good as well as the sweet tea but not up to standards on our last visit. It had been a long time since we visited this restaurant but since we were in the Claremore area decided to stop by for dinner. The sweet tea was very weak and tasted watered down. The food on the buffet didn't taste as well as in the past. Several areas on the floor had chunks of mud and were not cleared all of the time we were in the restaurant. Also, I noticed a pan of banana pudding that was left on the buffet line and not replaced as it was almost empty leaving customers no choice for banana pudding. After sometime an employee came out with a food tray of banana pudding for the buffet line. I observed the employee remove the old tray, put the new tray with product on the line, take the spoon in the old tray and scrape every tiny bit onto the banana pudding in the new tray and place the spoon from the tray being removed into the new tray. After returning home, I have had to spend a lot of time in the toilet. This was the only place I ate today and the only meal today. We won't be going back anymore to this restaurant in Claremore, OK. read more

This is the second time this has happened to me. We get there around 5:00 p.m. Food looks good. I sit don to eat and 90 percent of my plate is stone cold. When in Claremore, Oklahoma...you don't have many options that aren't fast food! If you like a good Chinese food buffet, this is the place to go. It's around $12 a person, but the buffet includes some higher end ticket items like steamed crab legs and a variety of sushi on their sushi bar. The fried items are usually tasty, and there is a variety of them. I would say this buffet could stand to have a more menu items that have veggies and aren't fried...but we live in Oklahoma. Decent priced Chinese buffet in Claremore. The place is clean and the service is usually pretty good. They have a great variety of dishes to choose from: all the main staples of a Chinese buffet as well as fresh made sushi and steamed crab legs. Just don't come here expecting a lot if you are on a diet; a lot of the items are fried (I had issues finding enough to eat the last time I was there because I've cut out fried foods). You can request chopsticks if you want them, otherwise the server will give you a fork wrapped up in a napkin. They offer 2 kinds of soup, fruit, cakes, and an ice cream machine with a small toppings bar next to it. Someone in our group said the ice cream tasted like it was made with rice milk, but I didn't verify that with our waitress. We went in around 4pm and made our plates sat down to eat and the food was maybe room temp. When we mentioned it to our waitress the table next to us spoke up and said their food was also cold. So then the waitress goes to the bar, pulls the food then proceeds to come back to the table for use to "feel" that the food wasn't cold. Their excuse was it got cold while we were making our plates. They made us pay full price even though we didn't eat any of the food. Will be making a call to the health department. read more

Asian food in really small southern towns So it could have been nothing less than fate that brought me to this Asian buffet in the really small southern town of Claremore, Oklahoma. I had previously skimmed through the reviews of the restaurants in Claremore in preparation for a business trip there, and had read some positive reviews of another place there allegedly called "Asean Diner" which sold Vietnamese food. I had a fierce craving for Vietnamese spring rolls (a common affliction for me), so I stopped in to Asiana thinking this was the place I'd read about, only to be confronted with an XXXL Asian buffet. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I figured I'd walk the aisles and see what I could see. And I was pleasantly surprised. So I grabbed a plate, and ate: - sushi (I was too scared to eat the raw fish, but the cooked/veggie pieces I had were surprisingly good) - seaweed salad. On an all-you-can-eat buffet! - salt and pepper shrimp (or something sort of resembling this, anyway) - Chinese green beans The buffet was something ridiculously cheap - I can't remember now, but I think it was $6 or $7 at lunchtime. They had the usual sweet 'n' gross Americanized options, but they also had plenty of perfectly serviceable options for hyper-picky-Asian-food-eatin' me. And a soft serve dispenser, to boot. Normally when I head out to Rogers County for work around lunch time, I find myself stopping at Ron's. However back around the holidays in December, as I pulled up to Ron's the place was super crowded with company holiday parties. I had driven by Asiana for years and never stepped in, hesitant to commit to buffet for lunch. Because of Ron's not being an option that day, I threw caution and my fears aside and cruised back to Asiana. Lunch buffet price is not unreasonably priced at $7.95 (not including a drink). The selection, for lunch offering, is actually pretty diverse. It's also a positive sign when an employee is always close by replacing cold food. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer offerings that include dumplings, egg rolls, rangoons, and these fabulous chicken skewers. Also I enjoyed their soup offerings (wonton, egg drop and hot & sour), all flavorful, with plenty of ingredients and not watered down. Some of the entrees offerings were a bit too sweet to enjoy, but the Japanese Chicken stood out as my favorite. They also offer sushi, which while not the best, is by far the worst. And of course, soft serve ice cream is readily available. read more

Honestly, not good... but still we go there at least once or twice a year. If you eat fast, you maybe able to get your money's worth before the nausea sets in, because everything is so sickeningly sweet. Surprisingly the desserts aren't even as sweet as the entree options. One cake that is constantly on the bar seems to have a weird "skin" on it though, so be warned about that. Don't ask for a to-go drink, as they do charge extra for that. So you wouldn't think that a Chinese buffet in Claremore, Oklahoma would have a sushi bar with (hopefully) freshly made sushi at it, but sure enough, it's there! Every time I'm visiting my family, I make sure we make a trip out to Asiana. I don't pay attention to most of the food, and I go straight for the sushi. Usually we go on Sunday during lunch, so the sushi has always tasted fresh and delicious. They have TONS of variety here, with something for everyone. I did go once during dinner, and the sushi was a bit of a let down. I'm hoping it hadn't been sitting out all day (because really, who IS going to Asiana for the sushi?) but it didn't taste very fresh. They have all of the traditional Chinese buffet food too, and more options than most buffets I've seen. Especially for a small town. I've been more than impressed every time I go. read more

ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO STARS: We Saw RATS! my husband & I went today (March 13, 2021) for lunch. We made our plates & sat down at our table. We immediately noticed how dirty the floors were. My shoes were sticking to the tile from some type of sticky residue, lots of dust & food remains were underneath each table. Several workers were standing around but no one was to concerned about sweeping or mopping or cleaning dirty areas up As Visually &!GROSSLY needed. While eating, he & I were discussing how the appearance of the restaurant has gone down as well as the quality of the food. WE had just agreed that we would not be back, becuz Nothing was hot, nothing really tasted fresh. Nothing tasted as good as it use to many years ago. Then suddenly my husband said babe LOOK, there in the middle of the floor across from us stood a rat Nibbling on crumbs of food, it scared me so i gasped in shock. Some other diners said, is that what we think it is? The rat ran away towards the station that the servers prepare drinks that was originally the drive thru window area. We then noticed our server with a blue plastic cup trying to capture the rat. She didn't get it and as it ran away a smaller one followed it. I stood up and told our server that "IM DONE" almost about to vomit-- my husband & I made it out the door and (2) other guests followed. Our server was apologetic but it wasn't her fault. 3 hours have elapsed since we were there & my husband & I have thrown-up multiples times. The food was bad, the environment was filthy, and we have upset stomach. So ENTER & EAT at your own risk.
