The inside of the left cheek right at the opening corner of the mouth had a bump/growth/scar tissue there. Many of the dentists I saw in the past stated the bump/growth/scar tissue needed to be removed. But they could not do it and I needed to see an oral surgeon. She saw the issue and told me she would laser it off in the office. I had that done today in 20 minutes. No charge. Where is this ever going to happen??? Dr. Ashley Currington, DMD cares about her patients. This was a simple procedure. I tell everyone I see about the great treatment you receive in her practice. You can't call what Dr. Currington does for her patients-practice. She gets it right every time. I have a very nice smile thanks to her and her staff. I recommend you check her out for ALL your dental needs. You will be glad you did!! Brian H.

They took photos of my teeth and showed them to me on a large monitor to point out where I had tooth decay. Since there were so many "cavities" they divided the work into two appointments. The first appointment was very uncomfortable, the dentist seemed rushed and didn't want me to swallow as often as I needed to. I was sick with a sinus infection and tried to cancel the 2nd appointment on the Friday before a Tuesday appointment over a holiday weekend. They were very aggressive about wanting to charge me for the appointment. I decided to get a second opinion and actually got two other dentists to look at the photos and x-rays and they both said the so-called cavities were only stains and natural wear on the teeth and did not need treatment. Sadly, I had already paid for over $2K in unneeded and uncomfortable dental work.

Let's start by saying that I usually only write reviews when I'm passionate about something or an…read moreexperience has affected me in such a way where I need to schedule some time during the day to express myself. Today was my first time visiting the Mall of Georgia Dentistry office. And I'm almost a little hesitant about writing this review because I selfishly don't want more people to find my new forever dentist's office, haha, but they certainly deserve a positive review for the great experience they provided me today. Let me begin with the staff that worked with me today. Ashley (Dental Assistant), Dr. Whyte (Dentist), and Abby (Dental Hygienist) was the best dental team I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of in my 30+ years of being alive on this planet. The only thing that can surpass their dental care is their wonderful, kind, and fun personalities. From the moment I got into their office, I felt that I was a priority for them. Ashley guided me to my chair, asked me about my dental history, laughed about different things, etc. Then Dr. Whyte came to review my teeth and raved about my fabulously maintained teeth and gums (I'll explain why this is important in a bit), and she provided knowledge about dental care that I wasn't aware of already. Then to complete the service, Abby cleaned my teeth ever so gently while providing great conversation. Both Dr. Whyte and Abby recommended that I don't change anything about my dental routine at home because my dental health was one the best they've seen. They scheduled my next appointment and gave me a goodies bag to take home. Now let me tell you about why this experience was something I had to write about. I just recently moved to the Mall of Georgia area. I was coming from another dentistry practice that I could've continued to use because they have another office nearby my new home. However, the experience I had there the last few times I visited was SO unpleasant that I had to find a new dentist. First, I mentioned that my teeth were confirmed to be healthy and I knew this was the case because I religiously take care of them. But at the previous dentist, they told me that my teeth were in such poor health that I needed to visit the dentist four times a year versus just the two. I knew something was off about this and later found out from other reviews left online that this practice told others the same thing to make more money. Second, the last time I visited this other dental office, the hygenist was SO bad at her job that my gums were bleeding and my entire mouth ached. She replaced a previous hygenist, who was the only positive thing about that practice. She left the organization probably because of their shady practices. Anyway, this isn't about the previous dental office, but I felt I had to mention them to portray the 180-degree difference in care that the Mall of Georgia Dentistry provided me today. So in conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Mall of Georgia Dentistry. I almost wish I needed to visit them four times a year versus just the two because I had such a good time.

I try to be an understanding person when a service/food experience is just horrible to try not to get anyone fired. Somehow when I leave I'm able to look at the positives and I walk away just not going back to that location again. I'm going to change that today as I am now fed up completely. I initially called this dentistry on the recommendation of a friend. I called for Dr. Noorani and apparently he was booked for almost two months. I have a root canal that needs to be done and so I was obviously in tons of pain. They tried to have me go with another dentist at the office. Due to my horrible experience with bad dentists I did not want to take a chance and I told them to just give me Noorani's next available appointment. I waited just to get a call the day before that my appointment is cancelled. The office KNEW i was in pain and that I waited for this dentist yet I get a call almost two months later with them trying to throw the same dentist that I initially declined. I was extremely upset as I was in tons of pain but I gave it another chance (people make mistakes right?). The front desk lady said she would book me for a consultation appointment (with a different dentist a week and a half later) to just view it so they can prescribe me medication for pain control/antibiotics and then the Monday afterwards would give me my appointment with Noorani in the morning. The first Monday comes around for my consultation and I was still out of town for work, I call to let them know and ask them if they can just do the consultation on the same day (Noorani appointment) and ill get through the pain till then. She then tells me I never booked your appointment for next Monday. When I asked why she said "I wasn't sure if you wanted it". So you booked me for the consultation on Monday but didn't book the main appointment that I have been waiting for over 2 months (close to three now) with the busiest dentist in the world?! She then tells me my first appointment wasn't a consultation and Dr. Noorani was going to start the procedure... I had never been more confused in my life. I was completely silent over the phone and then she gives the final blow by saying that Dr. Noorani has also said he will only do the root canal if I let him also do the crown!!!?? This was something we spoke about the first day I called and they specifically knew I was going to another dentist for my crown and he is a dentist that doesn't have an issue with it. BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN he wants to do my crown which is very expensive almost $1000 over my primary dentist. By far my worst experience ever from a medical professional. You would hope that people in this field care about your medical needs and at-least stay true to their word. Calling a patient 2 months later the day before an appointment to cancel and making sudden ultimatums is completely unethical and to be frank upsetting. Man, I feel a little better now. Is this why people do this? Hopefully I don't see you yelpers again. Take care

My braces was completed faster than expected plan, and it looks as I expected. Filling was pretty standard, but one of my filling fell off after 3 years (it was at the edge and I guess I bit too hard). The wisdom teeth removal was excellent for me (for the two upper teeth). It was done too fast that I prepared myself for nothing. They also gives clear instruction and called to check everything is fine. I didnt even have to take ibuprofen at night because there is no pain (only takes one dose because I was afraid the pain would kick in). One plus thing is when they inject the anesthesia medicine, they did pretty well and I didnt feel pain, so that alone could be enough for me to go here. This place is always busy lol and you know if a place is busy it means they did good. I must admit that the price is slightly higher than the other online quote I found (but you know quote means nothing and I only have been going here so I really cant say lol), but you get what you pay for. If you have good insurance and want to have a good experience, I would recommend this place. The Good: The end result of the cleaning service is very good, but not the best. The Bad & The Ugly: After a cleaning service, a dentist typically comes in and evaluates or inspects the teeth. At least, this has always been my experience elsewhere. At this place, the dentist marches in with dollar signs in his eyes as though you walked in with 15 missing teeth, an overbite, and a misaligned jaw. It is clear that the objective is not to give you a clean bill of good oral health, rather, it is to tell you a host of services that you "need" that they are all to happy to go ahead and jot down in your file and get you set up with an appointment ASAP! I have a reasonable tolerance for nonsense, having dealt with the public in my career, so while the salesman, er, dentist was rattling off procedures, I just said "Hmm, hmmm." After he left the room, I was more than ready to go. But wait! The hygienist asked me to wait a moment while she left the room. That "moment" turned into what felt like 15 minutes of nothing, so my patience did expire, and I made it clear that I needed to go and asked WHAT IS THE WAIT FOR? That's when she owned up and said that they were pricing out all of the procedures and were creating a price list. Why the secrecy? Why couldn't the wait request have included an advisement that they were working on that? I'll tell you why, it's because they knew that there was NO way in you-know-where that I was going for that schtick! I had been here twice, and BOTH times, it was the same song and dance. Continue to wait? Nope! I left! Things may have been different if I have said, "hey Doc, I don't like xyz about my teeth, can you make a recommdation?" But, to just get a cleaning and having an it-ain't-broke-but-we-can-fix-it experience is beyond the pale for a medical facility! That's just like going to the service department at a car dealership. You go in for a simple oil change, but they come back to you with a price list for an urgent engine replacement and a new radiator. Smarmy, grimy, slimy to say the LEAST! If this practice is hard up for cash, how about getting out in these streets and offering services to those who actually need them? I see jacked-up mouths literally everywhere I go. Literally. Stop trying to make money by the hard upselling. They will see me again on the 12th of NEVER! I do NOT recommend for standard dental care services!
