We never received this service of extermination of the inside of properties. Normally if the properties get exterminated they are done outside and I needed something done right away .... So I had to pay the cost. My husband was getting bit all over his arms and they were like chicken pox (swollen).... I had Brandon from this company come out to exterminate for bugs, which turned out to be Bed Bugs (which I had no idea that I had that problem)... I felt so embarrassed and Brandon reassured me that it was probably NOT my fault as it can happen to the best of us who have people visit us as they might have bed bugs attached to their clothing and bed bugs travel with people through luggage; through business airline seats ; at restaurants seats; from hotels and the best of upper-end resorts. So-- I felt better knowing that this bug is quite common . Brandon was very detailed in showing me what a bed bug looked like and where to look for them and came up with my total cost for his services. His extermination service came in 3 visits instead of one for a total cost of $275. Most exterminators charge that fee for just one application...I have not seen a bed bug since and he finished exterminating for Bed Bugs a week ago. I liked his service so much that I hired him on for a monthly basic service ($45.) a month to spray for other bugs (peaty creatures) and this will be done monthly until I say to stop. I recommend him and feel he is honest and trustworthy as we had to leave our premises for over 2 hours and he was very careful with moving our furnitures when finished. Today, I'm totally happy and trust that if we have that problem again, he will be available to help again.

Betts was recently bought out by Orkin. I scheduled an appointment that was for bait station servicing and inspection for termite activity as a precursor to selling my farm. There was confusion when the inspector arrived for the appointment. I was told that they could not inspect the stations as part of an inspection and they would have to be serviced by someone else. In the course of our conversation the Orkin area manager got on the phone, was rude, not understanding, and got mad. What I did not know was that he cancelled my contract without notice. when I called the number to schedule my service again I was told my account had been cancelled and I was unable to schedule the service. I cannot remember the area manager's name but will find out and post another review. This company's corporate mission statement are just empty words. The district manager is unprofessional, uncooperative, and made a bad situation much worse. I never had an issue with Betts,but this company is managed locally by a really spiteful ass!! Orkin is owned and headquartered in Atlanta,where I live full time. My intention is to schedule a meeting with the CEO to discuss this mismanaged misadventure. Hopefully they will show this clueless cowboy the door. Keep in mind that I had already paid for the service that cannot be scheduled. I would stay clear of Orkin.

Whenever we had even a slight sign of pests returning, they came back immediately to take care of them and without added expense. Our technicians were knowledgeable and professional. Then we moved out of state on short notice. They contacted us when they saw the house was empty and were prompt to cancel our service when I explained that we had moved. A month later, we received a check refunding the cost for the part of the year we didn't use. We had such a great experience with them from beginning to end that I had to write a review!

It has now been another week, and I still have never heard from her. I completely understand that small businesses can be busy and short-staffed. What I don't understand is repeatedly telling customers you'll call them back and then never following through. If you're unable to take on additional work, just be honest and say so. Customers can respect an honest answer far more than being left waiting week after week for callbacks that never happen. The biggest issue wasn't the scheduling it was the repeated lack of communication and follow through. After more than a month of trying to schedule service, we were repeatedly brushed off with promises of callbacks that never came. Their pricing may be competitive, but in our experience, the lack of communication simply wasn't worth the savings. We have decided to take our business elsewhere.
