I mentioned to him saying "I thought you wouldn't charge for a closed valve". He replied "It's not who you call it's what you know". Really? Temperatures were as high as 86 degrees which made conditions particularly difficult especially when trying to sleep. I change the air filter every 3 months and I clean the outside unit annually as well. After about a week of feeling sauna like conditions I called AIRCO. Nhiayee and Page arrived earlier than expected which was awesome because I was given a late afternoon appointment. I greeted them and explained the situation and helped them locate the electrical outlet and the water supply. From there, Nhiayee assessed the problem and explained that the Freon was low indicated by the dry, refrigeration line. After giving the outside unit a cleaning and flushing and filling the unit with Freon which was necessary due to the advanced age of the system. Page and Nhiayee advised that it would take several hours to get the temperature back to an acceptable level and that we should be comfortable going forward. I thanked them both and they were on their way to satisfy more customers. Thanks again for everything and we are appreciative of the quality of service and the kind and personable employees who work for Airco. Continued success to you exponentially.

5 year old a/c system blown by technician. Now living in a 95 degree home with senior…read more Airco installed my brand new a/c and heating system in 2020. Now in may 2026 had a humming sound at condensing unit. Fan wouldn't come on and then tripped breaker. Airco tech came out. Said it was capacitor. Replaced capacitor and I heard a loud boom! Came to investigate and refrigerant was spraying out of unit. After about 15 minutes tech said it was a bad compressor. Compressor was fine before he came. Said parts under warranty. Labor to change compressor and charge was over $2500. That's a ridiculous price considering I bought this new from this company 5-6 years ago. 4 ton Lennox unit. I called and spoke to a service manager "Dave" and asked him why it would blow if thermostat was off. 2nd tech came out from Airco to diagnose. He couldn't tell me why compressor had a terminal blowout. Just said he noticed one of the wires to capacitor was not hooked up? Ok. So 1st tech. Made a mistake and I'm having to suffer. Beware. Tulsa Plumbing Repair completed the replacement is a very professional manner within his quoted 24 hours. It turned out that Bob had performed several plumbing repairs in my home in 2021. I should have called him first!
