I rarely write a terrible review. This has to be the worst so far. I've eaten here a total of six times. So far, chicken wrap is just a chicken wrap. Tacos, pork and chicken were no difference. Couldn't even tell which was which and steak taco was cold. Didn't eat it. An entire core from the cabbage was in my 1/3 cup serving of Coleslaw. So underdressed neither the waitress nor I could tell it was vinaigrette or creamy. Wow! Steak wrap was non seasoned. Perch was he worst we ever had anywhere. Bones in every bite. Beef sandwich is such a low quality Arby's is better. I would love to come there and show them how to make some great dishes. But as for now I guess I'll just drink my overpriced beer at the bar. $5 specials for Guinness on St pats day. Wow what a bargain. Everywhere else around the lake was $2-$3. read more

There were 5 other tables that ordered after us, that we saw receive our food before us. 3 of our meals were good, but one was cold. There yesterday. Really cool place with nice lake view. Love the decor which i guess is the art. Service poor. Took forever to recieve our drinks. My husband had almost finished his 1st beer and my drink had not been served to me. I had to go in and inquire about mine, which was sitting on the bar. I felt like they kept overlooking us and our order. Taco ok for a $3.00 snack. Good portion size. We will go back again since atmosphere was awsome. I think i will try a club sandwich next time. Went to Bugaboo's after giving it a several months break. Got there about 2:15 pm on Sa/8/19/17 - so in between the lunch and dinner crowd and not very busy. We were seated then ignored. Started the timer on the cell phone and after 15 minutes decided to get up and leave. Oh, now the employees notice us, and try to entice us to stay by offering us drinks. Ah, no... This place has a rep for bad service and lived up to it on this day. It's too bad bcuz it has a great view of the lake. Oh, another reason we left? We got a good look at the menu and realized there is nothing on it that stands out as something we had to have = booooring! And kinda pricey for what you get. Maybe we'll give it another long break and stop in for a drink at the bar over the winter. We want to like this place, but they don't make it easy... read more

Have been here many times and each time it gets worse. They obviously don't have experienced management in place. The food took over 20 minutes... for a beef sandwich. It arrived ice cold so you know it sat for awhile. Asked for grilled onions, they were just shy of uncooked. Fries were ice cold. Told the bartender/server and she said she would fix it. Nope. On to the drinks. It took forever to get a drink. Sat there empty quite awhile. You could say they weren't prepared for a holiday but it's like this EVERY single time and getting worse. They sunk a ton of money into the place and it has amazing views. What a shame they can't get their act together because it has the potential to be great. I would say start fresh by hiring experienced line cooks and experienced bartenders and servers and manager. I can't imagine how they handle a night crowd with live music when they can't even handle an afternoon crowd. Location couldn't be better. Our waitress was very sweet, but didn't seem to be very knowledgeable on what she's trying to sell, however, the food and the "management" was just awful. The wife and I rode the Harley here on Mother's day. It was our first time there since they opened the place so we thought we'd stop for an outside beer on the new deck on a beautiful day and see what was what. First thing was the hostess telling us, "There's nothing outside." even though a glance through the opened overhead door to the patio indicated to me there were a bunch of empty seats just outside. We told her we weren't about to stay and sit inside on a gorgeous day and were about to leave when she appeared to change her mind, told us to wait a second, went outside, came back immediately and then said there WAS a table. Yeah, right, like she hadn't already known that. I'd noticed the, "No Colors" sign on the way in so I'm assuming she would have preferred that we two biker-looking folks remain indoors and out of sight rather than sitting out there in plain view of everyone out there on the deck. Bummer. Anyway, we followed her outside and sat down at a table. I saw that all the vacant seating I'd seen earlier from inside was actually a ring of bench seats surrounding on all sides a massive, portable, metal fire-pit type deal, all of it taking up a WHOLE lot of the real estate on the relatively small deck. (NOTE TO BUGABOOS - Lose that massive fire-pit-seating-area and fill all that now-wasted space with, like, five or six more usable tables. It's SUMMER! You don't NEED a fire pit taking up most of the patio!) Our waitress finally shows up and begins speaking, only thing is we can't hear a freakin' word she's saying. There we were, sitting on an outdoor patio right next to a road where loads of vehicles, healthy-sounding muscle cars and loud motorcycles are constantly rumbling past and she's talking in a whisper like the "low talker" on the old episode of Seinfeld. If that was what she thought was her, put-on, "sexy" whisper voice, it wasn't. It was annoying. (NOTE TO WAITRESS - Turn on your OUTSIDE VOICE!) I immediately and politely told her she was going to need to speak up. She didn't. Still in sexy-whisper-voice mode, she told us her name which I immediately forgot. The only reason I was even able to hear her say it was a sudden lull in the traffic noise. I asked her what beers they had on tap. Still whispering, she named what I think were a few craft beers I'd never heard of before and wanted nothing to do with anyway. Beer isn't wine. I don't need "craft". I don't want "craft" I want beer. Good old domestic beer that doesn't cost five, six or seven dollars a glass. My wife asked her if they had any Miller beers on tap. The waitress hemmed and hawed, still in whisper mode, until I eventually said, "Miss, these are REALLY easy questions we're asking you here. " She sexy-whispered that she was new there and I said, "That's all you had to tell me. Please go ask the bartender what Miller beers you have on tap." She sexy-whispered something or another, hell, could have been her Christmas wish list from when she was five years old for all I knew because I couldn't understand one, single word of it. FINALLY she comes walking back out and sets two, open bottles of High Life on the table. "What's this?" I ask her, "We didn't ask for bottles." Her mouth opens and her lips start to move but right then there's a cherry-looking, blue, big block Chevelle convertible with a lopey cam and loud headers rumbling past so if there were any, actual English language words coming out of her, we never heard them. I lost control just a touch and in what my wife would later describe to me as what sounded like my brand-new, drill Sergeant voice, I exclaimed, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" My wife placed one hand on my arm, gave me a subtle, side-to-side shake of her head, turned back to the waitress and said, "We asked you what Miller products you have on TAP. We don't want these." Still in her sexy-whisper-voice, the waitress said something unintelligible to my wife, I looked toward the heavens throwing both hands up it the air as the waitress spun on her heels and marched back into the bar. While the two bottles still remained there in the hot sun where the waitress had abandoned them, my wife looked at me, lowered her sunglasses and rolled her eyes. Followed by the hostess, our low-talking, sexy-whisper-voice waitress eventually returned and somehow managed to communicate to my wife (whose hearing is apparently more acute than my own) that they don't have any domestic beers on tap. With that my wife popped up from her seat like a jack-in-the-box and started quickly striding back inside and toward the door. I got up and followed, advising the waitress as I passed (and thereby the hostess as well, I hope) that if she's going to be working on the loud, outside deck of a bar in the Summer, she REALLY NEEDS TO START SPEAKING UP! Came in this evening with a party of five adults for dinner. We sat for approximately 25 minutes with no one even bothering to acknowledge us let alone take our drink order yet every table around us were having food and drinks dropped off constantly. The same staff that were sitting in the back smoking when we arrived were still out there smoking when we left. Perhaps that's part of the issue they seem to be having with the horrible reviews regarding service that is a common theme in almost all of the reviews. This was the first time here and it was great. Especially for the summer, it was nice to sit outside and watch the lake. There is a very relaxed environment, perfect for after work or a day off. This bar is biker friendly but not overwhelming for families to enjoy as well. Perfect place to dock and walk across the street. Jade was my server and she was very friendly, attentive, and personable. She was quick to recommend her favorites and told me about the specials before I had to ask. Ok, had high hopes for this place but it really let us down!! First, ordered the mashed potato balls. They tasted ok but they were definitely missing something. Second, it took about 40 minutes for us to get our food!! I would understand if it was packed but it really wasn't even that busy. Third, I ordered the perch, it was pretty decent, nothing special. My wife got the buffalo chicken wrap, it looked thrown together and she stated several times that it just didn't have flavor. Every time our waitress would return to our table she would smell so badly of cigarettes. Finally, as we were leaving, there was a man who appeared to work at the restaurant that was sitting on a bench behind the restaurant, with no shirt on, smoking a cigarette. Bartender was great such a sweetheart. She was rudely interrupted by management the entire service to do this and do that. Bartenders couldn't do anything because woman manager wouldn't stop loudly interrupting service. I was amazed at how rude she was as a manager I said something in regards to service and how she treated her employees and she put her hand up to me because she was on the phone. Then told me "I was too young to understand" when she finally got back to me with my comment. I made a comment how she wasn't going to talk to me as a paying customer the way she was, and she proceeded to tell me to leave the premises. Food was okay, but management needs to be replaced. Period. I wouldn't go plan on going here if your wanting to have any sort of good time. Embarrassing and awful experience. The 1 star is for the bartender who followed us out and apologized immediately for the awful experience that we had. Discrimination is obviously tolerated here. I am not sure why the negative reviews are posted We went last night and could not have been more pleased. We were greeted at the door politely by a young staffer. We stated we wanted to have a drink at the bar before going to the dining room. The bartender informed us of their special drinks for the evening. We enjoyed the drinks and service from the bar. We were promptly seated in the dining room and were promptly waited on by a friendly knowledgeable server. Our food was quite good served in generous portions. The table was cleared promptly after we finished. We were not rushed to leave, even though they were busy. We will be going again. I can't wait for summer to enjoy the view on the deck. read more

Ok, let me start by saying how excited we were to check this place out- and wow! What a disappointment! We started with the mozzarella wedges which were really good only if the marinara sauce wasn't like red colored water. We waited forever for drinks and didn't get ice water when we asked. My husband got some kind of stuffed burger that was barely stuffed. I got the bacon ranch chicken wrap that was just a wrap. Not seasoned, no flavor, nothing special at all. We were told their claim to fame was their hamburgers so that is what we ordered. The toppings/condiments are mixed into the hamburger meat. On paper this sounds good, in practice you end up with a crumbly hamburger that barely has a taste of anything on it. Prices were moderate, service was ok, restaurant was clean, atmosphere was fine.
