History

Attorney Bugden has extensive courtroom experience beginning in 1990 when she prosecuted criminal and juvenile cases for the State of Illinois. After learning basic trial skills, she spent the next 11 years defending individuals charged with criminal cases and arguing dozens of jury trials. She also represented parents in various stages in juvenile court, including Adjudicatory and Dispositional Hearings. In other juvenile cases she was appointed as the minor's Guardian Ad Litem. The last 6 years of her legal career have been committed to representing single parents in family and divorce court, including custody disputes. Attorney Bugden also represents individuals in landlord/tenant cases and in Bankruptcy Court in Northern Illinois.

Meet the Business Owner: Lucinda B.

Lucinda has over 11 years experience successfully defending individuals charged with criminal offenses and abuse/neglect charges in juvenile court. She has defending juveniles charged with various types of delinquent offenses. Since 2005 Lucinda has concentrated her practice in divorce, custody and other family issues. She expanded her practice to include other social issues including housing, bankruptcy and property tax appeals. She is licensed in the Northern District of Illinois for Bankruptcy cases and is a member of the Illinois State and Winnebago County Bar Associations.
