This sweet little truck was nestled down at the end of a side street where I was greeted by the warmest smile and friendliest hostess you'd hope to find at the crack of morning. Before ordering, my wife asked about their chai and warned them I was a "chai snob." They laughed and were genuinely interested in how their chai stacked up. The barista let me know they brew a local blend of chai from The Timeless Teacup and that it's a cardamom-forward masala blend. All of that just sounded delicious, so I was down for it! The chai did not disappoint! While it was a bit sweeter than I prefer, the warm & spicy notes were all there and it was a delicious, unique flavor I would have again. As a bonus, walking the market, we came across the Timeless Teacup's stall and learned a bit more about their blend. Super personable and passionate tea people who love what they make and do! Also huge so I had enough for another meal the next day. When I return I will order the same thing. My husband brought a birthday cake in for me and our server brought that out at the end of the meal with plates and forks for everyone. We forced her to take a piece for her break, which she goodnaturedly did. There is only one tiny tiny thing to mention: It did take a long while for the 5 year old's drink and food to arrive. Not anyone's fault, it was very very busy. But try to explain that to a 5 year old. Rolls were served but they were too spicy for her. Or maybe the butter was spicy? The entree was a showstopper, though - grilled elk chops with a pomegranate glaze and country mashed potatoes. They were scrumptious, and the al dente vegetables cooked in with the potatoes gave them a nice toothsomeness. One of the best entrees I've had in quite some time. It's nice when a menu gives you a protein choice you don't see everywhere. Parking is fine, with a paved lot in front and spaces on either side of the adjacent street. Service was welcoming and efficient.
