I have never written a review before...or had a need for a pest consultant. I have a room I rent and the man who rents it said he was being bit and thinks we have bed bugs. Well, being very fastidious and clean I freaked! There were no bugs anywhere else in the home and I was skeptical but scared. I called Bugzilla (Ivan) and he answered my call immediately!! He calmed my fears and talked me through the best and worst scenarios. He came out and did a thorough consultation. He went above and beyond giving me advice on how to handle the situation to prevent any bug infestation in the future. He explained the products and eased my fears of using anything that could harm my cats. He even looked at a potential mouse problem and gave me advice on that. Stellar, truly. I don't write many reviews online, in fact this is only my second ever... but I had to come here and give two enthusiastic thumbs up for Ivan and Bugzilla. Ivan is not only extremely knowledgeable, communicative, and professional, but he is very sensitive to family pet issues and making sure there are no impacts from treatments. Ivan explained the materials he was using, where and how and why it is applied, and uses only products that are safe for pets (but of course do the trick for the things you don't want hanging around). Ivan also did a pre-purchase inspection for us to tell us what we were in for since this was a new house purchase for us. Since Bugzilla's treatment our house is clear inside and out, and Ivan has been very gracious with his time when we had a few follow up questions. I had a serious problem with ticks. I have black dogs and finding tics on them is impossible until the things are huge and GROSS! Plus I was finding them on me every time I went out the door and came back in from a little gardening. My son has been seriously ill with chronic lyme disease so I know first hand how much devastation these creatures can cause. I contacted Bugzilla at the recommendation of a friend. The response was quick. I love that the treatment is eco-friendly and won't harm my pets or the birds and bees. I love even more that it worked! Since Ivan's been here I've gone from removing multiple tics from myself and my dogs daily, to finding one or two in a month. WOW! The entire experience with Bugzilla has been seamless and SUPER EASY! Ivan is really the best! His level of customer service is amazing! He follows up, he answers questions, he arrives when he says he will, he calls if there is a problem, really, one of the best home service providers we have ever worked with. Unlike other pest guys I've used in the past, he doesn't do a "quick in and out spraying." He seems to place a high value on safety and actually took his time in my home. Ivan came to our rescue when we found a wasps nest the size of a basketball taking residence on the side of our house. He was every bit professional from the start. He Immediately scheduled with us and kept in communication, showing up exactly when he said he would. Ivan was super friendly and a wealth of wasp knowledge as he prepped for the their eviction. You couldn't help but feel his passion for his work. He even put up with me getting in his way while I watched the process and asked a million stupid questions. So, my 4th of July party was coming up, and the mosquitoes last year were ridiculous. I wanted to get the town to spray, but decided to try a safer alternative (I have dogs, kids..). Ivan came here and worked for a while. He went down behind the house, into the woods in back, took care of the front and back of the house. It was excellent. There were no bugs. Nothing.
