My current dentist retired so I had to find another dental office. I remembered I used to go to Steven Bui like 25 years ago. Long story short, I called the dental office and made an appointment to come in for a cleaning And to my surprise his staff is super friendly, efficient and made sure I was taken care of. Now, I'm having 4 old crowns replaced as they are old. I have to say my new crowns are smaller and fits nicely. I'm so glad I called Dr. Bui's office and have him worked on my . He is so cool and outgoing. If you're looking for a dental office, you need to call and make an appointment. I highly recommend this dental office!!! read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Bui for some years now and I'm truly a fan. I normally hate going to the dentist but he always makes my experience truly a pleasure. He offers the best dental care, hands down. He treats his patients just like family and he reminds me of my dad or uncle, always joking around but cares for you. He's very professional and never tries to upsell you on anything. I had another dentist before and they were just terrible. Ever since I switched to Dr. Bui, my teeth have been in perfect health. I have been a patient with Dr. Bui since I was 17 years old, a whopping 36 years, and every visit is good, it would be great but I am going to the "dentist" after all! Of course once I started having my family, all my children went and I referred all my other family members and friends. He is a great dentist with a kind & funny bedside manner. His back staff is professional and careful and the front office staff is terrific with plenty of smiles. It is rare that you get all three areas to be five stars! I became a patient of Dr. Bui when he took over the practice from another dentist, longer ago than I can remember. It must be at least 30 years ago, probably more. He has always been very professional, very friendly and has NEVER tried to upsell or overcharge for anything. For years we would drive over 40 miles to go to his office because I could never find another dentist to compare with him. We currently have dental insurance that is not accepted, so have reluctantly moved offices. When in doubt about a treatment, though, we still pay for an office visit out of pocket to get Dr. Bui's opinion. My son has a HUGE fear of the dentist, but he drives from Riverside, almost 40 miles, to see Dr. Bui. All my (grown-up now) kids think he is the best dentist on the planet. My husband and I agree. I wish I could give him more stars. read more

He has gotten me to smile more often now :o) [He is sooooo good at repairing chipped teeth, I've chipped a few in my days...and he fixed them all really nicely] Note: only PPO dental insurance is acceptable, unless you want to pay out of pocket. Okay, here goes! Growing up I hated going to the dentist. A few years ago, I had the worst experience with a dentist in Long Beach which completely turned me off. I asked a few of my friends if they would recommend a dentist and surprisingly both told me to go to Dr.Bui. It took me a while to decide to go to see him, but since my son needed to see the dentist for school- I said what the heck I mind as well make an appointment for myself as well! OMG! Is it wrong to say that I'm in love with my dentist and his staff!!! They were so gentle and sweet to me and my boy!!! It was definitely the best experience I've had! HANDS DOWN!!! Dr. Bui is very kind. But, I usually don't need a lot of dental work so I mainly judge by how good the dental hygienist is. I thought the hygienist did a really thorough cleaning which is what I was looking for. The only con is I just wish the bathroom was a bit nicer. It's a community bathroom (located across the hall) so it felt like I was back in the dorms where we had community bathrooms. read more

I am very thankful to be able to have Dentist Steven Bui worked on me today. I tooth was aching and they were kind enough to squeeze me in since I was unable to reach the dentist I normally go to. Doctor Steven Bui and his staff are super friendly and very professional. I was very impressed. They were very efficient and so detail oriented. Doctor was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the cause and all the steps of the procedure. Their office was super busy but they were very efficient and had the latest dentist equipments. I love the 3D image technology they used to make my crown instead of the traditional mold. I would recommend this dentist to everyone. It's really hard to find a good dentist and Doctor Steven Bui is a gem! I HATE going to the dentist! I was traumatized since I was young. It didn't help much that my parents took me to the nearest dental office from our home. As an adult, I still do not like going to the dentist! I have had so so dentists who would hurt me, but Dr. Bui is really gentle. I explained to him my fears and he took his time and made me feel at ease. I had some major work done and I knew right off the bat that Dr. Bui knew what he was doing and it didn't hurt much. I am not gonna lie - when that big a** needle is inserted into my gums and hits the nerve - it hurts!!! It hurts a lot, but Dr. Bui hurt me less than any other dentist. Anna, the dental assistant is amazing! She is so kind and rubs my shoulder to comfort me! I feel like family is taking care of me when I am here. If all the dental offices were like this, then I would have never stop going to the dentist. I feared the dentist to the point where I never visited a dental office in a decade!!! read more

Been going to Dr Bui since I was a kid. He's been an awesome dentist every step of the way. He has great patient manners, very thorough, and will answer all your questions. If he doesn't know it, he'll get back to you. I haven't had more than a cleaning needed to be done. He won't upsell you on anything. He'll be honest and provide his opinion. There is never pressure to do anything. He'll provide the pros & cons of doing whatever it is that he recommends. He usually services the patient within a reasonable time frame of the appointment. He has also made helped me out when I needed an appointment change. The only reasons why he goes off schedule is because other patients might not come at their stated appointment time. This throws off his patient schedule. My whole family has been going to him as well. He always tries his best to accommodate what's needed. They are happy with him as well as I am. Best dentist ever!! My whole family has been going here for years. I do pay a little bit more for PPO insurance so I can come here but it's so worth it. I've never had to pay for an office visit and he's done up to 12 porcelain fillings that were all covered. All my fillings have held up great and never once have I had one come out. He does everything so quickly and painless. I come here every 6 months for my cleanings and I'm always in and out without having to wait too long. The only downside would be having to book your routine appointments months in advance because he is so popular! He always explains everything in detail and he's fun to talk to. He jokes around with you and makes you feel comfortable. I've never had anything bad to say about Dr. Bui, I recommend him to all my friends. read more

Asides from feeling like you're right at home in your recliner watching a movie on the plasma TV, this office is staffed with people who truly care about their patients. They're the type of people who remember what's going on in your life (i.e. surgeries, weddings, new jobs) and genuinely care enough to follow up when they see you again. Dr. Bui is gentle, thorough, and uses high tech dental equipments. I always appreciate his conservative approach. He's careful and methodical in his treatment plans, he won't suggest doing something that isn't absolutely necessary, and he'll clearly communicate his long-term and short-term goals for your dental health.
