I brought my daughter here for her 7th birthday. It was just me and her, no party involved. She had never been to a Build-A-Bear workshop before and since she loves her stuffed toys so much I thought she might enjoy making her own stuffed bear and it would double as a nice birthday gift as well. It was an average experience in the beginning, but by the end I was really annoyed with one of the staff members. It was during the weekday, so thankfully it was not busy at all. My daughter picked out a doll and then we went to stuff it. The staff member handling the stuffing was very nice and really got into that kid friendly mode. It was her birthday and we were not in any real hurry at first so I let her take her time getting all animated for my daughter's experience. I thought she was going to just stuff the bear but she kept directing us to buy more things to put in the bear. That was a little annoying, but it was my daughter's birthday so I allowed her to go ahead and get all the bells and whistles. She ended up getting a few add ons that were under $5.00 each. This included a magical tune and some smelling chip. I did say no to the $6.00 beating heart though. About 10-20 minutes later we finally had a stuffed bear and we spent about 40 more minutes wondering the store to add on clothes and accessories. When we went to check out I suddenly remembered that there was also a birthday bear she could get that would only cost $7 (it was a pay your age deal). So I had her pick out a few more items for the new bear and we checked out. Since we got all the bells and whistles on the first bear, I just wanted the birthday bear to be stuffed so she can dress it and we could leave. We were there now about an hour and we were ready to get out of there. Over all I spent around $70-$80 for the two bears, clothing, accessories and the add ons for the first bear. The same lady helped us with the stuffing of the birthday bear and again she asked if we wanted to add a tune to this bear. I very nicely explained that I had already paid for everything, so I don't want to add anything more to it and just wanted to have the bear stuffed so we can go. I thought I was pretty clear, so I was surprised when she turned around and said we have a special birthday scent for this one. I again told her that I had already paid for the bear and do not want to purchase anything else. Then she really shocked me when she asked if my daughter could at least smell it. Ummm.... Okay? After my daughter smelled the chip and I again said no, she had the nerve to ask if we wanted to add the beating heart. Right after I had told her twice, very clearly that I didn't want to buy anything. Now I am annoyed and feel like I am being ignored, so I very firmly tell her no and again for the third time repeat that I didn't want to purchase anything else. She eventually stuffs the bear and we finally get out of the store. I am not sure if this was just one inconsiderate staff member or if this is how they conduct business. I had clearly said no serveral times and I think it is absolutely horrible that she attempted to go over me by trying to get my daughter to like something I already told her I wasn't going to buy. Three stars for the other staff member who handled our check out and for the nice and clean store. But I took two stars for the really strange (not sure what else to call it) experience. She was nice, but inconsiderate at the same time. I wanted to bring my two other kids in for a fun day, but after dealing with all of that I think we are going to find something else to do.

Brought my daughter in to fill a unicorn that was purchased at a different store. It was a birthday present that she had and they were nice enough to give her a birthday sticker and make her feel special . We were lucky enough to have rocky help us . There was another girl in there but she was not very friendly . Rocky was amazing from beginning to end making my daughter feel special and involved while making her unicorn come to life . Thanks rocky

I brought my daughter to this BABW 1x before, to create a My Little Pony plush, and found it terribly expensive. This is definitely a once-in-a-while option, and not a regular time thing for us. But then my 6-year received a $20 gift card for Christmas, so here we are at BAB again. She perused the website to "view the merchandise", and had her sights set on a Rudolph plush. Since it's after Christmas, I thought oh goodie, maybe they'll be on sale. Umm, no. The Rudolph naked plush cost $25. A little steep for a stuffed animal, albeit he does have nice light-up nose. Unfortunately, the $20 gift card didn't quite cover it, so I had to reach into my pocketbook to fulfill this gift request. An overly-enthusiastic young gentleman greeted my daughter and made the experience positively wonderful for her. Of course he talked her into adding sound, which added on another $7. Thanks, sir. The lovely lady at the stuffing station entertained my daughter in dialog about her previous experience at BAB, and then recommended we dress Rudolph in a handsome ensemble. Thanks again; another $8 for his fair-isle scarf and matching beanie. All-in-all, Rudolph was adopted into our family for $40 + tax. If my daughter receives future gift cards to BAB I may be confiscating them. This is a fun shopping excursion for kids - just be prepared that you won't get out of the store without spending $30-$50 per stuffed buddy.

CUTE, with a capital C! Kiddos had a wonderful time, staff is well versed in handling a party and keeping things moving. Expensive? Can be, but you find the extras cheaper elsewhere! 4 stars for staff and fun times.....

The host was super helpful throughout checking in, helping set things up, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Food was good and convenient for a party setting, nothing over the top, but it did the job and the kids were happy. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a low-stress, fun birthday party venue where kids can run around. I do wish their party packages had extended hours. 2 hours didn't seem like enough.

I appreciate that the play structure is designed tall enough for parents to navigate as needed too, even on upper levels. There was also plenty of space for parents to hang out and watch. The party room was totally serviceable (we booked a 12-kid package with 7 kids and 12 adults, which meant some of the adults were standing (12 chairs), but it worked fine and it didn't feel crowded). I am glad we booked a larger party size than needed so some adults could sit! You are allowed in 30 minutes before your start time to decorate - and they leave blue painter's tape for you. I pre-staged one wall mural, two tablecloths, a banner, and some hanging decorations in a tub and that transformed the plain space quickly and perfectly for a kid's party. Food was better than I expected for a play zone cafeteria - pizza was included in the package, and we added a half-tray of chicken tenders (very popular), which came with fries, and a half-tray of fruit (which the kids loved and was fresh). Lemonade was tasty too. Had a whole pizza left over! The only outside food you can bring is a "celebratory dessert" - easy!! Our party host on the day of the party was sweet, accommodating, and low-key while also checking in the perfect amount. All other staff onsite were also welcoming and helpful. I can see how two hours could be tight for some folks, but they're very upfront about the expectations, and it was no big deal - I just kept an eye on the clock and moved things along. Booking was a little confusing on the website (a larger room size was incorrectly showing for the smaller party package), but their party coordinator got me fixed after I screwed up my reservation initially. Overall, this was a great party experience, and we'd do it again. Low-key, so much just handled for you... Thanks, Kaity and Ridge Staff!

You need to register on their website if you don't go during open play. They have a party room and you can host birthday parties there. The inflatables are better than the Arena Sports ones I have gone to. They have air hockey tables. And a bean bag toss game. There is a useless hurricane simulator thing it's literally 2 dollars for a strong fan being blown on you. Lol don't bother. But the inflatables are great and in decent condition. Some need to be stitched up here and there. The bathrooms were clean and they have water fountains. The vending machine was out of order when I was there. The customer service was 50% good. And I mean that literally, 2 employees I interacted with were friendly and 2 were unfriendly and lazy. That is for 2 separate visits. There is a lot of wall space for arcade games they could add. I docked a star just because I wish they had everyone take off their shoes on the carpet area of each room. Everyone jumping needs to wear socks in the inflatables but when they get out they are still running around with their socks on while parents are there wearing their dirty shoes. So the area isn't really sanitary. I've never been to a Pump It Up establishment before. This location had two rooms with inflatables. The third room was for eating. I loved that 2 high chairs were included in that third room. Loved that it was an IKEA high chair just because we use that at home too.

They have one of the best Jellycat sections I've seen, with so many cute options, and I was also really impressed by how much Miffy they carry. It's definitely a fun place to browse, and I always find myself discovering something new. However, the last times I've come here, I've come to find that I personally prefer visiting when the manager or some of the older ladies are working because I've always found them to be much warmer and more welcoming. During my most recent visit, some of the younger employees came across as pretty cold, and I felt like I was being watched or closely observed for most of my time there. When I first walked in today 9/4 there was a brunette girl wearing a cardigan, I genuinely thought she was a random customer who was staring at me, but I later realized she was actually an employee. She was standing near the front but didn't greet me or acknowledge me, which made the interaction feel awkward. If you're going to have someone standing at the front, I would expect at least a simple hello or some acknowledgment, especially in a small store where customers can easily feel noticed. The cashier girl in stripes came across as very kind though. Overall, I still really enjoy the store because the selection is fantastic, especially for Jellycat, Sonny angel and Miffy fans. I just wish the customer service felt warmer and more welcoming across all shifts. I'll definitely still come back for the selection, but I hope the staff can make customers feel more comfortable while they browse.
