My daughter and I went to visit my husband at Wallops Island. We went over to Chincoteague to get a sweet treat and decided to try BYOC. By first glance, it's a small food truck, which seems to be the thing here for quite a few places to eat. They set out tables and chairs with umbrellas, thank you for that! The menu was laid out well and made ordering simple. You choose your cookie, your ice cream and your toppings. I am so glad they had a gluten-free cookie, and I was surprised with how good it was! You don't need to order more than one scoop of ice cream, the scoops are generous and the cookies are huge! I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for dessert. Oh man, what a great drive-by find on Chincoteague! BYOC has a large variety of cookies, ice creams, and toppings to combine to make a delicious dessert. They microwave the cookie to make it nice and hot, then put one or two scoops of ice cream on top and then whatever topping you like. Whipped cream and a cherry are included. The lady working there was so kind and friendly, it added a lot to the whole experience. This is one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. One dessert is easily big enough to split between two people, but we each loved ours so much we ate our own. The calories were totally worth it. I loved BYOC it was so good! You have so many options to choose from! You can choose your favorite cookie and you choose your favorite ice cream to put on top of the cookie. If you want you can choose a topping. BYOC has many other things to choose from like sundaes, cookie ice cream sandwiches, and many more. I really liked mine, other people probably didn't like there's as much because they didn't pick the right things to put on top of their cookie, no offense to the other people. One little thing that I didn't really like was that it was in a truck and it was raining outside at the same time we were waiting in line for a cookie. Which the raining was really not their fault but if I were them I would most likely change the truck part and make something bigger. Otherwise I thought the cookies were so good and delicious! The number of toppings they provided was amazing, and their cookies were warm, fresh and mouthwatering. In addition, they were very careful with anyone who had allergies. They made sure to use separate scoops and spoons for the ice cream and toppings. With a self-service option, you can pick any topping as many times as you want, and the employees were very patient as I was deciding my toppings. Although it is a small place, it is really cozy and comfortable. It made Chincoteague Bay feel like home. The employees showed great care and hospitality towards their customers, making sure that everyone was satisfied with their desserts.The owners themselves came over to make sure I was happy with my dessert.
