The girls who worked there were very friendly and helpful!! I got the s'mores latte and a half dozen donuts with extra. The s'mores latte wasn't my favorite. It tasted nothing like a s'more. The girls were nice enough to give me extra flavor and chocolate syrup to fix it. But it just wasn't for me. The donuts looked good. I got Oreo, maple bacon, strawberry, sprinkles, and a glazed with vanilla cream. It cost about $22 for everything and was about a 5 minutes wait. I liked the glazed donut with vanilla cream best. The maple bacon was good to but the bacon seemed artificial or like a bacon bit. They're cake donuts so they're pretty thick. If you take them home, microwaving them for a few seconds helps soften them. My kids enjoyed theirs, so all in all it was ok. They looked appealing. Check them out!! read more

They also offer drinks and donuts. The donuts are all cake donuts, I thought a bit dry. The Nutty Buddy is a cone with soft serve (I opted for vanilla) dipped in chocolate and covered in peanuts. Shows all the keepsakes this place acquired - loyal customers, local treasures... I frequented Mister Whippy when on the island cause it was the only shop that had decently made cold brew! All others I tried were either too watery (off-balance bean to water ratio) or I didn't care for the coffee itself. My partner tried their doughnuts and said they were decent-- it's the same doughnuts from the shop down the road but less of a line and slightly less fresh. SO GOOD. We stop here every time we are on the island for the best soft serve I may have ever had! And they have a drive-through! Cash only so make sure you're prepared. This year was the first time we went inside because they previously only had the drive-through and walk-up window open due to COVID. It's so cute inside! Lots of local pictures and ice cream signage. They also expanded Lil Whippy's coffee/donuts inside at a separate counter. Plenty of seating on their patio, too. My recommendation is a waffle cone, just be prepared because they are HUGE! Stopped by Mr. Whippy after grabbing pizza next door. Opted for a donut and frozen mocha rather than soft serve. Maybe I should've gotten soft serve instead! I thought my cream filled donut was just okay. The donut was pretty thick. It was cake-like but had a slightly different consistency and flavor. It also wasn't stuffed with cream like I was expecting, just topped with cream. Basically a regular donut with cream on top. The vanilla whipped cream was pretty good, though. Not too sweet and wasn't heavy. My frozen mocha was okay. Wish it gave me more of a pick me up. Service is pretty efficient. Restroom (single stall) was really clean. The parking lot was busy with a drive thru and a parking area. Walked right up to the counter and was greeted immediately. I ordered the tripe berry sundae with vanilla soft serve topped with a huge pile of whip cream and a cherry. It was tasty but I wish it was made with fresh fruit ( strawberry/raspberry/blueberry) instead of syrup. It is cash only so be prepared or use the ATM on site. I'm a fan of decent soft-serve, which isn't too common anymore unfortunately. I guess it depends on where you live. Around me, there's not a ton of options. So this was a nice find while we were spending a long weekend out in Chincoteague. The lines can be exceedingly long! There was a huge queue to get through the drive-thru, which was blocking the actual parking spots in their lot. Plus, the line barely moved, and yokels from their cars would just waltz in through the exit and cut off people waiting outside to join the actual line. You could see part of the reason why there was such a delay. First of all, every order is ... well ... made to order. But the staff there (at least our guy) move painfully slow! I get this is a summer job for high schoolers and such, but recognize the huge lines out the door and maybe add a little pep in that step? Dude literally did everything else but take our order as he went to get change, went somewhere else to talk to another team member, went somewhere else again... It was weird. This honestly was almost not worth the wait. But the ice cream was good, even if they only had two flavors (vanilla and chocolate) plus a twist. They have some options for making it fun though. I had a cyclone, which is basically a McFlurry. They did NOT skimp on the add-in! I asked for M&Ms and I swear it was almost more candy than ice cream! Based on just the evening visit alone, this probably would have only be a 3-star experience. But, we stopped by for coffee and donuts on the way out. Well, I had a frozen lemonade. And let me say, this was well worth it! The iced coffee was fine too, but the donuts are where it's at! Very interesting base that felt like a mix of both yeast and cake donuts... I'm still trying to figure that blend out! But the toppings and icings were great. The kid had strawberry, which was bright pink and very tasty. I absolutely loved my PB&J which was the weekly special. And my wife had the maple bacon, which was also quite good. Again, we had to wait a long time for drinks, so I guess maybe the problem is they just haven't mastered the 'fast' part of the 'fast food industry.' It is what it is. I wish they'd work on that, maybe find some ways to save wait times while not sacrificing quality. Maybe that's the trade-off here. It was seemingly worth the wait. Overall, still a great little shop on the island and well worth visiting while you're in town. Keep an eye on the lines and try to hit it between rushes. The large size is also extremely large - my high school son couldn't finish his and was wishing he stuck with a regular.
