Delicious drinks, great service and friendly workers. A great spot to go if you're in the area, lots of customization options too

What a fun sugary treat! Picked up a few drinks (shark bite, carnival, and a root beer float). Everything was tasty... and sooo much sugar we were bouncing off the walls!! No bathrooms as this is a food truck, but there's bathrooms in the surf shop next door. Lots of mosquitos too, so bring bug spray if you're waiting outside or planning to eat outside.

We waited to try this place all week and it didn't disappoint. They have so many options, I wish I would've taken more pictures. They also have a nice outdoor covered seating area for you to enjoy your goodies. In our group we had 7 people and ordered 8 things for $42. Everyone loved what they had.

    They have the cutest logo!

This is a great stop for some fun refreshing drinks! I also highly recommend the elevated shaved ice!

Tried Pony Pop because of some rave reviews from friends, and BOY! They did not disappoint. I got the Cruisin' Sprite (i'm a sprite fanatic) and it was super refreshing. The truck is situated in a spot that doesn't get a ton of attention from the tourist crowd, but it's not tucked away from the main areas. It's a great treat when you want something that's not as busy as Island Creamery, but with the same quality. 10/10! Fast service and great drink!

Desserts we ordered were amazing!! Definitely going to come here next time we are in Chincoteague. Serving sizes are big, so plan to share

So glad we decided to stop at this little taco truck! The food was awesome from start to finish…read more The kids loved the tacos and quesadillas, and the shrimp tacos were absolutely out of this world. In my opinion, this is the best Mexican food on the island and honestly some of the best I've had on the East Coast. A shoutout to Woody's next door too--the setup with the games, hammocks, and outdoor space made it such a fun place to hang out while everyone ate. It turned a quick lunch into one of our favorite stops of the trip. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

The window you order from is covered and there are picnic tables and chairs outside to sit in. When we got to the window we were greeted and the staff was nice. They answered all of our questions and were patient with us. I ordered the Cajun shrimp tacos and a carne asada taco, with rice and beans. It came to $25 which felt kinda expensive. The tacos had good flavor, the carne asada was tender. I enjoyed the Cajun shrimp tacos the most. The shrimp was a good texture and tasted good. I'm not a fan of corn tortillas, so I threw those away and just ate the meat with the rice. In the town alot of restaurants and stores are in the same area within just a few minutes of each other. This food truck is right in front of the water park, so if you get lost look for the slides. I'd come here again. Check them out!!

5 star food, but kind of a 2.5 star experience…read more We have been coming to Chincoteague and eating at Woody's for years. The barbecue is great--smokey and tender meats, tangy-sweet sauce, fall-off-the-bone ribs. The sides are solid as well for the most part--crispy crunchy coleslaw, savory and sweet baked beans, satisfyingly creamy and crunchy corn nuggets, perfectly balanced sweet potato fries. However: I don't know if there's ever been a year when we got ALL the food we ordered. If you order for a group pretty much just expect you'll get about 80% of what you bought. You can't call or order online; you have to go say or present your order in person. If it's more than like two items the best way seems to be to write it down and hand over a list but that isn't a guarantee of anything. This year, we placed an order for six people including two platters--half rack of ribs and the half rack + half chicken combo. Guess what: no chicken in the bag. Also no cornbread, which was supposed to come with the platters. If this was a one-off that would be one thing. But I kid you not in 10 years I don't think we've ever received 100% of the food. It's really frustrating to drive over there, wait and then find out stuff is missing. I want to recommend Woody's based on the quality of the food. But: Don't trust that they'll get it right. Just expect that you should unpack the whole order when they hand it to you and check everything before driving away.
