I also have an odd sized slider door that has not had a screen slider from the time I bought the home almost 6 years ago. Despite constant searching, I never found what would fit, even called a local company that did my garage screen units at my old home, and they failed to show for 2 years and many calls later. John took the measurements and provided a solid metal framed slider which now allows for more cross breeze on those windy days. Nice person, leaves no tell tail evidence of work behind. I had you guys (Comfort) in a number of years ago to quote on a project. The problem I had at the time was that Comfort's price was just a little higher and the company I went with assured me they had the same quality workmanship and products. After the other company completed the work... (using the term completed loosely) I had nothing but problems. I called the other company and they told me to call the manufacturer. What a nightmare that turned into. This time the Comfort quote was still just under 4% higher than the next competitor but everything I have read told me to give Comfort a try. So I did! WOW ! is all I can say. I have never seen a construction crew as organized as your guys. The workers were friendly and polite. I didn't hear any swearing like I did with the other company. When the Comfort guys completed the job they walked me around the entire project showing me exactly what they did and why. I was amazed at the finish work, even the calk joints looked perfect unlike the other company who smeared calk everywhere. I am so thankful that I selected Comfort and cant wait to have you back in the spring for the next project we have in mind. Lastly, the guy Chris who came out to estimate this job, I guess he is a salesperson. He was just great... he was here for quite some time and answered every question we had. I needed two large gable windows installed in my attic. Before the scheduled quote I explained that my contractor would create the frame and another company was making the windows. We needed their installation services because, as you can imagine, a crane of some sort would be needed to elevate and hold in place the large windows. We also have other windows that needed to be replaced throughout the house. Upon arrival, Daniel saw the window cutouts and proceeded to work him self into a frenzy. He claimed that "he did not install other people's windows and that we are wasting his time". My wife tried to explain, but he would not let her get a word in. At that point, due to his unprofessional and aggressive behavior my wife politely told him that this isn't going to work and asked him to leave. He started becoming more irate and raised his hand at her as if to back hand slap her. Please never use Madison Vinyl Windows. Daniel Kurtz is a bigoted coward. We went to all of the top companies in Upstate and Pella was the best for quality and longevity. We ended up getting full replacement on all of our windows in the whole house. Totaling at 32 windows in all. They are the black lifetime warranty. All of neighbors love the windows as well. It has definitely cut down our energy bill. Do your own research but We had a great experience here. I think as far as service goes we dine some minor issues with nails and they came and picked them up with a magnifying screen.

I went to their showroom and it is cleaned out to the bare walls. Called number on the window and they have no showroom right now. This business shows signs that they may be going out of business. If you do deal with them be very careful. I want the windows but I am afraid of losing my money. BUYER BEWARE.
