While I waited for my keys, I walked around to check out pricing of items that I would buy at Tractor Supply or Walmart. Very competitive and good pricing for items I buy regularly, compared to driving all the way into Shelton. Very happy with my service and glad we've got a more dedicated hardware store now!

I stood there while groups of employees walked by and no one stopped to ask if I needed help. Initially walking down the gutter aisle an employee was already helping someone and as I approached the employee turned around and walked away and also being in the group that walked by. I eventually walked over to the other aisle and asked for help from an employee that was helping someone else. He was really nice and a big help. So why was I ignored by about 4 other employees? Who knows. I've been in this particular ACE in Belfair and occasionally the employees are nice but a good portion of the times they are not. It must be miserable working there.

I went out there and all of the Porta potty's had feces all over them it would've been impossible to use them without getting it on you. So thinking I was being helpful I walked into the store and told the cashiers that they really needed cleaning. The tall lady started to go off on me about how they weren't theirs and they couldn't do anything about it and they didn't have anybody to call and after she finished going off on me she just stood there and stared at me like a petulant teenager, and when I asked her are you trying to stare me down? She said yes I am because I have nothing else to say. Wait a minute I thought I was dealing with an adult and customer service? I thought I went to a store with people who worked there and get paid to work there. what the heck is wrong with this place cause if you look back that woman has gone off on people before really really nasty. I would go off and poop in the woods before I would go into this place or deal with that wicked nasty woman ever again. She ruined my day by being nasty and rude and childish. Since moving to Cap Hill last month, I've visited this store various times for help with different…read morerepairs around my new apartment and every time the employees are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. When I was struggling to mount a shelf, I got advice from one of the employees who was super friendly and explained to me exactly how to screw in the L brackets I was struggling with. He walked me over to the aisle and showed me exactly which screws would and wouldn't work for my project and explained to me how the screws would interact with different wall materials. Most recently I dropped by just before they closed to pick up drywall paste and a pallette knife. Despite me walking in ten minutes before they were supposed to shut, they didn't make me feel rushed at all and helped me find what I was looking for. I always prefer supporting a local business and I love having a neighbourhood hardware supply store I can count on with employees who feel kinda like family.

I know most employees there are great people though last couple years saw a couple have appeared as if they would rather not be there and I suppose it 'cause of p.o.s. owner. A couple years ago a lousy attitude employee gal took my order to mix a five gallon bucket of paint and sold me the wrong product and I went back to speak with owner (wish I recalled his name) to resolve issue and waited ten minutes for him to appear though he never did- just remained in his office upstairs so I'm out $200.00. Because of him and the dwindling customer service I so much enjoyed at every other Ace Hdwr. I steer clear of this one whenever I can. My apologies to the staff as most are stellar though it seems they deserve more consideration from owners. I prefer to support local business' though this guy takes the fun out of it.
