My favorite set of high back chairs was incredibly overpriced but they had plenty of others (like the green) at reasonable prices, especially as most of the items here are good quality. I don't think I would come here for wall art specifically as I didn't find a single piece I liked but there was some really nice furniture, decor and other peices for sure. The staff was also welcoming and greeted us in and they had plenty of staff to help if you needed it. This place is definitely worth a look around!

The email experience was excellent, and since it's the way so many of us conduct business now, it left at outstanding first impression. When I arrived at the store I was absolutely in awe at the merchandise. The store is incredibly tiny, but that doesn't stop it from having great things, yet still have plenty of room to move about. Everything in the store, and I mean EVERYTHING, works together in an amazing way. It's very well curated, and there was so much I wanted to just buy and bring home. Another great side note, while the store doesn't stock or sell "cheap" things, the prices are very reasonable for the high-end, ultra-quality items they sell. I'll be keeping my eye on this place and will most certainly pick up more things in the future.

One of the owners greeted us and gave some basic tips and details. We wandered around and I eavesdropped on a worker explaining care and upkeep of vintage wood furniture. We made a tentative selection and they encouraged us to put it on hold and consider the dimensions. We returned the next day and left with a new-to-us stunning and unique coffee table- and we couldn't be happier. Great people run this place and sell wonderful pieces. Their open and honest suggestions made me feel like shopping with much wiser friends who joined in our excitement as we decorate our home for style and comfort.

I decided to look it up so my girlfriend, her sister, and I can go and check it outwhen. Lord behold it's in Berkeley! Ok, not a big deal, but we all kept thinking that they should fix the location across social media videos. We get there and parking isn't easy to find. You have to park in or around the other warehouses in the area or a couple of blocks away. After we found parking we made our way over and oh it was a huge disappointment to behold. I think we only stayed for a few minutes before we called it a bust and a waste of time. Do not, I repeat, do not believe the videos that these social media influencers are feeding your algorithm. There was so much trash, broken products, and some of the furniture that could be salvaged had ridiculous price tags on them. Some sets were incomplete, coffee mugs were cracked, tools rusted, and when asked about certain electronics working conditions they either didn't know or refused to check. Needless to say we were unimpressed and never coming back.

I started searching online but couldn't find anything close to what I had in mind. Then I remembered the antique shop near my old apartment, the one run by such lovely people with an amazing eye for beautiful pieces. So I went there, hoping to get lucky. As soon as I walked in, I saw many lovely mirrors, but none that matched the one I'd been imagining. Just then, Howard asked if I was looking for something specific. I told him about the mirror I'd been dreaming of, and he smiled and said, "I just bought one like that." He showed me a photo on his phone, and it was the one. He told me it would arrive on Monday, but I was leaving town for work and worried I might lose my chance. Howard kindly promised to hold it for me until I returned. When I came back, I hoped he had kept his word,and he had. There it was, waiting for me: the gorgeous Victorian mirror I'd dreamed of all my life. Not only did he keep his promise, but he also gave me a generous discount, saying that the mirror was meant to be mine. They delivered it to my second-floor apartment with great care and professionalism. I absolutely love it and feel so grateful to Antique & Art Exchange SF for helping make a lifelong dream come true.
