I have eaten here several times over the last few months. I love their Taco's: they are packed with flavor at every level, whether the juices and seasons, tender meat, or Korean coleslaw on top! I'd recommend trying the three taco deal, get what suits you! Also the Kimchee Fried Rice is on point. I love this dish because its not about a plate of rice and some random meat filler. These guys know what it means to make a flavor packed dish! Not only is the serving good for two (maybe 3) the flavor enriched Kimchee mixed with other vegetables and the meat of your choice makes this dish a sure fire win every time! Just a side note; every time i see these guys at a Food Truck Rodeo, They have a line for days and every other truck just sits and watches. The peoples vote matters! Wow this food truck is awesome. They came by to Collins Crossing on their "food truck" wednesdays. I got the Korean Galbi Burrito Bowl with their spicy sauce and it was AMAZING. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The portion was pretty large for me so I got to make two meals out of it (essentially). They are generous with their seasonings. I also tried the seafood pancake. It was somewhat soggy since I didn't eat it right away, but it didn't bother me because it was also delicious. And for the price, I loved it. Typically at Korean restaurants, they charge $12. So their $6 pancake definitely satisfied my cravings. Love them, and I hope they come back! read more

This has been my first time trying the Bulkogi Truck, but I must say they now have a dedicated customer. This truck offers amazing food and very kind workers. I went to the truck at around 1 o' clock and it was relatively busy. Even with the steady flow of customers, the food that was coming out was consistent and the wait wasnt very long. Today, I had the Korea BBQ burrito bowl with spicy pork and the quesadilla with the beef bulkogi. Both dishes were absolutely delightful! Their burrito bowl consisted of the usual tomatos, onion cilantro mix, black beans, corn and cheese, but instead of the usual lettuce, they had a marinated lettuce on top and it was simply sublime. The marinated lettuce had a great crunch to it that helped balance out the dish. Also the marinated KBBQ meat was very authentic and delicious. Did I mention the portion size? For the price, they give out hearty portions. The quesadilla was well balanced and tasty as well. The saltiness of the cheese balanced well with the savory-sweetness of the bulkogi! Plus they use a grill so the outside is nice and toasty. In addition to 5 star worthy food, their workers were beyond delightful! They had constant smiles and served the food in a timely matter, no matter how busy they got! I highly recommend trying out this food truck for fast, cheap and delicious food! One of my favorite food trucks in the Triangle area. So glad they make regular stops at my office park. I have ordered the Korean BBQ burrito bowl every time and it's awesome - I highly recommend it with an egg on top. They give you a pretty good amount of meat and it's really a substantial amount of food. Prices are typical for food trucks, nothing too crazy. Doesn't hurt that they are quick too. Bulkogi has some amazing bibimbap for meat eaters or vegetarians, like 6 out of 5 stars good. Also The service is very fast, even when there is a long line. I appreciate that their generator is a quiet one. so overall experience of being near the truck is 6 out of 5 stars. The only exception is that they recently changed their calendar (as of June 2019) and it is confusing. The reason I'm giving them a 2/5 is because It is now incredibly hard to tell where they're going to be in the future. I've eaten off this truck several times and each time the food just gets better and better. Yesterday at the NC Courage Soccer game I had a bowl of their spices bulkogi beef with fried rice and that stuff was purely amazing. I was very close to going back for seconds.... I also used some of the spicy orange sauce they had on the side as condiment and it complimented the beef perfectly. If I'm not going to make my own korean bbq then this is better than most brick and mortar stores that are around. Good flavors and an interesting recipe for their marinade. Prices are good. Weekends you'll be waiting for 15-20. Try the triple tacos. One beef, chicken and pork. Then you can decide what your poison is. Weird that they sell Jarritos soda but ok. Also, dont be even slightly religious with them in discussion or you will be asked to attend their Church. I think the church may fund them in some way. Food is good, go try it! read more

I will admit I can't get enough Korean food. The flavors speak to all my taste buds all at once. Thankfully the Bulkogi Truck is available to fill my need. They have several protein options to include tofu but I prefer the spicy pork bulkogi over all others. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu but my least favorite item is the Kimchi Fried Rice while my favorite is their tacos. I had the chance to try their Breakfast taco ($5) during my last visit and it was delicious. Who would have thought corn would take it to the next level! Unlike other food trucks the portions here are on the heavy side so choose wisely or prepare for leftovers. You can find them most Saturday mornings at the Hunt St. Art and Food Truck Market (10am-12pm) across the street from the Durham Farmers Market. This event is great because lines are almost non-existent and you can mosey on over to the market and walk off your brunch while you shop. They are serving up some solid Korean BBQ on wheels and if you haven't tried them you are missing out. read more

Their Beef Bibimbap (especially the spicy version) is worth every penny.

So far this is only food truck from which I've been able to procure bi bim bap. They do a great job with it - lots of veggies. They don't give you much meat, but they make it up for with veggies, rice, and sauce, and of course the fried egg. I wish they offered canned green or oolong tea instead of that sickenly sweet Mexican soda, and I think charging $3.50 for kimchi is too steep. But overall this is a reliable food truck and I'm psyched every time they come to my work! read more

We tried this food truck at the Knightdale 4th of July celebrations. All in all very solid Korean fare! We enjoyed their pan fried dumplings with minced pork and glass noodles. The spicy pork bulgogi plate was very flavorful. The meat was extremely well-seasoned but we were taken aback by the chunks of meat (we're used to getting bulgogi as slivers or meat). The Bulkogi truck is one of the best food trucks in the Triangle in my opinion; it's definitely the best Korean food truck. I've never had anything from there that I didn't like. My obsession with this truck all started with the Bulldog, a hotdog topped with Bulkogi, a cabbage slaw and pico de gallo. It was orgasmic!! And this thing was so big that one was definitely enough to fill anyone's tummy although it's hard to stop at just one and I often find myself sad that I couldn't eat anymore. You could eat themselves sick if you're not careful. Then I tried some of the other offerings here and everything was just as delicious at the last. The Kimchi fried rice is my current favorite. The portion size of it is so big that you could eat it for at least two meals. We try to catch this truck whenever they're at Fortnight Brewery. Korean food with a beer is one of the best ways to spend a weeknight let me tell you. Definitely try to catch this truck if it's ever in your neighborhood. read more

Where do I start... First-I look forward to eating breakfast at the Durham market just for their bibimbap! The presentation-phenomenal for food truck cuisine-better than what I got at a local Korean restaurant when I ordered "to go" bimbimbap. What I dislike most when I order from the Bulkogi Truck is deciding what to order. I've tried just about everything on their menu and each dish is absolutely delightful. If I had to choose, my favorite would be the Bul-dog, a hot dog placed inside thick buns, topped with flavorful bulkogi and an assortment of vegetables, as well as the burrito with egg and kimchi. A close second would be the quesadillas and the bibimbap (mixed rice). I also love that they serve Jarritos, a popular brand of soft drink in Mexico, which I can drink in place of Pepsi or Coke products, since I've been cutting out high fructose corn syrup from my diet. Furthermore, the workers are lovely and wonderful people who are serving a greater purpose than to earn money. Truck was at ATC in Durham. First time customer. Ordered the Goon Mandu and fried rice. The Mandu was good, the sauces were good, but the rice was lacking. My experience with fried rice has always been that there is something besides rice in the dish, like egg. Mine was just rice tossed around the in the wok with a little sauce (soy?). My tastebuds have never been so happy. So many flavors going on, it's ridiculous. The beef is hot, spicy, savory, juicy and packs so much flavor. The toppings are cool, tangy, crunchy, salty, sweet and so fresh! They load these tacos too! I love generous food people! I will say I have ate at this food truck a number of times and its one of my favorites. Last time I got the pork burrito bowl with a quesadilla and kimchi. The burrito bowl is something that is very special and actually prefer over chipolte. Considering how much I eat at chipolte that is saying something. Anyway, the quesadilla was pretty good but if you mix it with the aoili and the sriracha its pretty damn good. Best food truck ever! I are here with a co worker while in Clayton for work. We were visiting a brewery and the truck was parked in front and what a treat! I had the tacos and used the tofu option. I requested that they be spicy enough to make my nose run and they did not disappoint! But where as sometimes when you request spicy, that's all you get. These tacos were both hot and flavorful. This food truck came to my apartment complex. I had the bbq rice plate with spicy beef and fried rice. It was spicy but not to the point where it wasn't enjoyable. It had a lot of flavor. I really enjoyed it. My husband got the burrito bowl with spicy chicken. His wasn't as spicy as mine. This was also very good. I loved the sesame oil flavor in it. Service was pretty quick.
