This Christmas holiday at moi Ranch nearby, we stopped in & decided to try the Pumpkin Bread as they were out of the sourdough we usually get. We are completely WOWED in love with the Pumpkin bread! I can't believe it took us this long to try the Pumpkin Bread! It's a lovely pumpkin pound cake, lightly sweet bursting with pumpkin flavor. A must try if you enjoy pumpkin pound cake. Went back the next night for steak and was not disappointed...cook to perfection, and tasty. Oh, to top it off the coldest beer I ever had. Service was exceptional!!! First time to visit and will be back no doubt about it. The food was fantastic and must save room for their bread pudding. Even with the restrictions due to COVID-19 they are taking those extra steps to social distance and sanitize everything. Make sure to call in ahead of time to make reservations. The romaine edges were dry, as were the carrots. The dressing was fine and I did eat the whole salad. As a matter of fact, I cleaned my plate. The guy to the left of me asked me if I was gonna post the empty plate on YELP with my review. Great idea. It turns out that the man was Ford Swanson Jr., the owner. I had no idea and I told him that. His response was, "I didn't want you to know." I guess he wanted to see if I really liked my food. Anyway, I don't even know if he looks at his YELP reviews or not but if he does, "Thanks McBride Steakhouse for treating me to a delightful evening!"
