From initially inquiring about personal training, Coach Taz was professional and prompt to respond and called me to review my goals and to see what would be a good fit for me and my boyfriend. He recommended the 3x/week hourly sessions with him as well as nutritional education. One of the good things about Gifted N Fitted was the fact that I could go on a payment plan; something that 24 hour fitness was unable to offer me in the past. The price is very reasonable, especially when comparing to other personal trainers at big gyms; the payment plan definitely helped me get started with my weight loss journey while not breaking my wallet! During the workouts, Coach Taz explains each exercise and is so encouraging throughout, even when I may feel like giving up, he's right there saying "10 more seconds! You can do it! You can do anything in 10 seconds" and lots more encouragement that really pushes you. He offers you to use his equipment to stretch after the workout and is never in a rush to answer questions. He also taught us and makes sure that we stretch properly before every workout too. We use the Band App where we communicate, which he also will send us reminders or our times for certain goals we've completed. After our first two months is up, we plan on adding on another month because we're seeing results and don't want to stop! Coach Taz is definitely someone we will be keeping in touch with throughout our fitness journey as he's given us this opportunity and push that we needed to get started. He's flexible with scheduling so was able to meet our needs to when we can workout. I could keep going on and on but he is definitely someone I recommend 100%. I have been a UFC GYM Mililani member for two years, and I understand that group classes are an…read moreimportant part of the gym's services. However, on one particular day, I attempted to use the StairMaster machines but was told I could not because a class was in progress. Later, I was informed that I could use the equipment after all, as the class was supposed to last 20 minutes. However, about 10 minutes later, I was approached again and asked to stop and move, which caused confusion and disrupted my workout. I believe that, as a paying member, I should have reasonable access to the equipment included with my membership. The StairMaster is one of the few cardio machines I can comfortably use, so being unable to access it meant that I could not complete my planned workout that day. I am not asking for classes to be discontinued. I simply hope the gym can arrange the class setup in a way that does not completely prevent other members from using the equipment. I would appreciate it if management could look into this and consider a solution that allows both class participants and other members to use the facility comfortably. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my concern. I have been a member for two years and value the gym, so I hope we can find a reasonable solution.

One of my favorite things is recently they turned the old pool area in to an outdoor fitness area. It has turf, 10 squat racks, and a fitness rack with pull up bars, premium kettlebells, and weighted slam balls. I wish they didn't take out the sauna and steam room as those are some of my favorite wellness amenities for a gym. The gym does tend to get busy later in the day and machines will fill up, but you can still get a great workout in. Next time I plan to try out one of the many fitness classes that they offer.

After lifting my mother's wheelchair in and out of my car for 2 years and then pushing a huge…read morerecliner wheelchair outside so she could enjoy some sunshine, my back had taken a toll. My pilates instructor said I had scoliosis (which I never had before) and said I would have to put lifts in my right shoe and place a pillow under my right hip but I felt that wasn't the answer. I went to PT, chiropractor and water therapy, but I knew I needed to strengthen my core and other muscles. My prayers were answered when I met Gregg and started with his package to exercise 3-4 times a week. He started me very slowly and I never experienced any pain. He explained that I needed to strengthen the tiny muscles deep inside first and build my balance and strength. He made working out so much fun and enjoyable. He was like a therapist and a friend who worked me hard enough but not so I would dread going to see him. The session always seemed to fly by because we would laugh a lot and I knew he really cared about me and my progress. He gave advice as to my diet, but never judged me. Previously, I was feeling unstable and my core and legs were weak but I proudly told him about 3 HUGE WINS I had! I lost my balance in the shower and could see myself in slow motion falling out of the tub/shower.... but because i was exercising, i did not fall was able to balance and get upright again. WIN! One day I was going down the stairs (wearing socks) and carrying a glass... suddenly I slipped down a couple of steps but miraculously stopped myself from falling, got my balance back on the step and did not even drop the tray (I saw in slow motion the glass and dishes falling and shattering on the ground. In the past things would slip out of my hand and I could not stop it from crashing to the ground- NOW I am more coordinated and have more grip strength WIN! WIN! My WIN WIN WIN was when I was carrying heavy pavers to the curb in a rush (feeling proud of myself that I could carry these heavy blocks now) when suddenly the front of my slipper flipped under tripping me, Again in slow motion I could see myself falling to the asphalt and skidding on my bare skin.... but as I flew off the curb somehow I ended up with just a tiny scratch on my arm as I looked around to see if anyone witness my miraculous twist. I do need to be more mindful and slow down as I am now 71. But working with Greg, I am feeling much younger again. He is a gem in Mililani Mauka who is more than a trainer. He is a life coach! Thank you Greg! You are the best and you deserve all the awards and accolades you have received. (He is great with dogs too!)

I've been training with Greg for 3 years. I used to be really scared to go to the gym or workout…read morebecause it was so new to me. Greg helped me gain so much confidence. Although I do not have any concerns with pain, I do not want to get to the point where I do the wrong exercises and sustain injuries that'll hurt me in the long run. Greg is so patient and always takes his time to make sure my body is balanced. He does squat assessments before training to make sure he addresses any imbalances in my body. Even though I work out pretty frequently, I do not feel any pain in my body because Greg teaches me how to do exercises correctly, stretch before and after working out, and also informs me if anything is wrong with my body. Not only that, I have never been so happy with how I look. He also provides diet plans for those in need. Not to mention he gives the best massages. I am currently a student and sometimes my shoulders get a little tense due to being on the computer all the time. The massages make me feel so much better. After retiring from the military, I wasn't really working out anymore and wanted something that would help strengthen my core without being too hard on my joints. I signed up for the beginner package and had three one-hour sessions with Ana. Every review I read (with the exception of Michael M- which I think is a fake review) about her and the studio was absolutely accurate. She's an amazing Pilates instructor and just a genuinely kind person with great energy. You can tell she's passionate about what she does, and she took the time to teach me the proper techniques instead of rushing through the workouts. The pricing is fair, and I really appreciated the smaller, more personal feel of the studio. It's by far a better experience than what you'd find at a national chain Pilates studio. You never feel like just another client. I have been moving so haven't had the chance to go back, but once I'm settled in my new place I will go back consistently.
