Our absolute favorite spot. We fill up our gas tank exclusively here. My husband gets 7 days off in a row twice a month so when possible we're out on the water and stop here every single time. Why? Because you will get no better customer service any where. Most of the time your greeted with the sweetest pup coco, we can't leave with out petting. But my kids love getting their ice cream and snacks. They have a good selection for drinks, snacks and ice cream. Sure you will satisfy any craving you have on a trip here. read more

I took some family/friends out to Bullfrog today for kayak fishing and i must say we were pleasntly surprised. Awesome location on the Ca Delta along with great folks to accommodate us. No boat launch! How can marina not have a boat launch. May be I was misunderstood on phone, i enquirer before I left home and they said $7 for launch. Only to find out on arrival that there is no boat launch. read more

Carl and Dave run a top notch Marina, just located outside of Discovery Bay. Not only do they support our Local Charities they offer great fuel at great prices. I run their Fuel in my Boat and have never had any issues. They are the only Marina I know of that uses BioBor in their fuel. Keep up the great work and Thanks for all you do! read more

This place is full here although it's been only 25 years since I started fishing this area. So many great places to fish in the California delta. I got here a bit early, I mean 4:30 AM is late for some fishermen's. Really neat lil place in the middle of the delta, quite a drive to get here but the thought of no hustle and bustle of the urban environment. Only the tranquility of birds singing, crickets chirping and waves crashing as boaters go by. Anyways if this place is open please go in and buy a pop or fishing tackle and enjoy a day out here. read more

I was stranded on a boat with 4 other girls on the Delta after 9 p.m. so it was dark, cold and we were completely lost, somehow we managed to paddle our way up sh $! Creek, to Bullfrog Marina gas station and Dave Ressa reopened the pumps for us and invited us in for dinner music cocktails and loaned us some blankets, talk about above and beyond service. Our boat ran out of gas about .3 miles away from bullfrog marina and the owner was passing by and stopped to check on us and personally came back with gas for us! Carl is awesome. I personally go out of my way to get fuel at bullfrog because of Carl. Carl makes a personal connection with his costumers. That goes a long way when you are used to people from the bay especially. Great guy, and I know many agree with that statement. The beef sticks make it an easy choice also. Fuel is consistently available and reasonably priced. Store is well stocked with current trending drinks and Carl takes pride in keeping it that way. This place is a great stop when on the Delta! We pulled up with my son because we had forgot sunscreen and the owner let us use his and gave him some ice cream as well. What a great weekend on the California Delta. We had a blast touring the Delta in our boat. If your boating on the Delta, I suggest you stop by Bullfrog Marina. They have the best prices on boat fuel! The convenience store is fully stocked. We were camping on a near by island and ran out of supplies. We called Bullfrog after hours and they were kind enough to open up and to let us fuel up. Thank you Carl, you made our trip! The facilities there are actually very nice and clean. It's nice to run into a local shop that goes way beyond customer service. We plan on coming up during the labor day weekend, we will make sure to stop by Bullfrog! read more

The owner Dave has really turned this place around and made it a great place to stop. They are very generous with boating and fishing information for the nearby area. A great place to grab a snack, beer or wine and that last minute fishing gear. I don't think they have bait, so remember to bring your bait with you. In general, a real nice and friendly place. The docks are nice as are the facilities. Stop[ by and have some fun while summer boating and/or spring through fall fishing. read more
