This is a hidden treasure to all card collectors. From Pokémon card, Yugioh, Magic, Dragon Ball Z, Sports cards, MLB, NFL, Champions League, etc. they also have collectible plushies. We initially went to the new store in the corner of Buena Vista and Magnolia and though they had a big selection of cards they do not beat this store. Here Freddie, Damon, and Dustin make the experience unforgettable. When Freddie found out that we were Real Madrid Fans he quickly knew what card to show us. A graded Luka Modric card (my favorite soccer player). This is a must visit for any and all card collectors.

Honestly prolly my favorite card shop I've been to in LA so far in terms of service and also me finding my favorite cards for my collection. I'll definitely be back bc of Ann , she's super patient and helpful !

The cards I put on the table. Wasn't happy with their offer at all

This mainly pertains to their Pokemon inventory but they have a mix of fair priced items and items priced way too high for what they are. Honestly seen scalpers with better prices than theirs but business is business. Mainly came in to check them out and was doing an honesty test (looking for a good shop for myself) to see what they would offer me for my XandY venusaur promo card ranging around 80$ and my 151 charizard witch is the top pull for the set ranging around 250$ or less msrp. They said they buy at 75% which is standard and then pulls out their phone saying they go by TCG market price. Wasn't happy to hear them say it's going for 150$ which is the Japanese 151 charizard price. I said the price doesn't seem right and they said that's market. I said maybe another time and bought some cards and a jap 25th anniversary booster box. Their booster box prices: Surging sparks 300$ (around 250$ msrp) Paldea evolved 200$ (around 180$ msrp) Terastal festival etb, (don't even bother) 8$ for one pack twilight masquerade‼ and 180$+ for a stellar crown booster box (around 150$ msrp) ..... I don't blame them in this current market but if you can get better prices from scalpers on the third party market there's something wrong here. They have to either stop buying from scalpers or find a better vendor. The cards I took out are in the photos. Also a shop called Hero's in northridge fashion center has better prices for packs and booster boxes than here. Currently that's my go to. Plus they're honest people

They usually have a good variety of one piece/Pokémon cards available which I usually go for. Pricing seems fair and love that they have Japanese boxes for people who don't want to break their wallet for English prices. The only thing I have a bit of a problem with is when I pick out what I want from the employees they say they will drop it off in the front at the register for check out. I don't mind them doing that for security reasons but it does feel awkward when I get in line for checkout and the items I want to buy haven't made it to the front yet for quite awhile. I understand that the employees have to communicate with customers but sometimes I feel like they'll stop what they're doing to have a chat for 15 minutes with the items in their hand as I'm just standing at the register waiting when there is a line behind me and feel like I'm holding it up until the guy at the register has to go to them and grab it from them. Other than that everything else about the store is great and I think they really built up a great environment here. PS- I would love to see more gundam TCG here but I know it might not be as popular to the rest of the items.

I understand they're…read morea busy shop and want lots of product on the floor, but this was the most claustrophobic shopping experience I've ever had. There are several display cases spaced close together with barely enough room for multiple people to be looking. There's nowhere to stand that doesn't make you feel like you're in the way. The Collectors Court was very disappointing. Prices change and markets fluctuate, but it's hard seeing cards that 5 months ago were $.25 suddenly being $1. $.75 may not be a lot to some, but it can add up quickly. I saw a 2025 Mookie Betts base card with a $4 price tag. Inserts that were $.25 a few weeks ago last time I was here are now $1. They have boxes of "premium singles" for specific players but all I've seen are base cards, not even any parallels. There are two tables now tucked inside the section that have too many chairs smushed in. You can't look through cards without having someone breathing down your neck. Most of the employees are great and friendly but I probably won't be making the trip up anymore. The shop is clearly shifting their demographic to more upscale. Which there's ultimately nothing wrong with! It just sadly isn't for me anymore.

There's a large variety of sealed product, too. The staff (Nathan, Daniel, E.J., Marvin, etc.) are super-friendly, knowledgeable, and relaxed. Plus if I want to sell/trade cards, it can be done very quickly - no entering your name into a computer then waiting 20 minutes for somebody to look at your stuff. The percentages paid are generous and fair. Finally, they have extended hours so it's convenient to swing by after work or at night to score the items you want. The Glendale location is mainly manned by Sam and he is great to deal with on all levels. The selection is pretty good meaning the showcases are well-stocked. While there is no buyer in Glendale to sell your cards to, the Burbank location is close-by anyway. I have recently had a plethora of satisfying transactions at both L A Sports Cards shops and they have definitely earned my loyalty. Highly recommended!

When one of the kids needed to use the restroom, we were told no and sent down the street in 90-degree heat. We did buy a few packs, and my son pulled a card he was really excited about. It would have been nice if someone there had shown even a little enthusiasm and shared that moment with him. Overall, the atmosphere felt more focused on the staff talking amongst themselves than making customers feel welcome.
