I called ahead and asked the gentleman how much the cheapest hot Wheel's cars were. When I got there, he did not greet me. He did not even acknowledge that I walked into the store. We're talking about a very small store where he sat in the back and could see people walk in. I can understand not pestering people who are shopping, but his actions are downright rude. When I asked about the hot wheels, did he get up and show them to me? No, he didn't from his seat at the far end of a store. He pointed as if he had a laser pointer on his finger, which, of course he did not. I was on my way to a party so I wasn't really interested in looking over his cars to try to find the area I had to ask him three times he never did get up. I found out later his five dollar cars go for $1.50 at Ralph's. When I recommend this place? Hell no unless you like terrible service and high prices. I don't understand why he's still in business. Maybe it's a front for something else. read more

Customer service sucks here, merchandise overpriced. No receipt upon request, the cashier argues with customers and only accepts cash. Then proceeds to argue with you to prove you wrong, when your brand new card they won't accept. What a nitemare and unfortunate event, don't shop here... read more

My visit to the Greg's shop was very pleasant. The store itself is not too big but definitely packed full of gems and new/ rare items. I personally like seeing models in person before buying them, so being able to take them off the shelves and taking a good look was great. Prices were reasonable too. Love the shop it reminded me of a mom and pop shop. There are fast variety of Pops, collectible cars, Legos, and so much more. The atmosphere with in the store was amazing. The customer service was very good, I liked how the owner or gentleman in charge was not pushy when it came to my kids picking something out. Often times when we go inside some stores we run into demanding shop owners who just want to take your money. At jvk that was not the case , my son was back and forth between choosing a car and although he did not proceed with making a purchase he was excited to roam around the shop and see what JVK DIE CAST had in stock. Found this store on Yelp. My husband and I figured we would go check it out since it had good reviews and I collect Funko PoPs. Once we entered the store we were greeted with a "Hey" from the guy sitting in the back of the store. The store is very small and cramped. They have Hotwheels and Funko PoPs. Most of the PoPs are commons and the exclusives are in the back of the store behind the counter. The selection of exclusives were nothing to special. He did have a Freddy Funko #03, this is the one where he is holding a PoP! sign and wearing glasses. I asked how much he was asking and he tells me $60, so I checked Ebay's most recent sold listings it is going for about $25 not $60. In the end we did not buy anything and just left. read more

The owner of the store is really nice and super helpful, he showed me the lamborghini veneno 1 18 by autoart and I couldn't resist not buying it. I went in here and bought two pop figures off this guy, yeah its a decent selection and all; but it doesn't remedy the guy constantly eyeing me and my girlfriend like we were up to something. To my surprise, my girlfriend bought me pop with out me seeing and it just so happens to be one of the pops I had just bought (go figure). So, after finding this out (literally 5 minutes later) I go back and kindly tell him the situation and ask if I could just swap it for another one; The guy then proceeded on giving me a hard time saying "we don't usually do exchanges" like I had the item for a whole day or something; he reluctantly does the swap (which he grabbed the pop and didn't even let me look) and hands it to me in "get out of here, scram." Kind of way. So my advice would be: Get in and get out, because the guy obviously doesn't like customers taking their time without him constantly breathing down your neck. I'll give it two stars because of the mediocre at best collection he has. read more

I finally discovered Greg's little hidden treasure cove earlier this year and I've been visiting every week since. When I first walked into JVK Toys, I was amazed at the selection of collectibles here, especially the POP!s, he has a very minty selection of boxes for a very fair price. I also love that they're on Instagram and give updates on new collectibles coming out and you can preorder by commenting or calling Greg directly. Called on the phone ahead of time for a specific item which they had in stock. I asked how much and they said $10. I drive to the store and told them I was the caller and was ready to check out, then they told me it's a $20 min for cards. Why wouldn't you tell me that on the phone when I was obviously asking for a specific item?! I had cash that I left at home and instead had to run around Burbank looking for an ATM. They did have a HUGE selection though, I'd be surprised if you couldn't find a collectors item you wanted. read more

Had no idea this place was so close to my house until I searched for stores that sell Funko Pops in Burbank. I am so glad I did and decided to check out the store. Since the moment I walked I knew I was gonna be a recurring customer. The owner Greg is an awesome dude and has always treated my girlfriend and I attentively in the store. We always have great conversations when I come by and you could seriously not ask for a better store owner. The store itself is packed to the brim with Funko Pops and other cool Die-Cast Car collectibles. He has a great selection of Common and Rare/Exclusive Pops to choose from and they are always in great shape, not to mention Dorbz and other Mystery Mini products. I found JVK on instagram because I collect pops and wanted to find a physical shop to buy the exclusives rather then try hunting them down in Hot Topics and other places. I saw a Game of Thrones pop I wanted really bad for my collection and I contacted Greg. I wasn't able to go pick it up right away because the shop is in Burbank and I work in Irvine so he put it on hold for me. He messaged me a few days later saying his wife accidentally sold it. To be honest I was frustrated and asked if he would be getting more he said he was going to contact the distributor so I waited. The next day he said he'd get me one and promise it for me because of what happened. A few days after that I took the hour drive & drove out to Burbank and sure enough Greg had my pop waiting there for me! He gave amazing service and was able to help me get my pop! He also is very friendly and welcoming to the people who come i his shop. I totally recommend this shop and I'll definitely continue getting my funko pops here! read more

They have an amazing selection of commons and exclusives. Amazing customer service. The owner, I believe his name is Greg, was awesome. He's very honest and will be real with you about prices. Although, he wouldn't let me buy a few of his pops because they were his personal collection lol. Overall, I'm very happy I checked this place out. First off this "store" has a good selection of pops and other collectibles. The reason I put "store" is because the guy running this place told me and my fiance that if they didn't have a price then they weren't for sale. Most of the items in the store had no price, he was very rude about it, so we left and decided that this was more of a storage room for the man. Very disappointed but luckily found some great pop stores and will NOT be returning to this one. read more
