After that,one of the Director's, Vigen, reached out and asked me to give the shop another shot. He was extremely kind, professional, and well spoken, and he took my concerns seriously. I went back in and had a completely different experience; Daniel was incredibly patient and helpful, and the rest of the team was friendly and quick to offer assistance as soon as I walked in. Even the employee who initially rubbed me the wrong way was polite and helpful the second time around. Most importantly, they made things right with me and I felt taken care of. I also picked up another ETB and had a great experience with it (even pulled some really nice Ultra Rare cards). I still wanted to update this publicly because I appreciate when a business actually listens and improves. Based on my second visit and how Vigen and Daniel handled everything, I'm comfortable coming back, and I plan to return soon.

I understand my questions may have been basic -- that's exactly why I was asking. As a newcomer, I was hoping for guidance, not to feel embarrassed for not already knowing everything. I've visited other Games Workshop / Warhammer locations where staff were incredibly kind, encouraging, and made me feel excited to join the hobby. This experience was the opposite. The atmosphere here is always fantastic, but what really makes this place top-tier is the staff. A massive shoutout to Daniel, Marvin, and Luis! They are always incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and have been so genuinely helpful whenever we come in to handle sales or figure out trades. This one is on the second floor of a two-story commercial building. Not sure if there's parking in the back, so I just park out front off of Glenoaks. Stairs are on the side of the building. Inside is nice, tidy and neatly organized. Not too much singles for sale, especially for baseball, and most of it is Pokemon cards. But they have a nice selection of boxed sports cards for reasonable prices. Bought a 2023 Topps Baseball Chrome Logofractor box and pulled an absolute monster of a card (see pic). I really liked the selection of ornaments they had this year. Prices can be compatible with the other stores. They have really good sales around holidays or after holidays. Employees are usually nice and friendly. The only complaint I have is the long lines. No matter how many cashiers are working , there is always a long line. Parking can be really challenging during the weekends. Sometimes it is really hard to find a parking spot. It is better to park close to Burger King since that area usually is not that crowded.

Some cards were fairly priced, some below market, and others above market value. One particular vintage moderately played card was listed at $16.77, while recent comparable sales on TCGPlayer appeared to average closer to the $13-15 range. Since I was purchasing multiple items and understood that older vintage cards may not move as quickly as modern inventory, I politely asked if they would consider a flat $15 price on the card. Unfortunately, the interaction that followed left a negative impression. The owner (or manager) seemed unwilling to negotiate, with his first words being "oh, so you want a break." Which came across as unnecessarily hostile over what amounted to a relatively small discount request. I completely understand that local stores have operating costs and are free to price inventory however they choose, but I felt the response lacked professionalism and customer courtesy. Because of that interaction, I decided not to complete my purchase and instead visited CoreTCG in Pasadena afterward, where I had a much more positive experience. The staff there were knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming, and I ultimately spent far more than I originally planned. I genuinely wish this store success, but I hope future customer interactions are handled with a bit more professionalism and openness.

They've got plenty of 2 mil card sleeves (cheaper than Amazon) and a ton of sports card collections, but the real standout was the interaction.
